Sinfully sexy Travis De Luca came into Remi's life when she was young, inexperienced, and easily dazzled. With his scandalous words and wickedly sexy grins, he possessed a power no one should have over another. He was a foul mouthed, trouble-making thug to everyone else, but she'd witnessed the vulnerable side he hid so well. After one earth- shattering experience and his declaration of love, her body and soul were hooked.
When Travis is sent away without warning, Kristiano De Luca —his equally sexy cousin—comes into Remi's life as a friend when she needs one most. After years with no word and waiting for Travis to come back, she loses hope, and the friendship she's built with Kris grows into something beautiful that fills the void Travis left behind.
But a surprise return from Travis and one passionate night with him throw all their lives into chaos, and nothing will ever be the same again.
Author's note to reader: Imagine two heroes with your all time favorite qualities. Hot, bad boy, tattoos, dirty mouths, hot head alpha to a fault and possessive as ALL hell. Both going for the same girl!

It is the not the worst book I have read but it has been awhile since I have felt so much disgust towards both the hero and the heroine.
SPOILERS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS REVIEW
I disliked both the hero and the heroine. Lets start with the supposedly "hero", Travis. Travis is a juvenile delinquent manhoe. He lost his virginity at 13, lying to the older girl he was with about his age. Since that time it seems to that Travis’ goal to be with as many girls as possible and cause trouble. Travis gives oral to the heroine, Remi, a virgin who has very experience with the opposite sex. Travis claims to love Remi. However, a few a few days later after being intimate with Remi, Travis is gets a bj & has sex with OW because he needs to blow off steam and is irritated with Remi. Then Travis wants to be with Remi again. Travis goes away and Remi tries getting a hold of him. She writes him a lot and tries other ways to contact him but he never responds. After leaving Remi, Travis continues to have sex with OW, who look like her and ends up in a serious relationship with one of her look a likes.
I disliked the Remi almost as much Travis. Remi is a pathetic doormat that lets Travis treat her poorly and goes back for more. She takes whatever little affection is he is willing to give her and eventually cheats on a man who is 100% better person than Travis and unlike Travis treats her well. Remi, who is older than Travis by 2 years, pines for him. She babysits Travis’ brothers and that is the way she gets to see Travis. Remi is in love with Travis and has been for a while even though he is only 16 years old. She gets intimate with Travis and a few days later she sees him with OW. It does not matter enough because she still loves him. He leaves and instead of having any type of pride she continues to try to get him to respond to her and continues to pine for him.
The only character that I really liked was Kris. Kris, Travis’ cousin, moves into Travis house to help the family including his mother. Kris falls hard for Remi and wants to be with her. He stays in touch with Remi including when he is in the military. When Kris is out of the service they enter they have a romantic relationship. However, Remi hangs she hangs onto her virginity. Travis returns home and they both declare to each to each other that they still love each other. Remi says that she has been saving her virginity for him and gives Travis her v-card, cheating on Kris. After giving Travis her v-card, he leaves her again. He has found out that his girlfriend, a Remi’s look-alike, who is pregnant with his baby, has a medical emergency. Remi and Travis do not stay in contact with each other. Remi gives in and has sex with Kris and Travis continues to have sex with his girlfriend. However, at some point they have sex again and continue to cheat on Kris and the Remi’s looklike, who is still pregnant with his child Travis child.
After their behavior I felt nothing but disgust towards both of them. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t believe in their HFN ending. Travis will not stay faithful and Remi will continue to be a pathetic doormat, letting him do whatever he want as long as he continues to claim that he loves her.
While I really liked Kris in this story, it appears that I would not continue to do so if I read his story. From the sample given it appears that Kris may have sex with a married co-worker while possibly in a relationship himself. In the sample Kris talks about how fine the OW is but that she is married and he is with someone. Regardless of what happens I will not be reading the next book. I was too turned off the hero and the heroine and my opinion of Kris could not get any better than it is now. It can only get worse.

