Griffin has just popped the question—yes, that question—and Michael doesn’t have an answer. He flees town for New Orleans to see his confidante and sometime-Domme, Mistress Nora. Will a weekend of beignets and beatings help him untangle his knotted-up heart?

Thus begins Michael's Wings, the eponymous novella that kicks off the latest entry in Tiffany Reisz's LAMBDA Literary Award-winning* Original Sinners series.

This companion collection to fan-favorite The Angel also contains six previously-published stories starring Mistress Nora's favorite angel and Griffin—his master, his true love, and the sexy-as-hell bane of Michael's existence.

Michael and Griffin are my favorite couple from the Original sinners series, and The Angel my favorite book. So when I saw they were getting their own collection of stories I jumped on that so fast! This was a great glimpse back into this world, a new original stories and if I am correct 5 previously published short stories about this couple all in one volume. If these men were real, I would love to be the F in their MFM sandwich!

I adore them, thank you for giving us more of them Tiffany!

If you follow Tiffany Reisz's amazing Original Sinners series and you enjoyed meeting Griffin and Michael and watching their characters/relationship evolve, then you will love, love, love this collection of novellas. You'll get to know them even better and on a much more intimate level. Notice I said intimate. This does not only mean sexual, although there is plenty of that. But intimacy is much more than physical and Michael's Wings will prove it.

Michael's Wings consists of the following titles, all focused on this complex but lovable duo. Ms. Reisz noted where in the series each short story/novella falls and this should be taken into consideration to prevent spoilers for any newbies out there. Check it out!!

Michael's Wings
Encompasses 30% of the collection. This novella takes place the autumn before the seventh and eighth Original Sinners novels, The Virgin and The Queen.

Griffin in Wonderland
Encompasses 8% of the collection. This short story takes place approximately six years before the first Original Sinners novel, The Siren.

Gauze
Encompasses 6% of the collection. This short story takes place during the second Original Sinners novel, The Angel.

The Theory of the Moment
Encompasses 7% of the collection. This short story takes place shortly after the end of The Angel.

The Couch
Encompasses 7% of the collection. This short story takes place shortly after the end of The Angel.

A Better Distraction
Encompasses 9% of the collection. This short story takes place shortly after the end of The Angel.

Christmas in Suite 37A
Part One: Blue Christmas
Part Two: Silver Bells
Part Three: White Christmas
Encompasses 30% of the collection. This novella takes place two years and three months after the end of The Angel.

My favorite quote:
Added on publication date: 11/7/17:
“Same Sex, Opposite Sex, Kinky Sex. All relationships are hard. Even the good ones.”

Thank you to the following for permitting me access to an advance reader's copy (ARC) of Michael's Wings. This generosity did not impact my honesty when rating/reviewing.

Well didn't this give me the warm and fuzzies....and a little slap on the ass for good measure.

The anthology includes short stories previously published on Tiffany Reisz's website and a new story giving us an extended look into Michael and Griffin's HEA. In the new story, Michael's Wings, we see Griffin pop the question to his beloved Mick, and because he knows his sub, Griffin has given him a few days to think about it.

Torn with indecision, Michael heads to Nora to smack some sense into him....quite literally.

I loved seeing Michael's relationship with Nora. It's as zany and protective as ever. Nora helps Michael weigh his options and look deeper into his feelings in the best way she knows....with a flogger and some wax.

Michael reflects on his life with Griffin and how they've grown. This also shows a more vulnerable side to Griffin...especially his insecurity regarding the possibility of a relapse. That entire scene sprang the waterworks.

The way Tiffany Reisz wrote Michael's Wings felt so very right. Every scene, every thought, every conversation felt so authentic to Griffin and Mick. These two hold a special place in my heart, and I'm so glad the author gave us another glimpse into their lives.

"There, right there. The way you're looking at me right now...that look that says you want it, you need it, and you need it from me because nobody else knows you the way I know you...that's my whole life right there, Mick. You on your knees in front of me with that look on your face. That's my whole damn life."

