What’s included in the Rocked & Twisted boxed set:
- Rocked, book 1
- Rock, Rattle & Roll, book 1.5
- Twisted, book 2
- Untwisted, book 2.5

Rocked, book 1.0
I felt the book was a little longer then it needed to be but overall it had a good flow to it. I did not read the prequel Seduced but I wasn't lost at all you can definitely start with this book if you want to. I do think I will go back and read Seduced just to get more of a background on the other characters in the book before I move in to their books in the series. I'm very curious about Grayson (AKA the ghost) and I think the prequel will shed some light on him.

Rock, Rattle, and Roll, Book 1.5
Deacon and Harper finally get to take their honeymoon. This was a quick read with lots of HOT honeymoon situations and a little bit of drama

Twisted, Book 2
This is Grayson and Jasmine's story. It begins with Jazz becoming Gray's foster sister and it alternates from then to now with each chapter. I loved how they did this because you get to see how they were when they were teenager's and how the events of their past lead up to them becoming a couple finally.

Untwisted, Book 2.5
Jazz and Gray are finally getting their happy ever after. They have had a few bumpy twist and turns but now that Jazz is pregnant they need to take care of a few things. First on the list a secret wedding, so secret Jazz doesn't even know when it's happening. Second on the list tying loose ends with family members. I can't go into detail because that would spoil things but I will say I am looking forward to seeing more of one family member as this series continues.
I can't wait to read Destroyed which is Simon's story...I have a feeling that one is going to be super hot!

Book 1-1.5 Rocked, Rock, Rattle & Roll - Deacon & Harper. I loved Deacon!
Deacon is part of the upcoming rock band Oblivion. Harper is a Roadie chef and they met on the road.
Deacon is only 24 years old but he is very mature and the most stable and no nonsense member of the group. Even though he came from a unstable childhood with a mother who choose her boyfriends over him time and time again. He is strong willed and he knew Harper was it for him right away. Harper is 22 who was raised on the road. She was a street smart, independent, tough cookie. It took her a while to come around and not be scared about her feeling for Deacon. They had great chemistry.

Book 2-2.5 Twisted, Untwisted - Grey and Jazz
Both Grey & Jazz are part of the Oblivion band. Grey is the guitarist and Jazz is the drummer. They met when Grey was 16 and Jazz was 14. Grey's family was Jazz foster family. Jazz mother put her in the foster system when she was 12 because the mother boyfriend did not want her around. Jazz and Grey bonded over love of music. They fell in love as teens. They did not come together until the band. They dealt with a lot in their short life, Grey with drugs and Jazz always feeling like she was not good enough.

The authors did a good job of showing the ups and downs of the music business. Talent can only take you so far, you have to fight to get a foot in the door and stay there. I like that they were ordinary (no billionaires) 2o+ year old who were young in age but mature, world weary from childhood experiences, every day life, yet determined to succeed in their goals and dreams.

First books

I liked the first 3 books best. Books 2 and 2.5 was a little long and I didn't feel Gray was the same character that he was developed and portrayed as in the first books.

I've read most of the books in this series except for these. I've been saving them and this was the weekend I treated myself to this series I really enjoy. It's fun.

Rocked (Book 1)

When Deacon McCoy sets his eyes on Chef Harper Pruitt, he is immediately interested in not only the awesome chicken salad she’s put together, but in finding out more about the beautiful chef that’s part of the road crew traveling with them on their first tour.

Chef Harper is no stranger to the roadie life having grown up on a bus with her roadie parents. She’s got big dreams too, that include owning her own catering service, especially now that her current employer is considering taking her on permanently. She doesn’t need the six foot five distraction called Deacon McCoy.

Deacon isn’t discouraged by Harper’s reluctance and between some incredible music and food, they find a way to be together. Oh, and did I mention they have lots of sex? Yep, in all sorts of places as any rock star and his girl would. But when it all comes down to being with Deacon or leaving him to take advantage of an opportunity to run her own food truck, things explode between them, and I don’t mean in a good way.

I absolutely adore this rock star series. I’m picky about which rock star stories I read, and this one is most definitely on my list. The guys are fun, there’s lots of great banter and drama between them. That’s my favorite part. There’s even a girl drummer, which really makes this a great fictional band as far as I’m concerned!

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott know how to write sex scenes so that they aren’t boring. That’s not always easy considering these men (and ladies) have libidos that need a lot of attention! But the authors always mix it up enough to keep me from skimming.

