A lonely BBW who can't shift, on vacation with her shifter family + a billionaire tiger shifter looking for a family + a kidnapping plot that threatens to rip them apart = one sexy and dangerous weekend getaway!
Curvy Toni Oglietti comes from a family of cat shifters ... but she's the only one who can't shift. She feels like she's missing out on everything, but what hurts the most is knowing that she'll never have a mate. Dating a human would risk her entire family, but shifters only mate with other shifters. When her young niece and nephew ditch her on a family vacation, she faces another weekend on the sidelines ... until the most handsome man she's ever met makes it his mission to show her a good time.
Tiger shifter Jack Silver lost his family when he was young. He's met other shifters since then, but has never found a place that feels like home. But when he returned to his family forest, he found the last thing he expected: the mate he'd been searching for all this time. Shifter or not, Jack knows Toni is the one for him.
When a shadowy figure from Jack's past kidnaps Toni's niece and nephew and threatens to destroy their newfound happiness, Toni and Jack must work together to save her family - and each other. But can a shifter and a human ever be true mates?
Trusting the Tiger is a sizzling hot, action-packed, standalone BBW tiger shifter romance. No cliffhangers!
Zoe Chant loves writing paranormal romance. Over a cup of tea (or something stronger) she whips up sexy tales of hunky heroes and adventurous heroines to tantalize and satisfy her readers. Sizzling hot romance, no cliffhangers!
While series should ideally be read in order, all of Zoe’s books are standalones and can be read in any order. This includes books within series.
Her place in the world This book is everything I have come to expect from this author. An intense, action packed read, with an instant connection, a bad guy who almost wins, and a HEA that is sure to make you smile. I love that the author added family to the mix and that she made the characters more relatable because they were unsure of their place in life. I can’t wait to read the next book by the author, I’m sure it’s going to be amazing.
Toni Oglietti was from a family of cat shifters, she was beautiful and curvy. She was also the only one in her family who couldn't shift. She felt as if life was passing her by, she wanted a mate but feared she'll never find one. And dating humans would only mean trouble for her family.
Toni was ditched by her nephew and niece during their vacation, she was feeling down until she crossed paths with a certain handsome tiger shifter. Who made it his missing to make sure, she had a great time.
Jack Silver, a tiger shifter lost his family at a young age, he never felt like he belonged even though he met other shifters. All the places he visited, they never felt like home to him. So he decided to return to his roots, what he found in his family forest made him and his tiger very happy.
TRUSTING THE TIGER was absolutely amazing, Jack didn't care if Toni could shift or not. All he and his inner animal cared about was the fact that they'd finally found their mate.
When Jack's past came back threatening his new found happiness, he moved heaven and earth to keep Toni and her family safe. I enjoyed the ride and yes I do recommend this book. Zoe Chant did an excellent job.
I was intrigued by the idea of a shifter who can't shift. I loved Toni and Jack were characters that were different from average shifters in other paranormal books and they each had something the other packed. Their love story was sweet. The addition of deJager and his nefarious plans gave the story weight and a focus outside of the cute love story that drove the plot. It was fun to read!
I love shifter books, and tiger ones are one of y favorite. It was a quick read but filled with so much love and craziness. Toni was apart of a shifter family, only she couldn't shift. Not being able to shift in a family of shifters is so rough. Jack is a tiger shifter and knew Toni was his mate the first time he laid eyes one her. But when a man from his past comes back to the present he will do anything to protect her and her family.
I am binge reading and have quite a few of Zoe Chant's books that I had one-clicked and wanted to read, but would always have something else come up. I have to say. TAKE THE TIME AND READ ALL OF HER BOOKS!! They are each unique, some follow a specific group, but each can stand alone and have a happy ending. They are feel good and quick reads! I absolutely love all her books I have read! And they never leave you feeling like your missing something at the end.
This story is fast paced, with a rather intense tone, an action oriented storyline with some character development, vibrant characters and some steamy scenes. Toni is born to a shifter family, but cannot shift. Jack is a tiger shifter who doesn't realize she knows about shifters. Then her niece and nephew are kidnapped. Sound good to you? Read this and see for yourself!
Loved Jack and Toni's story. Jack had searched all over for his mate, Toni was beating her self up because she was the only one in her family that was not a shifter. Thinking she had no worth. When Jack met Toni he realized that she was his mate. When her niece and nephew was in trouble and Jack Toni found her worth. Awesome story.
This book is awesome! Great new twist on shifters with humans and mates! I love the whole protection and driving need to connect, and bond forever as a family. Also the sex scenes are scorching and drool-worthy! Thank you for a book I didn't want to put down! I'm looking forward to your newsletter and more of your books! Awesome!
Heat, action, suspense. Toni doesn't expect to meet a man like, Jack...one who likes her for who she is, a non shifter in a shifter family. Jack too has a secret. Great read.
A well written short story with a bit of adventure. It was a nice change of pace to have the main character being an aunt with her niece and nephew for the weekend. The two children added just to the story nicely.
Not my favorite of Zoe's written but it was still an enjoyable story. This is a quick, easy read with a plot that runs through a storyline. Her characters have the type of personality that makes them easy to relate to. All in all, it was the perfect break for my regular routine.
After reading multiple shifter books of all kinds, it seems strange to find shifters as housecat. Although a cat lover, I mostly think of shifters as predators. But Toni's niece and nephew are definitely kittens. Although Jack is a Tiger which kinda puts the macho back in. I wouldn't mind a couple of male Norweigan Forest Cats in my harem though.😉 Great story Zoe!
She's just my favorite! And I love tigers, so win win. I'm kinda wishing she would do a mega fauna version. Smilodon anyone? Or Dire Wolf? Sorry not a review of this work I guess. Quick, sweet, steamy. And heart-pounding in all the right ways. Thrilling kidnapping and awesome rescue.
Of a family of athletic shifters. She loves her Family but wished she could be.... (several things). She meets her future mate and almost loses him because of self doubt. With testing her inner self she finds she is his mate and definitely worthy of self confidence and love
Trusting the Tiger is another great story of standalone Big Cats shifter stories. It certainly must be very hard with not fully knowing and understanding what the feeling is like when meeting your mate. Some twists and turns and bated breath moments when you feel that danger is lurking nearby. Even though the story has a good ending but it feels unfulfilled
I really enjoyed this book . It was exciting and fast paced. Great storyline and amazing characters. My only complaint is I’m done .... I need more of this story, and will be waiting to see if there is more. Thank you for a great read.
Jack is a shifter who has been on his own for some time and not quite sure what to think when his mate is human. Toni Is human from a shifter family and feels the attraction. Danger interferes with the presence of shifter hunters.
Jack and Toni's story is one you will enjoy. In fact, if you're like me you will end up rereading it. This is a well written, exciting story with twists and turns and love woven through it from beginning to the end. Enjoy!
This is a good first in a series story. Toni and Jack are good main characters. There is some sex. It was kind of descriptive. Do not read if you don’t want that.
I definitely want to see where this series goes. I will be looking for other books now.
Enjoyable read. I read it as part of a two-pack that was meant to get you started on a series.. or at least that's what I assumed when I got the book. This one didn't seem to be part of a series, but it was a fun read. I loved the kittens.