Remi’s Choice tells the story of Remi and the two men in her life, cousins Travis and Kris. Travis has always been for Remi her best friend, her crush and everything in between. When he is sent away without warning, Remi is devastated. When, Kris, Travis’ cousin, comes into her life, he manages to fill the void left by Travis. But, when Travis comes back he ignites old passions.
A single graze of his fingers and my entire body is on fire, not just with desire but emotion.
Both men make her heart tremble, but Travis sets her body on fire. Both men want her. How will she ever choose between them?
Remi tries hard to resist Travis, even though she wants him badly! The story is intriguing and it’s told from alternate POV's constantly switching from Remi to Travis to Kris. The dialogue is amazing and the sex scenes melt panties.
My main problem is that the love triangle was developed in such a way that I sympathized with Kris and leant to his side. I think that Remi and Travis acted quite selfishly, while Kris’ thoughts and actions were more mature and decent. I don’t typically enjoy cheating, that’s just me…but overall this is a good book. It has chemistry, romance, sizzle and humor. So if you’re looking for a quick, fun, and flirty read, pick this one up.
Provided on behalf of the author for an honest review.
Oh, the epic love triangle story! I’m sorry, but this one is—by far—one of the best I have ever read, so if you like shapes with three sides and different angles, pick Remi's Choice up!
When Remi falls in love with Travis from a young age, she never would have expected him to disappear. She may have been more mouse than lion when it came to her attraction, but she loved the way her flirted with her and knew one day she would give in.
Travis has liked Remi for as long as he can remember. He is brash, bold and, when it comes to her, he holds back no punches. When he gets sent away, he can’t bring himself to hurt Remi any more. He just cuts ties and leaves.
Kris moved into Travis’s Mom’s house after Travis had been sent away. Just before he is deployed, he meets Remi and knows he wants her. With him being Travis’s cousin, the lines of right and wrong are blurred…
I really loved the tension in this book. It almost flowed off the pages and made you feel just how the characters felt. There was also a lot of heat! I was shocked I didn’t burn myself while reading.
Because this book is a triangle, someone is bound to get hurt. How will it end? ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

Cherrrryyyyyyyyy!
Thank you. Now that that’s over, I don’t feel the need to shout CHERRY, so loud! First, I’m jonesing to chat with Ms. Wylde; she seems so familiar!
I like Travis. Done. He’s loved Cherry for his whole life. Then life throws him a curve ball and their lives are forever changed. Kris enters Remi’s world when she needs someone, and life becomes a slow progression of like into comfort, comfort into love—or so Remi thinks.
Enter Travis. He’s home…. What happens now is all up to them.
Remi’s Choice is anything but Remi’s choice. This is life. Real life. A hard life where we’ve all loved, learned and loved again. We struggle to make the right decisions at the right time. There are times in our lives where we don’t realize the importance of communication, sacrificing our happiness for others, and the effect of our actions on other’s lives.
Ms. Wylde has written a story of young love that show us what it’s like to grow up loving someone and learning to communicate with them as we grow. My heart beat both at a rapid rate and so, so slow while falling in love with Remi and her journey to find love. It was easy for me to decide which path for her to take because I wanted her to always follow the road of love... ~ Heather, 4.5 stars
I was so excited to jump into this book after Eli (originally wrote under pen name Amanda) contacted me asking if I could read this in exchange for an honest review. And she went beyond my expectations.
Remi's Choice is a love triangle but not what you would think. Travis and Remi have known each other since they were kids - she used to babysit him and his younger brothers. But then he's quickly pulled from their lives and she never hears from him again.
Kris is Travis' cousin but they aren't exactly close and when Kris moves in with Travis' family, he becomes close to Remi. Kris and Remi build on their friendship and just when Remi is finally ready to give Kris more, Travis rolls back into Remi's life. But will Remi make the right choice? The man who is very right for her or the man who's willing to be her everything?
I love how Eli works this plot out. Its not an easy, that's for damn sure. Remi is torn and really, can you blame the woman?? Two extremely hot Italian men want her! *fans self* What I really enjoyed was being able to read this book from all three of their POV's. You get to see Remi's struggle with what she wants and what she feels is right. Travis' indecision to fight for what he wants or continue on the path he was on. Kris' inner battle with himself - is he reading too far into things or is it really just the stress of both their new jobs causing the tension?