All the books in the series can be read standalone. As a matter of fact, I’ve been saving this one for a day when I just want something fun to read, that’s light on the drama, and heavy on the love story. My only complaint is that it’s over too soon!

Rock, Rattle & Roll (book 1.5)

This novella is another one of the many reasons that I adore this series. So often I finish a book in a series and wish there was more of that couple. So Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott give their readers a little more in a follow-up novella featuring the couple in the full-length book. In Rock, Rattle & Roll, Deacon and Harper sneak away from their work obligations to have a quick honeymoon, only to find that they are facing the next turning point in their journey together.

I liked this one, although I wanted to smack Harper a few times for not going to Deacon with her concerns. But then I thought that’s part of being newly married and I tried not to be too hard on her! They definitely have some unexpected challenges which they deal with it in a way that ended up making me smile. And of course, there’s plenty of naked time for both!

I love these little novellas between each of the full length books. It’s a great way to construct a series and give this reading fan more of my favorite couples..

Twisted (Book 2.0)

Gray Duffy has always tried to protect his foster sister, Jazz Edwards who just happens to be the drummer in the band. Probably because he’s been in love with her for years. He’s not allowed himself to take their current platonic relationship to the next step for a variety of good reasons, but when he finds Nick moving on her at the bar on NYE, he can’t deny his feelings any longer.

Jazz is happy and confused by Gray’s interest, but he runs hot and cold and she’s had about enough of that. When she finally tells him how she feels, he can’t resist her any longer. But being together reveals some of Gray’s problems and past, and things get very interesting and possibly devastating as he tries to get his life back together.

This book is a little darker than the first one, but still captured my attention fully. I don’t really put the books in this series down until the final pages, because I just become so engage in the story, I don’t want it to end.

I loved the addition of Lila in this book and how she interacts with the band. But mostly, I loved Gray and Jazz’s story and how they were in love for all those years without acting on it. Talk about sexual tension! These two are very hot together, as expected.

Another winner from Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott!

Untwisted (Book 2.5)

The band's popularity is on the rise and Gray and Jazz help to take it even higher with a steamy video. With Gray in recovery, Jazz is struggling a little with her new relationship. Gray has a surprise for her, and what could have turned out disastrous becomes a sweet moment for the couple. This was a great finish to Gray and Jazz's story.

This series is a lot of fun, and this is a great package to get started. There's super band drama, lots of hot sex, gorgeous rockstars and just the right amount of spicy conflict to make you fall in love with all of them.

The Lost In Oblivion series by authors Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott is perfect for fans of the hot rocker genre. Plenty of rockstar antics, love connections, and, oh, yes, steamy times abound. This post shows reviews for two of the four books in the bundle.

TWISTED:
As the cast-off kid of a mom more interested in her boyfriends than her daughter, Jasmine Edwards has never known the security of a real family. Being fostered by the Duffy family shows Jazz just what it means for someone to have her back, and she finally has a best friend and brother in Gray, their youngest son. As time goes on, though, neither Jazz nor Gray are feeling remotely like siblings, and their relationship turns into something far different.

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott, using their typical magical words, have written Jazz's and Gray's story in a way that makes it impossible not to love them, even when one of them is doing something that is not very likable. Over the course of the journey to their happily ever after, Jazz and Gray have not had an easy time of it. Facing one obstacle after another, including one very big one that truly tries the strength of their love, the two of them are like true north for each other, and can't help but come back to each other time and again.

Jazz stole my heart from the very beginning. She's had to take care of herself for a long time, and letting someone in is not easy for her. With Gray, though, Jazz has never felt anything but cherished and loved, first as a sister, then as a woman. And Gray. My heart breaks a little bit for Gray, and I just wished that he'd tell Jazz what he was really feeling. When he finally does, when these two finally get it together and, well, get together, it's like a love detonation.

I love every book in the Lost In Oblivion series, but TWISTED might be one of my favorites. It has so many feels, so much passion (let me just suggest that you have a fan on hand for the sexy parts, because, oh, my goodness, HOT), and characters that grab my heart. Fans of hot rockers, fans of romance, add this one to your TBR, because this 5-star goodie is one that you should be reading.

UNTWISTED:
As Oblivion gains popularity as one of the hottest bands around, its members are still dealing with a life in the limelight. For Gray Duffy and Jazz Edwards, bandmates and lovers, reconciling their pasts with their futures may prove to be the biggest adjustment of all.