Genre: M/M Erotica
Type: Anthology Book 6.3 of The Original Sinners Series
POV: Third Person
Rating:

Michael Dimir was in dilemma after being asked an important life changing question by his lover Griffin Fiske. To help clear his mind, he decided a visit to his friend and mentor (and tormentor) hoping to have a clear picture of his future.

“What would you do with a pony, Nora? Seriously?”
“Pony play,” she said pertly.
“That’s a totally different kind of pony,” Michael said.

I love Griffin and was hoping to get more of him. This novella had more Nora, but I'm not complaining because she is my favorite female character ever after all haha! I like seeing Michael and Nora together and their relationship dynamic.

If there’s even the tiniest way of making you more mine, one more way of owning you, one more way of keeping you tied to me, I want to do it, and I want to do it yesterday.

For someone who preferred the spotlight, Griffin was sweet and generous to Michael. And I like how they had support from both sides of the families.

“Your back is red,” she said. “And your front is white. I like my subs to match,”

I enjoyed the story overall and it's always nice to go back to characters I love. I'm looking forward to getting more bits and pieces of the Original Sinners in the future.

So happy to have more Griffin and Michael. I LOVE them! Warning: This is a companion novel to 'The Angel,' and should be read at least after that novel in the series so as not to spoil any plot points. The Original Sinners 6.3 kicks off with a brand new, never before published novella entitled, 'Michael's Wings.' It also contains six previously published short stories about Griffin and Michael, scenes throughout their life together. My rating is based on the brand-new novella which I absolutely loved and felt contributed to their story and characters.

The timeline of Michael's Wings takes place sometime before, 'The Virgin,' and, 'The Queen,' and focuses on the time in their lives just after Griffin asks Michael to marry him. What Michael does and how he reacts are explored with the help of a visit to the lovely Mistress Nora. Without doubt it is Griffin and Michael who take centre stage in this novella but, as always, Nora is also pivotal to the unfolding narrative in a magnificent way.

The Original Sinners is one of my all-time favourite series with characters whom I'm always happy to revisit to garner further insight and development into their story or persona. Griffin and Michael are two supporting characters who I always appreciate glimpses of and an extension of their happy ever after was greatly appreciated. It's part of their relationship history that I wanted to know about and a must read for fans of this series.

Let me write some words about this story before I get fired from NetGalley.

"Michael's Wings" is a collection of previously released short stories with "Michael's Wings" being the only new one, all of which involve Michael and/or Griffin. It tells the story of Griffin's proposal to Michael and his reaction.

It's classic Reisz in that it's humorous and poignant. I've you've read The Original Sinners series then you know how these characters get under your skin, how she's crafted each of them with devoted care. Michael and Griffin have always held a special place in my heart, so I never tire of them.

"...If there's even the tiniest way of making you more mine, one more way of owning you, one more way of keeping you tied to me, I want to do it, and I want to do it yesterday. I know that sounds possessive, but that's kind of our thing, right? But you're smart, Mick. You know you own me as much or more than I own you. And that's exactly how I want it."

It's Reisz' writing that brings me back time and again. I honestly don't know how she packs such an emotional punch into everything she writes. Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's because I'm so attached to these characters. I really don't know but frankly I wish she'd stop with making me have feelings. "Michael's Wings" was no exception. I especially liked how the inherent quagmire of marriage and bisexuality was handled.

Michael naturally turns to Nora who naturally turns to kink as a way of helping Michael unwind. I mean really, is there a better stress reliever than a good beating? And maybe some wax play? It does a body good!

Nora is his touchstone in many ways and as much as he loves Griffin and has no intention of ever leaving him, the implications of them marrying give him pause for a multitude of reasons. So who better to give him advise about marriage than the woman who wants never to get married? Trust me, it makes sense and we all know how it turns out.

He'd remember this night on his last day on earth. Then Michael closed his eyes and surrendered his body to Griffin. There was no reason to surrender his heart to Griffin. He'd already done that long, long ago.

The gift Michael gives Griffen was just so amazingly perfect as was the whole scene when they come back together. Quintessential Reisz right to the end.