Eli makes her characters feel very real - their decisions, interactions and how they handle things makes this book very life-like. She kept them true to who they are. Just because a girl walks into their lives, they don't become a totally different person or start acting totally different.
I enjoyed reading everything play out like I was watching a movie. I could easily picture every scene. And some of those sex sense - WOAH!! I really liked every bit of this book!
This is a republishing. What a waste of cyber space. A diarrhea sounds better than this book. Disgusting Just reading this review made me gag. 😷🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
This was my indulgent Sunday morning read and I just could not put it down. It goes from teenage love to young adult lust and moves into a pretty messed up love triangle so lots of angst!
Remilynn grew up next door to the DeLuca family. The eldest DeLuca son, Travis, has that whole bad boy thing down pat. He didn't have a lot of boundaries growing up and therefore experienced things a lot earlier than most teenagers so it would be fair to say he is a lot more worldly than Remi. There is a simmering attraction between Remi & Travis which I absolutely loved. Remi is this innocent, inexperienced virgin and Travis is the kind of guy your father warned you about but you just can't help but think naughty thoughts about.
All this attraction comes to a head one night when Travis tempts Remi (he calls her Cherry) into going a bit further than first base. It is then that these two realise just how much the like each other and have done for a long time. Remi finds herself constantly thinking about him and looking for opportunities to spend time with him. They have only just begun to get to close when Travis is taken away from her and Remi is left heartbroken.
"Because I've never wanted anyone like I want you." He stares in my eyes. "I've been in love with you for years, Cherry." - Travis
This is when Kristiano DeLuca comes into Remi's life. He is an older cousin of Travis and moves in next door with his extended family. Over the next couple of years Remi and Kris become close friends, all while Remi is still pining for Travis. When Remi finally accepts that Travis has moved on without her she is ready to give her heart to Kris. I really loved Kris, he has a little bit of that bad boy about him but he is also really sweet too. He adores Remi and treats her like his most prized possession.
This is when things get messy! Travis is surprised to find out about Kris and Remi on one of his visits home. He has already moved on but for some reason thinks he can have his cake and eat it too. He was only with Remi for two weeks before he left so I couldn't understand his attitude towards her relationship with Kris. Needless to say lots of things happen that shouldn't happen and the green eyed monster is in full force. There are a hell of a lot of secrets and dishonesty which all inevitably implodes around them all.
Eventually Remi has to make a choice and I was quite divided over who I wanted her to choose. So yeah, a very messed up, highly addictive angsty read!
When the author contacted me to review her new book under an alter-ego name, I was intrigued. Who was this author? Not to mention the summary sounded like it would be a heart-wrenching romance I would love. I went in with high expectations and, unfortunately, wasn't as blown away as I wanted to be.
Travis De Luca is a bad boy who loves to live up to his reputation. So whenever his brothers' babysitter is around, he loves turning her cheeks as red as her cherry colored hair. Remi feels an undeniable attracted to the dangerous Travis De Luca, but one mistake leads to Travis leaving and never coming back. Remi is heartbroken and when Travis's cousin, Kris, moves in a few months later, Remi finds a friend that she desperately needs in him. Years later, that friendship starts to bud into something more, but Travis comes crashing into her life again and Remi has to decide if she can put her heart through another heartbreak, or stay with the man she knows will keep her safe.
Going into this, I knew that it would be a love triangle. I have no problem with love triangles if they are done well, but I just could not connect with Travis, which made this love triangle more annoying than anything else. I hated how crude Travis was and how obsessed he was with doing a certain something to Remi. Literally, it's all he talked about when they were being intimate and I was turned off from their whole relationship. I felt like the potential was there for Travis to be this tattooed, irresistible bad boy, but I think the sexy bad boy image was too over the top and not enticing at all.