I love the Oblivion gang, and Cari and Taryn have done their usual great job of delivering a read full of sass, snark, and über-hot sexy times. Gray has a little piece of my heart, and seeing the lengths that he will go to to make sure that Jazz is one happy little mama makes me smile. And Jazz, super-sprite that she is, is what being a bad-ass chick is all about.

I thoroughly enjoyed this little book, and getting some more of the backstory of these two characters. Watching the whole gang come together to make dreams come true made me one happy reader, and makes this an easy 4.5 sexy, sassy, entertaining stars for Jazz, Gray, and their crazy but lovable bandmates.

This is a review for Rocked and Twisted, the two main stories in this collection about the rock band Oblivion. Though these two stories are complete with happy endings, it also comes with two sequel novellas for the couples, a snapshot of their lives after they've gotten together.

Rocked
I really enjoyed all aspects of this book - the descriptions of what goes on behind the scenes of a new band as it finds its groove; the banter and conflicts between the band members; the sexual chemistry between Deacon and Harper that burns through the pages of the book. At times emotionally charged, heartwarming and humorous, every emotion is well handled, well written and believable to the reader, making one feel that they are on this journey with the band. The love story between Deacon and Harper is the main focus, but all the secondary characters forge together to create a riveting story. I,for one, have my ticket booked for the upcoming 'tour' by this band.

Twisted
The roller coaster ride of sex, drugs and rock and roll continues with this latest entry in the Lost in Oblivion series. Though it could be read as a standalone, it does rely significantly on past events from the prequel novel Seduced (though these are explained to new readers). This story features Jazz and Gray. From the time that Jazz entered Gray's home as a teenage foster child, he's loved and protected her. And when those feelings became more intense for him, he acceded to her wishes and kept things platonic. But now that they are all grown up, partners in the band Oblivion and ready to admit their feelings for each other, things seem to be spiraling out of control. After all this time, will their love for each other just not be enough?

I found this story to be equally as riveting as the ones that have come before it. I really enjoyed how the story was told from the point of view of both main characters. As well, giving us glimpses back in time of Jazz and Gray's history and what has led to their current circumstances adds a rich emotional feel to the tale. Jazz is a somewhat contradictory character - vulnerable and innocent in some things but desperate to have Gray see her as a woman and not a girl anymore. She's a spitfire in word and deed now and when she decides to go after Gray she does it with her whole heart. Gray on the other hand is a stoic and increasingly tragic figure in the first part of the story as he struggles with his drug addiction. The more he turns towards this dark path the more he feels unfit for Jazz. When the turning point in the story is reached there is still the feeling of a long road to redemption, but one the reader feels Gray deserves. Naturally the sex scenes are smoking hot as one has come to expect from these authors, and the intensity of them is ratcheted up by the real feelings Gray and Jazz have for each other. This is another great entry in the series.

I just love Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott's work! This box set sets you up for with the first books in what will become your new favorite series.

Thoughts on Rocked:

Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn have done is again (per usual style). Rocked, well, quite literally, rocked. I loved Harper and Deacon, and Rocked brought all the magic I was hoping for with the prequel that didn't quite hook me.

These two together are a duo clearly just work. While I love their writing separately, together they are a force to be reckoned with.

Harper and Deacon just stole my heart. And I really hope we get to see more of them in future books, in more than just fleeting glances in passing, as I just adored the pair of them. They compliment each other in more ways than one as characters.

Part of the storyline towards the end irked me to no end, and I was ready to throw things at two of the characters. And while the other characters seem to have forgiven, or at least accepted them, I still think they should have rotten tomatoes thrown at them ;)

Thoughts on Twisted and Untwisted:

Dark and gritty with a whole lot of romance sums up Twisted in a nutshell. After loving Harper and Deacon's story, if it's even possible, I fell more in love with the characters from Rocked in this one and am head over heels for this story.

Everything about Twisted felt so right. I have been eagerly anticipating this one for months, and it was everything I wanted, plus more. I love that Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott aren't afraid to dive right into a story that deals with the dark and gritty. That's reality, and if you ask me, the pay off is even more awesome.

This book should likely require a fire extinguisher. Some of the scenes . . . I don't think they even require words. All you need to know is that Jazz and Gray are steaming up the pages. And steaming them up good.

