This short book is about the history and culture of the Native American Indians. There is a lot of information not mentioned. Again, it's a short book that provides a good introduction of the Native Americans. I give this book 3 out of 5 stars.
I want to know the references the author used in this short book. I like to know the research process. Most historians would want to know this. It could increase changes a person would read this book. This is not being stuck up because I have a Bachelor in history or my online intership with a history news website.

I also want to know the references the author used in this short book. I like to know the research process. Most historians would want to know this. This is not being stuck up because I have a Bachelor in history and am an intern for an online history news. I also want to have an author bio. Lastly, I feel the personal feelings need to be left out or change the title of the book.

I am picky when it comes to history. So that does make me stuck up. I am sorry. I would still recommend this book.

This short guide spans over the entire history of Native Americans beginning with the Clovis-first theory. According to scientists the Clovis migrated south from Siberia because they were following their main food which was mastodons and mammoths. The book clears many long held wrong notions.

Who is native?

I disliked the section of the book where it named Celebrity NATIVE Americans. For the most part these people are self identified Indians and have no connection to people or place and further the settler mentality of wannabees by just claiming “I’m ....Cherokee” yet have no idea what that means.
The historic sections were broad and informative in a bite sized pieces of history.

Great info about the

The American indians, and the injustices done to them by the American army. I still find it narrow well they fought the calvaries despite being outnumbered and outgunned. The American/native American are great warriors. Bless them.