These stories are just peeks into the Sinners lives between the novels and without the context of the novels the stories won't resonate.

Obviously it's a must read for Sinners fans, but if you've not read the series I would urge anyone to give them a go. Be forewarned though, your face could leak and there's a strong possibility of becoming obsessed.

In this companion collection novella, we are reunited with Michael Dimir and Griffin Fiske. During this time, Michael is still in art school and Griff is busy being Griff. Upon receiving news that causes Griff to reevaluate his life, he wants to move forward and proposes marriage to Michael.

“You know you own me as much or more than I own you. And that’s exactly how I want it.”

As Michael matures and enters a new phase of his life, he accepts his insecurities and embraces his inner strength. Once knowing the answer to Griff’s question, Michael is excited to offer Griff a grand gesture to show how equally balanced they can be in every dynamic of their relationship. This leads hot and sexy times.

“This is the real reason I’m marrying you,” Griffin said. “Good power bottoms are so hard to find these days. I gotta lock you down.”

Falling into the personalities and idiosyncrasies of these characters is so easy. With Michael being one of the softer characters in the Sinners series, he is by no means weaker offering a quiet but impactful dimension. His connection with Griff is sweet and endearing. While Griff has a more charisma, his loyalty to Michael never wavers and they both are naughty. Getting some time with Nora is always a treat as she never fails to entertain.

Michael’s Wings offers a tender moment in the lives of two characters that deserve the love and respect they’ve earned. I highly recommend to those already familiar with the Original Sinners series and want some kink with their romance.

Loved to read the snippets about Griffin and Michael's relationship. A treat as always to get more about characters I've grown to love BUT major turn off about the poor editing and French translations. My King seriously lost his title and became a pauper speaking unrefined french. (even a two years old woud speak better than Kinglsey, honestly.)

The Original Sinners......one of my All Time Favorite Series Ever. So anytime Tiffany Reisz wants to write about these characters I will read. Michael and Griffin are a fabulous couple and when Micheal is asked an important question by Griffin, a trip down to New Orleans is needed for Michael to think. With the help of Nora, Michael is able to clear his head and think with his heart. A fast and scrumptious read for TOS fans. Loved Loved Loved!!!!

“If we get married after I graduate, we’ll be together all the time. Every day. Every night. He’s going to get sick of me. I don’t want that to happen. I don’t want to disappoint him. And I know I will. When I do, I don’t want him feeling like he’s stuck with me just because of the red tape and paperwork.”
- Michael Dimir

-—-

“It doesn’t make sense that putting scars on top of scars can make something this beautiful, but it did. And that’s kind of what we are together, you know. My scars and your scars and together they’re…wings. So since you gave me wings, I thought I’d give you wings.”

Even though Griffin never calls Michael Angel, he will always be Angel to me ❤ My kinky angel.

In this collection of novellas/ short stories about Griff and Mick, only the first is actually new. The others can be found (or least they used to be) on Tiffany's website. Not that I'm complaining. I didn't mind reading them again. You know me, I can never get tired of Original Sinners.

I loved all of the stories. If I have to pick the favorite one, I would probably choose Michael's Wing. Or Griffin in Wonderland - this one has Kingsley in it *grinning* And Christmas in Suite 37A is amazing as well. What can I say, all of them are my favorites. I only miss Everything they wanted. Then the collection would be complete. I most likely said that already but nevermind I will say it again - Griffin and Michael are the most adorable couple ever 💖💖💖💖

I'm sooo ready to go reading The Queen now!

That was a quick and enjoyable read from one of my favorite M/M characters. I simply adore Griffin and Michael's evolving love story. Michael's Wings is a great addition to their novella collection. What I also like was the cameo appearance of Mistress Nora with her ever-present wit and advice to her favorite angel.

Overall, it was a good read from one of my favorite erotica writer Tiffany Reisz! I don't think I'll get tired reading anything about The Original Sinners. It's so addicting.