While I wasn't a huge Travis fan, I didn't really have any emotion towards Kris either. I felt like he was just there to be in the love triangle and I think that his character needed fleshed out a little more. I would have liked to know more about his past other than the fact that he was Travis's cousin and he had grown up with everything Travis hadn't. I felt like his drama that was added near the end that causes Remi to consider being with him was a cop-out to creating more drama with the love triangle and I didn't really care for it.
Overall, I wanted so much more than what I got with this one. I'm still intrigued as to what author actually wrote this story, but I think the characters needed to be developed a bit more along with the main relationship. I didn't really buy into how hard and fast Remi and Travis's relationship began and how hung up they were on each other from then on. Overall, this one was a disappointment for me.
Full of angst, addictive and an emotional rolercoaster ride!
This is a taboo story - yes, there's cheating! But I couldn't care less, when you meet Travis you'll know what I mean! Let me tell you, in this book things get WILD! I know it can be over the top at times, but it made sense for this story. It's told from three POVs, the dialogue is amazing AND you can expect lots of drama. The sex scenes are so HOT.
The big question she has to answer is: how do you choose between a safe choice and a risky, dangerous one? I wouldn't be able to pick one! I thought the heroine was very immature for an 18 year old, but I could agree with her final decision.
I felt the ending was a little rushed but you can expect a HEA. I am dying to know who this author is, she's very skilled and talented, I want to read more of her books!
I received an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Travis De Luca has always enjoyed tormenting Remi, or his Cherry as he calls her. He loves making her blush, making her hot and making her squirm with his dirty mouth, knowing she is still an innocent virgin. But behind this teasing there are real feelings, and feelings Remi feels right back. But when Travis is sent away unexpectedly Remi is forced to move on after not hearing from him...and when Kris, Travis's cousin comes into town, what's starts as friendship turns into something more. But maybe Travis isn't as completely gone away as Remi thinks? Who will she pick? And how will the boys deal with liking the same woman?
"I'm no good for you and I know it. Not yet. But when, not if, I make you mine, because I know now that it's gonna happen, no one, not even your dad, will be able to keep you from me."
Now this is a love triangle romance so yes there is cheating!! But don't let that put you off. I'm not normally a fan of cheating books but this one drew me in and it was definitely because of those scrummy De Luca boys. And also because you actually felt bad for Remi rather than angry because you could feel how torn she was.
"I'm still not sure what it is but something in my heart has always told me she was still waiting for me. That that flame that burned for me in her heart is still there too. I'd always seen it."
I had a huge soft spot for Travis and I have to say I was definitely team Travis throughout. Maybe because I loved his younger bad boy self and then I loved when he definitely matured but still kept his bad boy persona. I did like Kris as well, it was hard not to. He was equally as sexy and I loved how he took his time with Remi.
"I know this is wrong. I know I shouldn't be here. I know I should stop this. But I'm helpless to."
This was definitely a romance filled with drama- cheating, hot romance, running around, new girlfriends and possible pregnancies...it was all going off with the De Luca boys and Remi. I really had no idea which way she would go at some points- I could feel she likes both and she was struggling with what she was doing and who she wanted and even thinking did she even deserve either of them.
"At the moment all I know for a fact is that life goes on and time really does heal all wounds."
I loved the ending, I think the author managed to get it just right, where you didn't feel too much sadness for anyone and instead could see the happiness in everyone's ending situation. So yes it may be a cheat book but you will get your HEA and you will leave with a little sigh of happiness and eagerness to hopefully carry on Kris's story!
I absolutely loved this book! It fulfilled my expectations, and then some. I knew going into this, that it was going to be a wild & emotional ride.
Well-written and so deliciously naughty, you will not want to put your kindle down. I am so glad I took a chance on this book! I finished it over 10 days ago, and I cannot stop thinking about it. Full of the kind of angst that makes you so pissed off that you want to throw your kindle. The kind of angst that is so intense, you want to devour the whole story right now. The kind of angst that increases your heart rate, making you crave more.
Told from 3 POV’s, this story will suck you in and make you beg for more.