One of the really awesome things about Twisted was the focus on the secondary characters. Getting to see them all again is great, but I felt like in Twisted I really got to know the characters in a way I didn't in Rocked. Which rocked. They all really rounded out, and I found Nick and Simon to be heading up towards the list of my favorites. Also, Lila, who had a minor role in Rocked, totally stole the stage in Twisted. Gosh, I love her! All the female characters in this book are kickass with a side of sass; I love it.

I'm fairly certain that this dynamic duo destroyed me with this series This is a rock band romance series gone right. A total must read :) It's safe to say I am lost in oblivion.

OMG! I love this series! The development of the characters in each book makes you feel like you're a part of the group. They are just a fun group of rockers with plenty of sex! I had to get the rest of the books in this series that I was missing!

Rocked (Book #1) This is where you get to meet the rock group Oblivion and how they start to burst onto the rock scene. This is also Deacon and Harper's book. Deacon is in the band and Harper works in food service. She's adamant that she won't get involved with the rockers but that quickly falls away when she sees Deacon. I love how these two sneak around and the chemistry draws you in and keeps you turning the pages. But once, the tour ends what will happen to Deacon and Harper? Will she be assigned another tour to go on? It's not smooth sailing but great writing that will keep you wanting more and reading to find out.

Rock, Rattle & Roll (Book #1.5): This continues Deacon and Harpers story and boy is there a lot of steamy sex! I don't know what to say except that this book is seriously HOT!

Twisted (Book # 2): This is about Jazz and Grey and their love story. They first met as kids when Jazz was being fostered by Grey's parents. Grey is a few years older and always felt the need to protect Jazz. They both secretly wanted each other. I loved how the book showed you want they were like together when they were kids and what's going on with them now. Their path is NOT smooth but definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. They had chemistry off the charts! And I was routing for them to find each other and make it work. This is definitely darker than Rocked but just oh, so good.

Untwisted (Book #2.5): This is Grey and Jazz's continuation and yeah! How can you not love a guy that only wants to please his lover and sometimes goes about it all wrong and gets himself in trouble. Grey's just so lovable and how can you not adore the mini girl who has won everyone's heart. Their families get involved and there's more for them to overcome.

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott have become authors that I one-click and with these 4 books, you absolutely can't go wrong! Hot rockers with such different personalities. Each rocker has his/her own unique background and story that keeps you turning the pages wanting more! I can't wait to read Simon's book! If you haven't read these authors, you don't know what you're missing. They are truly fabulous authors!

This review contains reviews for the two main stories in this Lost in Oblivion collection.

Rocked
I totally devoured this book. I absolutely love the dynamic created among the band, and the way Harper fit right in was perfect.

It was an easy read, in that it kept my attention the whole way through, and I. Simply. Adore. Deacon. :)

The sexual tension at the start between Deacon and Harper was outdone only by the HOT culmination of their attraction.

The intra-band angsty stuff was very well written too; those silent stares among them were palpable, and their fighting was all too real.

All in all a great read, and I can't wait for the rest of the series!

Twisted
I loved it. Gray and Jazz's story was a good one, and I hate Nick less now than I did at the end of the first book :)

I enjoyed the insight into Jazz & Gray's history with the "then and now" style of writing. It made their codependence easier to understand.

Though the sex is steamy (and there is lots of it!!), that's not all this book is. There's a real story under there. Like in the first book, there is a problem that is messy and hard to deal with, and again, the writing rises to the occasion. Taryn and Cari don't let Gray off the hook, and they don't glorify his weakness. Gray is made all the more human for it.

I read Jazz as a strong yet vulnerable character, wanting to save Gray without letting him save her -- I think their long history of her being the rescued has shaped her in that respect.

Did I mention I hate Nick less now? His support of Gray and Jazz was nice to see, and though he'll never get over his perviness (we hope) he seems to be learning how to be a friend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the read, and have the other books in this series on my "must have" list.

Having 4 of the books in the Lost in Oblivion series in one bundle is like a dream come true! This is one of my all-time favorite series and is a must-read. Every single book in this series is amazing. Taryn and Cari brilliantly draw their readers into the LIO world, giving them a front row seat to so much rock and roll goodness! I was introduced to this series with Seduced and with each book, I fell more and more in love with these guys. And let me just say, the stories are smokin' hot and super sexy. You can't help but love all of the characters!