We all remember and LOVE Michael and Griffin. Two of the most adorable supporting characters in our beloved Original Sinners series.
This book is a collection of 7 short stories about those two boys and their lives & relationship. The first (longer) story is a new one and the following six have been published before - on Tiffany's site - for free.
In this first story, Griffin proposed to his Michael and then went away on business for a few days, to give Michael time to think about things. Michael doesn't really know what to do and what to think, so he leaves NY for New Orleans, to spend some quality time with Nora.
Maybe she can whip some inspiration into him! ☺

That was adorable!

I just love this series! I could read a new 'Nora & her gang' book every month for the rest of eternity!
And this book was just as great as all the others!

Griffin and Michael are so adorable and they're so perfect for each other. But of course Michael is not sure about this marriage thing. Why do people get married? Nora's not married!
He's so young and Michael might get sick of him hanging around all the time once he's done with college ....
But of course he finds inspiration and his answer in New Orleans!!
And once the proposal thingy is done, we go back in time with those other stories - to very important & exciting & erotic & moving moments in our darlings life.

MICHAEL'S WINGS was an amazing collection of stories! Erotic, funny, moving, adorable! PERFECT BOOK! An absolute Must-Read for all fans of the Original Sinners series! Especially those who haven't read those free stories as soon as Tiffany posted them on her page!☺

P.S. If you haven't read the amazing Original Sinners Series yet - DO IT NOW! In the right order!

Sweet and fun as always!

I ♥ Griffin and Mick!

December, 2017

There are many reasons I love The Original Sinners. I won't go over them now because I've done that so many times, I've started to sound like a parrot. Suffice to say one of those reasons is that over the course of eight books, and who knows how many novellas and short stories, I've grown to love each and every one of the main Sinners, Michael and Griffin included, of course. The beginning of their romance was my favorite part of The Angel, so I couldn't be more glad that over the years since that book came out Ms. Reisz has been giving us stories about the couple with updates on how their relationship was progressing. Michael's Wings is a collection of those stories. Five of them used to be available on the author's website or elsewhere, one still is, and one story is new. They cover the start of Michael and Griffin's relationship, their first fight, the break, and their engagement. There is also one story without Michael, which chronologically comes first, so I'll start with that one.

Griffin in Wonderland takes place six years before the series' first book. In the story Griffin had left rehab too early, partied hard, punched an asshole, passed out and woke up hungover and with a man's boots on his chest. The man in question was Kingsley and he had some good advice: Griffin needed a new hobby. I do so love the stories where Kingsley invites people in need of a new hobby into his kingdom. His notorious townhouse and the kinksters in it are so much fun to read about from the perspective of a newcomer which Griffin was here. He was in Wonderland, and he was Alice, and by the time Kingsley with Eleanor's help demonstrated what his new addiction could be, Griffin had a heady feeling without having taken any substances and his mind was made up: he was in!

Seven years or so later, Griffin met Michael and they fell in love. Gauze takes place during this amazing book named The Angel, just after Michael and Griffin finally declared their feelings for each other. Griffin's gift to Michael — beautiful tattoos to cover ugly scars were fresh so his wrists were wrapped in gauze. It was a sight that led Michael down bad memory lane. Luckily, Griffin was there to bring him back to reality that was almost too good to be true: Griffin and Michael were officially a couple. And as the thoughtful master that he is, Griffin made sure Michael had a good association with gauze from there on. Like everything with these two characters, it was super sweet.

A Better Distraction , The Theory of the Moment and The Couch take place shortly after The Angel when Michael and Griffin were still figuring their relationship out.

In A Better Distraction they learned to communicate better. The previous weekend there was an incident, and ever since things were awkward between them. It was high time to put an end to the awkwardness. Plus, Griffin needed a distraction, and what better distraction than his beautiful sub. While Mick worked on his school assignment using Griffin as the subject, Griffin revealed something from his past which was pertinent to their current situation. The air was cleared and everything was right between them.

In The Theory of the Moment Griffin met Mick's mom Melissa, and it's actually told from her perspective. Over the lunch where she was going to conduct an interrogation to find out what she could about her son's boyfriend, she actually learned something very important about her son that allowed her to understand him better. Griffin painted an amusing picture of the kinky world he and Mick lived in for Melissa, and made it clear he would always be there for Mick. All in all, it was a beginning of a beautiful friendship.

