Looking for a warm and fuzzy tale about a colorful preacher and his congregation of lively church folk? How about a feel good story full of life lessons, good morals, and happy endings? Well, keep looking because this isn't it. Reverend Cash is the story of a street hustler turned preacher from the mean streets of the South-side of Memphis, TN. Reverend Cash is a player, a pimp, and a preacher all rolled into one. To him the pulpit is just another hustle to feed his greed and licentiousness. The perfidious preacher doesn't have a holy bone in his body, yet he still manages to ascend the ranks of the clergy. He hits the big time when he high jacks the helm of a mega church in Atlanta, GA. In his wake he leaves behind a trail of death and destruction. In the words of Reverend William Cash, LET US PREY!
This book was so good. Reverend Cash was doing way to much. I have never read about such a heartless reverend. When you think he can't do anything worse he does. I would highly recommend this book.
OMG Reverend Cash...This IS the book to read! Written in classic Salaam style-- never a dull moment , just pure craziness & jokes for days! If anyone needed their own story, Rev. Cash did...This dude will make you want to lay hands on him...but "Blessed are the peacemakers". I loved it!!
Reading this book was completely different from the other books out there.
You are to follow the characters and determined if you were with or against the main character. The story seem to take place back in the early 30's and slowly comes to modern day. The story line was definitely something you would not expect however I kept reading to see what happens next. I particularly like how he mixed in another character from his other stories. There were no grammatical or spelling errors. The typesetting was good for the kindle.
I look forward to reading more work from this author.
Jesus ... Jesus ... Jesus! The Lord is my shepherd; I shall never want any parts of Reverend Cash ... with his nasty ass! This is definitely a recommended read for all of Sa'id Salaam's fans as well as any and all newcomers! This is by far, the best writing of Sa'id's most twisted tales yet ... and I loved every anticipated word!!! Amazing ... Simply Amazing!
I had a lot of mixed emotions reading this book. More than once I wanted to destroy this book because of the mockery of the church and the disgusting behavior of the main character. Had to keep reminding myself it's a fictional story but I never wanted a character dead as bad as I wanted Cash to die.. Nd when I finally got to the end and my wish came true nd I smiled for the first time since opening the book. Definitely read at ur own risk.
Dollar, Dollar Bill, Rev. Cash Whatever Some Feel Like Calling Him At The Moment, I'm Not Surprised That Someone Caught On To His Foolishness That He Has Be Doing For Years And Nobody Seem To Notice Or Act Like They Couldn't See A Wolf In Sheep Clothing, CHURCH FOLKS KILL ME, DO ALL THEIR DIRT DURING THE WEEK AND SUNDAY COMES THEY HOLIER Than Everyone Else....Come On, You Trying To Tell Me They Didn't See This Homemade Pimp Coming Before He Took ALL Their Money And Everything Else ...... SMH LITERALLY!!!!
I don’t know where to even begin this book was so crazy I have read several and I think this in my top favorite that William Cash or Rev.Cash was a corrupted soul he had so much potential to be something so great he just could not get it right greed caused him to get that visit from Killa which he deserved I just thought it was funny that the church called 1-800 Killa too funny
Man oh mannnnn is all I got to say!!! U must read the chronicle of a killa series, yolo 1-3 then sun & shine, then yolo 4&5 after that start the chronicles of a junky 1&2 then read this then knock it off with 3&4 of junky series.... u wouldn't understand or know the characters unless u read exactly how I gave it...
Great story but some of these characters disgusted me. Mary didn't realize that at the beginning of the story what she had young William Cash aka as Reverend Cash doing was going to create a cold-hearted sex crazed monster. Cash was more like Leroy than he realized. Reverend Paul and Mrs Paul was trifling. The first lady knew of her husband vices but didn't care because she had her own vices as well.
Wow! This was my first book by this author. I have to admit I was skeptical since I have never heard of him but he did not disappoint. This book was amazing, took me out of my headspace on a whirlwind of emotions. I was sad, mad, angry, excited, happy and hurt all in one book. This is a page turner like a mug... I am now reading another of his books and it is amazing as well.
It was DEFINITELY FULL OF SURPRISES! also as " you read the storyline" &KNOW a lil current events, the way that they were SARCASTICALLY INTERGRATED to coincide with the story, ESPECIALLY when Donald Trump " converted to Islam after "sellin " his casinos NOW THAT WAS FUNNY!!😅😅😅
This is my first read from you and I am appalled! Lmao! Like I did not expect that at all. I must say that this book had some straight raunchy-ness to it and I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Like the reverend was straight nasty for real. Definitely will be reading more of your work
I DID NOT LIKE THIS BOOK AT ALL & WONDERED HOW TF DID IT GET PUBLISHED. SISTER SA-ED HER BROTHER & A BABY HAD BEEN CONCEIVED ONLY TO HAVE BEEN THE UNCLE-FATHER KILL HIS UNBORN TOT & ITS MAMA-AUNT VIA POISONING OF A SOFT DRINK. MAIN MALE CHARACTER GOES TO JAIL & GETS R-PED REPEATEDLY BY HIS MALE CELLMATE. I JUST COULDN'T STOMACH THIS BOOK TO CONTINUE SO I DIDN'T.
Reverend Cash lived up to his name. He was the root of all evil. If it was something violative and nasty you better believe he was behind it. Some of the scenes were so graphic, I cringed but this was definitely a 5 star read!
I already placed a review for this book all I can say is from start to finish its HOT!!! He was a mess .... Open up and read all I can say you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED 😆he was hunching everything walking mommas grandmamas 🤷🏽♀️
Reverend Cash aka Dollar Bill was a lot! Some of the things he did were shocking and even disturbing big Once u get past all the it was good. You see a innocent young boy turn into a monster and I’m so glad he got what he deserved in the end.
This book is all over the place but in a good way. Rev. Cash is in a league all of his own. This is definitely a good book however, it's not for everyone.I will read more from this author.
That cash was something serious I was feeling sorry for him far a min then he just turnt straight trifling a must read book good from the beginning til the end
