A lot of interesting information and yet it leaves it to the reader to make the final decision. I enjoyed the topics and found them to be quite well presented. Each conspiracy had interesting facts and conjecture. It was well written I was glad that I was able to read all this in one book. With new information and more detail, this book is now higher on my list of interesting books.

Review of CONSPIRACY by Alex Monaldo

The author is at great pains to insist that readers use critical thinking when examining not only "conspiracy theories," but also in regard to any information presented as fact, including mainstream media. He reports quite a number of different theories, from the "logical" to the "farfetched." Altogether, this book offers a reasonable examination and a starting point for investigating various "conspiracy theories."

I read this book as part of my new book club with some college friends. We had the theme of conspiracy and each picked our own book within that category. I decided to really lean into it, and get a book that covered a bunch of popular theories.

To my disappointment, the book gave far too brief overviews of many theories or contained information I already knew. It read like a bunch of short wikipedia pages, outlining the basics of common conspiracy theories about the moon landing, the JFK assassination, the New World Order, and Roswell. In that way, it could be a good introduction for someone who has little to no knowledge of those theories. The author also was very noncommittal to many of the theories covered. I can appreciate healthy skepticism regarding these ideas, but it felt weird for a book focused on conspiracies to admit that many of them weren’t plausible.

Unfortunately, although I appreciate the work that goes into being an independent publisher, the book was not well written and had several typos and grammar mistakes. I was torn on how to rate this book because it wasn’t horrible to read, but ultimately it is not of high quality. I settled on 1.5 stars.

Terrible

I blame the cold medicine for this one. I assume this is just copy pasted from an old geocities site? This is poorly written, antisemitic, and weirdly converts to a textbook style format halfway through, resulting in a chapter on Mafia hit men being followed by questions, asking the reader to think about what they learned.

What the fuck did I just read you guys?

A few of the chapters are interesting and have actual evidence. Most are just the prejudice of the author who tends to think the government and Jews are responsible for everything bad in the world and the holocaust likely is overstated. Anyone siding with men like Hitler and Stalin never rank too high in my book. The last couple chapters before the last one are trash summaries that recapped much that had gone before and offered nothing in the way of evidence, just statements of belief.

This is one of the most interesting books I have read on this subject. This book covers everything from Roswell to 911. It covers presidential assignations to alien crashings. It shows proof that can back up the theories. The book though is written for you to decide if these things really happened. It's a good read that keeps your attention. I reccomend.

Very interesting…Some things are way out there, and others well let’s just say it’s those things that make you go mmmm. I actually found out about things that I had not known when it came to certain situations that added to the possibility of truth. Other things are disturbing when you find out things our very own government has done & may continue doing. Definitely worth the read.

A good book to read.

There are plenty of interesting conspiracies to read and ponder about. The author tries to give the reader pros and cons of believing in each conspiracy and the reasons these have started. Very interesting book to read.

Conspiracies

Really enjoyed the read, unbiased in its message. The author explained clearly and directly the theories ... and the crazier ones with personality and humour. Would recommend as an insightful read.

"Conspiracies" by Alex Monaldo is a little tour through the big mysteries of secret people ruling the world.

From The New World Order and its theory of the End Time in the Holy Bible to the Freemasons to who they might be connected with, and its involvement on the foundation of the USA. Also the Illuminati, possibly responsible for the French Revolution, also called the Enlightened Ones, and they are accused to have something to do with the 9/11 or the murder of JF Kennedy, which the author dedicates a whole chapter.

How couldn't we get to the confusing "Moon Landing", which a group of people actually don't believe, due to the movement of the flag and some wrong shadows on the image, among many other arguments.

In chapter four, the reader gets to the "Holocaust". Some suspicious voices affirm it was a Jewish conspiracy. Then, we find "The Vatican" conspiracy, being the most popular one. Here, the author develops many examples. And, finally, the famous "Area 51", with alien's stories and spaceships.

Roswell and UFO's, the Bermuda Triangle and the terrible 9/11. Afterward, we find a dissertation about vaccines, which I found very, very interesting. Finally, Monaldo steps in chemtrails and some war suspicious stories, and a final funny chapter about "Crazy Conspiracies". A miscellaneous and a little conclusion, where the honesty of the author is a bit surprising.

"Conspiracy theories aim to make people question what popular media says is “the truth.” I hope that after reading about the most pertinent conspiracy theories, you are now more skeptical than and not as easy to fool as you were before."

This book is easy to read, clear and quite impartial. The author is neat and the writing pleasurable to the eye. The structure is correct and well organized, with clear ideas and main points.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in mysteries, suspense, conspiracies and even thrillers.

An interesting narration and interpretation of events that took place at various points of time. Some theories outlined in the book are quite plausible, specially the one relating to the assassination of John F Kennedy and how the major car companies bought out the electric railway companies to destroy them and promote their cars. The author himself does not espouse these theories. In fact, he warns against them but argues that all that is made to appear before the gullible audience needs to be questioned.
There are some startling revelations in the book. The one relating to the memo circulated by the FBI pronouncing Martin Luther King Jr as the "most dangerous and effective negro leader in the country" and the need to neutralise him is quite incredible.

This is a list of some of the most known conspiracies in recent history. It's a light read, but Monaldo does not touch on details enough to fill you in; he merely tantalizes with a paragraph or a page or so on each one. W here he offers more than that, it is plain to see that he has his own biases and beliefs on these stories. The reader is much better equipped to follow up and dig in deeper with other sources. My tendency was to disbelieve the stories he thought had some credibility, and to want to know more on other stories he often dismissed out of hand. There is not enough here to inform you, only to make you curious.

I chose the rating I did because even though you can find all this information online it was written in a way that kept my interest! I did learn a few new things! I would recommend this read to anyone with even the slightest doubt or question about any of the occurrences illustrated within.

GLAD IT WAS FREE

I could have written this for all the info that was here. No original material. Not a word about Johnson in the JFK assassination.