The Couch marked Mick and Griffin's first fight. Michael wanted to blame the couch, their new, very expensive couch, but he couldn't. Not really. After the fight Griffin went out, and Michael was left in the apartment to freak out. What Micheal did whenever he was freaking out about something concerning his relationship with Griffin was talk to Nora, so that was what he did. His wise mentor calmed him down, and Griffin came back. They made up on the couch, of course.

Christmas in Suite 37A is 2014 Original Sinners Christmas story, and it's set during The White Years. Since the books in The White Years are primarily prequels, and have only small parts depicting the lives of the Sinners after The Mistress, I was glad this story started with Griffin visiting Nora and others in New Orleans. It was great to find out how happy they are in their HEAs, and I can't say how much I loved the scene where Griffin hugged Søren, saying "Cuddle me, big guy." Hilarious! Griffin, however, wasn't in the best of spirits at the beginning of the story. He was visiting Nora because he couldn't stand to be home without Mick. Mick had gone to Rome to spend a semester abroad, and they were on a break. With his relationship with Mick in question, he went to Nora to hide out at her place. Of course, Nora nudged him in the right direction. Griffin reached out to Mick, and Mick responded. Back in New York Griffin went to great lengths for his Michael to show how much he missed him, how much he loves him, without pressuring him. It was wonderful, sweet, and... magical.

Michael's Wings is the new novella. Griffin had popped the question, and ordered Mick not to give him an answer right away. As is the tradition, Michael flew to New Orleans to talk about it with Nora. Micheal figured it was better to obsess over his answer at Nora's than to obsess over it at home. He knew he did the right thing when he found himself in the dungeon with words The floggings will continue until morale improves hanging on a wall. His Mistress knew how to make her Angel feel better, and knew which questions to ask to help Michael find out what he truly wanted. After a thorough flogging and wax play his morale had indeed improved, and his answer was crystal clear. Decision made, he went back home and waited for Griffin to tell him what that answer was, and he found a perfect way to do it.

This year I reread The Red Years which includes The Angel, and it was better than the first time, and the second time. I could say the same about the stories from this collection. I've said this before, but it doesn't hurt to repeat it: I've always gotten more than I expected from these shorter stories. That's not an exaggeration. Every single one was better than I expected, and believe me, I expected a lot. They've been quite helpful in getting to know the Sinners better, and understanding their actions, especially in the beginning. Now they're a great and I guess the only way to find out what's going on with the Sinners, so I hope there will be many more of them in the future.

Fans of the Original Sinners Series will not want to miss Michael’s Wings!   Featuring a number novellas that take place at many different points in the series, you’ll get a chance to revisit and experience a little more of these characters and their stories with Michael and Griffin being the primary characters. From Griffin’s proposal to Michael and Michael’s weighing of that decision to Griffin meeting Michael’s mother for the first time and even Griffin meeting Kingsley for the first time; these stories are sure to keep your turning the pages with their intriguing plots as well as all the salacious moments between.

One thing I do caution is that you should only read Michael’s Wings after the entire series to avoid spoilers. Also it would be good to go back to Book 2, The Angel to refresh your memory on how Griffin and Michael first meet as well as their backgrounds, before starting Michael's Wings.

“Tell me why you’re afraid of saying yes to something you and I both know you want.”

Michael’s Wings was just wonderful; spending time with Griffin and Michael with a novella that explored what happened after Griffin popped the big question; followed by a series of previously released short stories set at various points throughout the Sinners series. This was just the perfect trip down memory lane with time spent reminiscing and catching up with everyone though the main focus obviously being on Griffin and Michael’s relationship – the good, the bad and the sexy.

“He thinks I’m perfect, and I’m not.”

The Sinners series should be read in order therefore this collection of stories cannot be read as standalone. Rather its feels almost like a gift to those of us who adore Tiffany Reisz, her masterful writing and her unique and highly lovable characters, I miss them tremendously!