Rocked and Rock, Rattle & Roll are Deacon and Harper's story. Deacon and Harper are absolutely perfect for each other. The story is sexy, fun and a fabulous introduction to the band as they are now. Not only do we get a fabulous love story but we also get a backstage pass to the inner workings of rock tour which made this story that much more fun!

Twisted and Untwisted are Jazz and Gray's story. Theirs is a unique love, one that started many years ago when Jazz moved into Gray's home as his foster sister. They formed an unbreakable bond, one that grew into a love that neither could give into. When they finally get together, it is intense and beautiful. But with their new found happiness and relationship comes major hurdles that must be overcome. Gray must face his drug use and it's not an easy battle. There are so many touching moments with these two as they truly have such a beautiful relationship.

Once you devour these 4 stories, you will be more than eager to get your hands on the next books in the series and they are just as fabulous! Grab this awesome bundle--you won't be sorry!

I got introduced to the band in SEDUCED, the prequel to the Lost in Oblivion rockstar series. In Rocked, I fell in love with them. And in Rock Rattle & Roll, Twisted, and Untwisted that love deepened and grew.

All of the books feature the entire band and the struggles and triumphs they encounter on their journey towards fame. Each book and its accompanying novella also focus on one member as he/she finds love. We learn so much more about what makes them tick.

In Rocked & RRR we get to know lead guitarist, Deacon McCoy, and watch as this gentle giant gets felled by Harper, the band's chef on the road. I loved that girl's sass. She was perfect for him. Lawd, were they hawt together.

In Twisted & Untwisted we learn more about Jazz and Gray growing up together, what tore them apart, and their struggles to rediscover — or actually admit — the love they've always had for one another. I loved Jazz from the beginning. She's like a happy little puppy: a little wild, full of life, always bringing a smile to everyone's face. Gray was always so quiet that I hadn't gotten a good read on him until his story. I liked him much more after Twisted and felt he and Jazz were ideal for one another.

Lost in Oblivion is a fantastic series with a superb cast that I've become invested in and care about. It centers around a band but is about so much more than that. I highly recommend it, but suggest starting with the prequel.

If you haven't read the beginning of the Lost in Oblivion series, this is a great start, the first 4 books of the Oblivion story in one place and for a great savings so you can binge read the beginning of the band. Rocked is the first book in the series and tells about Deacon's struggle and the introduction of Harper as the chef for the band on their first tour. Deacon discovers that Harper is hot not only in the kitchen but in the bedroom as well. Rock, Rattle & Roll (Oblivion 1.5) is the continuation of Deacon and Harper's journey with her catering business taking off and their cementing their relationship. Twisted is the second book in the series and tells the story behind Grey and Jazz's friendship and secrets; from Jazz being a foster and Grey's struggle with his family to the pair joining the band. Untwisted (Oblivion 2.5) is their progression and how they adapt to their new relationship and the band family.

The most bookmarks!

Absolutely loved these! Was completely smitten with Harper and Deacon, made more bookmarks on the long steamy scenes than ever before. And I have absolutely revisited those! Jazz and Gray's story was frustrating. But it was a lesson to hang tight...literally. Looking forward to reading Simon and Nick.
Enjoyed the writing for the way I easily identified with the characters and the progression of the story. Weren't too many spaces that I was in my head thinking "like that would happen." In this genre I find a lot of thin plots, and a lot of too fast "wham bam, minus the thank you ma'am!" With these my head was able to use it for the escapism needed and I had plenty of time to reach my own conclusions without being rushed through them.

This series of rock star romances introduces you to the present and past members of Oblivion. The character development by these two girls is OFF THE CHARTS! If you have a chance to read ANYTHING of theirs I recommend you take it. I definitely recommend picking up this lil bundle of rock N roll goodness.....lol still making rock star romance puns sorry, but these are such good books they will leave you in a good enough mood you just might want to write a few puns into your reviews too ;)

I loved the story behind the band members finding love and the journey they had to take to get to their happy ending. The struggles were 'real', I was however put off a bit by some of the over exaggerated amount of sex that takes place, it happened so much that it became too repetitive and took away some of the magic, anticipation and excitement. All in all a good story which allows you to get to know the characters.

I adored this bundle. I loved the characters then I hated them then loved them again. I laughed and yelled in frustration. The book had angst and very tingle worthy. I enjoyed the back stories. Well written by two of my favorite authors. The saga continues.

Captivating Series

I loved the way the stories were interconnected. The characters were people who could be a friend. Keep up the good writing!