Be warned, this book has the following: • A possessive, dirty-mouthed alpha • Cheating... *gasp*… Two guys wanting the same girl • So much angst it will make you cuss like a sailor…#%&@!!! • Tons of passion! • Off-the-charts, smokin’ hot scenes that will make you blush. • No cliffhanger – you’ll get your HEA!
I recommend this to anyone who can handle reading about cheating. Even if cheating turns you off when reading romance, I recommend at least trying this. I have never wanted the heroine to cheat so badly… to be with the other guy.
Just when I was getting comfortable with a scene and its characters…BOOM… next comes a different POV, another character, making me second-guess my thoughts and decisions just moments ago.
This book…get ready for it. Well-developed characters wrapped up in a world of scrumptious angst, you will not want to put it down until you’ve read every last word. I want to read it again already!! Love this author’s writing style. Cannot wait to read more from her!!
This made a nice change to my usual reading material, its nice to jazz things up a bit, well it is for me, then I can come in fresh to each book.
Its been a while since I read a love triangle book. I have nothing wrong whatsoever with love triangle books as I am a realist and things like this do happen.
I thought Remi was totally swept away by Travis, he seems to just open his eyes and see right through her. She who was NOT CHERRY POPPED yet really was putty in his hands. But didn't he treat her well.
When things go a bit hairy and things turn for the worse this is where we meet the third person in the wheel.
Its well written, and because I came in fresh to a genre I haven't read for ages I thought it a nice change and got my teeth into this yesterday. Before I knew it, I had finished the book.
As with any love triangle there is someone who is definitely going to get hurt, hurt bad, but who will it be?
The author asked me if I would consider reading this and I accepted.
Nothing we do will ever be wrong. You hear me? You’re mine and I’m yours. That’s how it’s always been and always will be.
Maybe my experience with Remi and how things went down was a life lesson of some sort. Though I’ve yet to figure out just what the hell I was supposed to learn from it.
My Review:
Remi’s Choice presented me with a conundrum. Remi was between the proverbial rock and hard place – with no way to avoid anguish and disappointment to several people. Yes - there was cheating in the book, which I felt conflicted about, and the characters were conflicted about, but the duplicity was oddly understandable. The writing was tight, emotive, sensual, engrossing, heart squeezing, and angsty. It was well plotted and written in my favorite form of multiple points of view. I generally do not enjoy feeling so on edge while reading, but I could not put this one down once I started. I want to read everything this talented author ever writes. More, please!
This was a read in one sitting book…no not that I didn’t have a million other things that I could have been doing but yes because it was that good, I couldn’t move! I read this blind, knowing nothing about the author or the book really but if this is only the first of the De Luca Boys Series then I am signed up for the long run…it was superb. Travis De Luca was no saint but he wasn’t much of sinner either he was just a kid that knew exactly how to be where he shouldn’t at any given time and with his smouldering good looks and bad lad reputation he had most of the female population of town eating from the palm of his hand but the one he really wanted, the one that sparked his need and his desire was the one that he didn’t really have the opportunity to have. Remi was two years older and she was the girl tasked with looking after Travis and his brothers’ when his mother was out. I could say babysitting but really Travis was barely home so the time they spent together was minimal but that didn’t stop him doing everything he could to push her to her limit. Although she shouldn’t, Remi had feelings for Travis but she soaked up the teasing that he would dish out and refused to be drawn into his game, until one night she stopped fighting it and the dynamic between the two of them changed forever. But what they started doesn’t get much a chance to grow because no sooner is it on than it is all over and Travis is gone for good, without as much as a goodbye. # Remi is grief stricken and despite her every effort, what she had with Travis is over but moving on is never that simple. Remi continues to function but she her heart is with Travis no matter where he is and she hasn’t really allowed herself to get involved with anyone since he left but when his cousin Kris moves in with Travis’s family, she takes tentative steps, I wasn’t sure if I liked where this was going, it sort of smacked of “if I can’t have Travis, I’ll have the next best thing his cousin” but it soon became clear that, that wasn’t the case at all. She tried with Kris and they have the start of a beautiful relationship growing, until Travis comes back to town. Now, I think he would have deserved a slap but heart and head are not on the same page in this scenario and so you can take a fairly inspired stab in the dark with what happens between the two of them and when history repeats itself I am sure you will be shaking your head and muttering “Remi, Remi, Remi” at your kindle screen. I liked Kris but I only ever saw him as a substitute and I think Remi’s heart would agree with me on that but that is not to say that I found everything that Travis did acceptable, the guy was a pain in the butt at times and I just wanted him to jump one way or another! The story was full of push me, pull me moments. It had trouble written all over it in big shoutty capital letters but I was hooked. The dynamic between Travis and Remi was extraordinary, it wasn’t quite unrequited love but it was a love that life seemed determined to get in the way of, until they both faced the fact that their future was predetermined and they had to face up to the fact that they were never going to be happy anywhere else but with each other! A superbly written, a perfectly worded story, it was full of emotion and attitude and completely enthralling! I loved it.
