This is book III of the forgotten egypt series Akhenaten. A legendary love indeed. This book picks up where book two left off. I think the first 40 pages could've been added to book two. This picks up at the disappearance of Nefertiti and the aftermath of the family until it's revealed the truth about her disappearance and the destructionthat followedthe truth. There were a lot of secrets that Queen Tiye hid from her family in order to remain in power. This also introduces Smenkhare and Nefertiti daughter who was the spitting image of her mother and the secrets around his identity. This also delved into the past of Queen Tiye an Ay, great character development. However for me it made the dislike worse as they inflicted the same pain and loss onto there families that they themselves experienced. So much happened in this book. Overall great story. I hope to see Tiye and Ay get what's coming to them.