Griffin and Michael’s story had me crying, laughing, smiling as well as getting a bit hot under the collar! Shame really that I got hot under my collar and not Søren’s, sigh….our Priest makes appearances as does Nora and Kingsley which just made this even more perfect. From start to finish; Michael’s Wings was trademark Tiffany Reisz and I loved every minute of it.

‘A human being was a matrix of wants, needs, and desires and when the pain reached its peak, Michael wanted nothing, he needed nothing, he desired nothing and so he became nothing. It was the purest peace.’

I’ve always had such a soft spot for Michael, having cried many tears for him and I really felt that this novella showcased a young man growing more confident in his skin, assured of his choices and content in the knowledge of Griffin’s love for him. We are shown moments where heart-break, confusion, misunderstanding and uncertainty rears its ugly head as well as moments of pure unadulterated joy and intimate exhilaration.

“Why can’t we cut the cord?”
“Because the cord is made out of the same stuff our hearts are made of.”

The banter, the kink and the emotional elements were spot on; once again showcasing that Tiffany Reisz really is the –mistress- of the written word. I can honestly never have enough of her stories nor enough time spent with these characters. My heart feels incredibly full, yet is big enough for more.

“You on your knees in front of me with that look on your face. That’s my whole damn life.”

Omg more of Michael and Griffin hell yeah. I beyond love this series and all the characters in it. We begin this book by finding Griffin has proposed to Michael. Our poor Michael is not sure what should he do. So he decides he needs to see Nora.

Who knew that this book in the end has a few novellas. The novellas are cute and short read. I really wished they were longer. I can never have too much of Michale and Griffin.

Griffin in Wonderland

We learn how did Griffin meet our wonderful Kingsley. Who infact introduced him to our Nora. Shocking he is the one who names her Nora.

Gauze

Takes place after the first night Michael and Griffin have been together. Michael had a bad association with gauze from his past. Griffin decided to change the association for good. Griffin has always been so loving. I love seeing these two together.

The theory of the Moment

Melissa Michael's mom wanted to meet and learn about the guy her son has been dating. She felt like she never understood her son and wants too.

The Couch

Omg Michael had his first fight with Griffin and boy did he hit him below the belt.

A better Distraction

Griffin helps Michael with his art assignment.

Christmas in Suite 37A

I never thought I will see the day when Griffin will go to church. Thankyou Nora for being you. Mick has asked for some space from our poor Griffin. We see him trying to deal with days without his love. I almost cried when they got back together. What great writing even about the Catholic church was spot on.

Michael's Wings is a collection of short novellas revolving around the relationship between Michael and Griffin. The love they have for one another was beautiful to read. To see that love evolve into so much more, made my heart burst out of my chest.

With Tiffany Reisz's writing style, you never know what to expect. But every single time I laugh, cry, and damn near want to throw my tablet across the room. Whatever she writes, I read. It's as simple as that.

When Nora, Soren, and Kingsley made an appearance, I screamed so flipping loud!!! Gah this series will be the death of me...

Read this series, fall in love with the characters, and be prepared to have a fan....
It get's hot... extremely.... HOT!

Short and sweet and so Griffin and Michael.

If you’re a fan of Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners series, you’ll love this story about Michael and Griffin. It’s everything fans have come to love about this world and is a giant spotlight on a favorite couple. It’s probably not a story I’ll revisit as often as the main books but it’s a fun read and a more in-depth glimpse into the life of such a private couple. This is probably one of the poorer edited books in the series, but all of the other books have been edited very well so it’s not saying too much.

If you’re invested in this series, pick this gem up and take it at face value and for the sake of enjoyment and love. It’s a nice treat for Reisz’s Sinners.

*I received a free copy of [title] from [publisher] via Author. This has in no way influenced my voluntary review, which is honest and unbiased *Michael's Wings... *sighs* I wish I had had the self control to read this selection of short novellas much slower. But that was simply impossible. The stories were all irresistible, and it made me so happy to be in the Orginal Sinners universe once more!