Firstly I would like to thank Amanda for giving me the honor of reading and reviewing this amazing book. And no i do not know who her true identity lol but I'm dying to know. This is her first book under this pen name and all i can say is if this is the begining then Im dying to see what it written next. I read this in one sitting finished at 1am couldn't put it down ( which is very hard with four kids). but i finished it and it left me in awe of her writing and this story.
The book starts off when both Remi and Travis are just teenagers and Remi being two years older than Travis, travis being much more experienced in many things that a teenager his age shouldn't be yet. Travis has always made Remi anxious and he loved pushing her buttons to see her squirm. The attraction and chemisty is there no matter how much Remi wants to deny it . One night when Remi finally gives in to Travis, things change between them, but then disaster strikes and Travis is sent away without one word to Remi, no communication what so ever. She is left thinking he wants nothing to do with her after she continues to try to contact him and getting no response. But no matter what she always sees him as her first love, the one that got away . two and a half years later she meets Kristiano , Travis's cousin who moves in with Travis's family . She know she needs to move on, so thats exactly what she does with kris but then Travis returns!! what happens when he returns? does he really hate her like she thinks? has he moved on? has she really moved on? well you will have to read it and find out..... trust me you will not be disappointed. At the start i didn't know if i was team travis or team Kris but by 60 % i knew my heart belong to Travis.. This is an emotional hot ride and i loved every second of it. I most probably will read it again in the next few days because i could not get enough, and i know that i will be buying the paper back as soon as it comes out..Words cannot express how much i enjoyed this book. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE !! Once the book is released ill put up my favourite quotes from the book...HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I DID. Also let me say i hate books with cheating but with this one, its hard not to love, and it does have a HEA.
Remi's Choice is the first book in The De Luca Boys Series, and can be read as a standalone. It is the story of Remilynn "Remi," Travis De Luca and Kristiano "Kris" De Luca, told from all three of their view points.
Remi lives down the street from Travis De Luca. His mother often calls Remi to babysit Travis' two younger brothers. He enjoys flirting and teasing Remi incessantly, and while he is only a sophomore and she is a senior in high school, she finds herself crushing on him. When these two finally hook up, it is obvious that they are passionate about one another. However, Travis is forced to move away and live with his father, and even though Remi repeatedly reaches out to him, he never returns her calls or texts.
Then Travis' aunt and her two children move in with Travis' mother. Kris looks like an older version of Travis, and even though she tries to stay away from him, he makes it impossible with his sweet, patient, kind, and sexy ways. Eventually they end up in a relationship, and Travis returns. He never stopped loving Remi, and wants her to leave Kris for him. Travis was Remi's first love, but she never stopped thinking of him. Now she's fallen for Kris and couldn't imagine hurting him. Unfortunately, Remi is going to have to make a very difficult choice....
Remi's Choice was extremely fast-paced, and addictive reading. I enjoyed the plot, and fell in love with Kris. He was an amazing character! I love a man in uniform, and Kris was in law enforcement. He was sexy, sweet, loyal, loving and devoted. Travis irritated me. I thought he was selfish, brash, arrogant, self-entitled and egocentric. I felt for Remi's situation, but thought that she could have handled everything a lot better.