Stories:
All the stories in Michael's Wings are set in the Original Sinners universe. If you know me at all, you know I absolutely love everything about the characters, the universe and the stories Reisz writes in this series. Each story brings something new to the table. A little quirk a character has. A different perspective on something that happened. A vulnerability that had been well hidden in the past. And, as always, the writing is absolutely amazing.

There are seven short stories in Michaels' Wings, and they are all great. Of course, they're all a little naughty. And they're plenty hot. And spending some time with these incredible sinners is always a nice treat. No matter if I had a good week or a meh week, spending some time in this universe just makes things good all around.

If you're new to Tiffany Reisz and her Original Sinners series, I think you should start with The Siren rather than with Michael's Wings, as you might be a bit spoiled for the full series if you pick this one up first. If you're already familiar with the Original Sinners but haven't read this one yet, you should. Trust me! One-click it, and bask in the awesomeness.

*Spoiler warning* Be careful with the kindle notes, they are quite spoilery.

4.5 stars!! Oh, I loved it hard and I totally expected no less. If there is one person in this book-universe I love besides Søren, King & Nora, it's Griffin. He and Mick together, even when they hurt me, they completely melted me. *sigh* Though for this series, that is kind of the norm, LOL.

I don't know why all of the emotion in this took me by surprise but it did, emotion of all kinds. The kink is so integral a part of this world that I always seem to forget how fantastically easy it is for these characters to take your heart apart. Most surprising for me in this was the way Nora and Søren's faith shone through here. Despite the fact that Søren is a Catholic priest, religion itself has always been lightly touched on and never, ever has the story come to be about it, though it was always apparent how important a part of their lives the Church was. While Griffin is staying in New Orleans with Nora , I was a bit stunned at how naturally Nora turned to faith to help comfort and encourage Griff. For Tiffany Reisz to be able to do this in a way that was so truly, simply moving without it being at all preachy is just more proof of her brilliance, and why I buy anything she writes.

This was a genuinely wonderful, more intimate look at how Griffin and Michael loved, struggled, clashed and grew to become everything that they are to each other. Honestly, I hope TR never stops writing Sinners stories, because then I never have to stop reading them.

I'd like to thank NetGalley and 8th Circle Press for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I live Michael and Griffin. Their story is just touching and kinky and hot. However, I did miss some of the original characters. I was particularly in the mood for someone with Hessian boots, if you catch my drift. The new novella was amazing! Of course, knowing how it'd end, I didn't sweat the drama too much. I did think it a bit weird that the novellas weren't in chronological order (or they were and I was just too blissed out to notice).

I have always had a soft spot for Michael ever since first meeting him and I adore his relationship with Griffen. They are both so cute, and of course insanely hot together. I also love how close Michael is to Nora and the rest of the "Original Sinners" gang. Basically I just love everything about him so reading this book was a must for me.

"Michael didn't know what he would do with his wings if he had them,
but he did know the one thing he would never ever do.
He would never fly away from Griffen."

"Michael's Wings" is a collection of short stories featuring Michael and Griffen as well as the other characters from the "Original Sinners" series. I loved every one of the stories that I read, each one making me fall even more in love with Michael and Griffen. They really do have the most gorgeous relationship, with so much loved shared between them and also a whole lot of steamy action. If you are familiar with this series you will know how kinky this series is and this book did not disappoint in the sex department. I loved every minute!

If you love this series you will not want to miss this book.

This series in itself is a phenomenon and the characters beyond extraordinary. And when you are given a sneak peek of their lives in form of novella's who wouldn't want to grab a copy of it? Michael's Wings is a great treat for Griffin and Michael fans. All the characters are unique and lovable but when these two characters were introduced for the very first time I was immediately drawn to their chemistry, it was off the charts. Their love and adoration were simply heart-melting, I couldn't help myself but fall hard for these two super funny and adorable characters. This continuation of their story will make you giddy with joy. Plus this includes bonus stories published earlier.

I LOVE Tiffany for always writing short stories for all her characters even when the series ended long ago. Thank you for ALWAYS keeping the Sinners alive.