The sex scenes in this story were explicit, and very sensual! I was dying to see how everything played out, and read this book in one sitting!
My Rating:
I give, Remi's Choice, by Amanda Wylde, 4 Forbidden Love Triangle, Erotic, Temptation Filled Stars! I am looking forward to the sequel, Forbidden Summer, which is due to come out in 2017!!! If you are looking for a page-turning, sexy, romp of a read, look no further!
Remi's Choice was such an emotional roller coaster read. It was difficult to put down. I was in a love-hate relationship with Remi and Travis. The chemistry between them was undeniable and wasn't something that could just be put away and forgotten. No matter how hard they both tried to do this. Both tried to move on, but circumstances brought them back into each other's lives. All Travis has to do is look at Remi...smirk at Remi...and she belongs to him. He's always belonged to her despite his bad-boy attitude and reputation. This book is heartbreaking at times. You want to root for them even when what they're doing is wrong. You want them to be together even when it seems like the world is trying to keep them apart. Then there's Kris...he's a great guy. He does nothing wrong. He's wonderful...but he's not Travis. I simply loved this book and will read more from this author. Easy 5 stars!
I don't mind cheating when done right but here it was really not necessary. I have a feeling at this point there's a triangle for the sack of having a love triangle. Moreover I don't feel the attraction between Remi and Travis.
At the beginning it was like he despised her and then the next he wanted to kiss her so bad. The transition between both phase is not well done, it was too sudden. Same for her, one minute she was bitchin' about him and then next she was all over him.
What happened between them didn't even last more than a few days but after years of not a words to each other, she can get over him... Weird
I put it aside because I wasn't feeling it but now I just have no time to finish it :/
~Arc provided by the author in exchange of an honest review~
Remi and Travis have a thing when young. By thing I mean not really a relationship, but definitely some serious chemistry going on. Travis has been on a dangerous road though getting into all kinds of trouble. One night changes everything for them. Remi is attacked and he comes to her rescue, but there are consequences. Separated they both try to move on with their lives, but when reunited the attraction is hard for them to resist. They are soul mates who unfortunately will leave others in pain to be together. I hated the cheating for Kris. He was such a good guy. I did want Travis and Remi to find their happily ever after though.

"Nothing we do will ever be wrong. You hear me? You're mine and I'm yours. That's how it's always been and always will be."
So much went on in this book - the pace was perfect - the simmering emotions and it's changes were sometimes too much I had to literally put this book down. The struggle was there but I was so curious as to who she'd end up with. I know it was obvious (cuz I would have ended if the obvious feel was wrong lmao). On the bright side, the struggle!!
Fuck I loved the struggle.
Remi had the denials, the ignorance and the coping to go through. And I admit, her being scared, to come forward and be honest was real to me. During the events she went through, then the guilt which followed by the shame, I was happy for her and sad all at the same time. I did feel like she was selfish and stupid at times. Hated how every time he'd ask her anything she'd tell him. When she needed to say It's not your fucking business. and end it there. That naivety was kind of nauseating.
As for Travis - sexy asshole Travis. I love him, in all his tattooed glory. But man, was he a dick! I found him to be really selfish and didn't really like his character. His age shone through so much and even though it wasn't a big gap I keep saying how childish he is and selfish. Meh. I had him as eye candy. He had a way with words and he truly did love Remi - even when he was being a dick about it.
Couldn't stand how too...quiet Kris was. I needed more angst! The angst whore in me was thirst, cried when nothing really came about. I felt it for him, but like he said - they deserved each other :D
Aside from the tad bit that really turned me off...I enjoyed this read. I let it slipped by the first time when she cheated, but the continuity of it really rubbed me the wrong way. I can't express how much I hate cheating, cheaters, liars - *shudders* - I hate it.
Overall, I'm glad I got the opportunity to read this. I hate not finishing a book and a part of me that was able to do this was due to the fact of it being an ARC. So bless your soul dear author for giving me the chance to read this.
The ending was really good - I love the prospect of Kris meeting someone. I'm still a forbidden whore deep down and the mixing pleasure with business NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!! lol

I wasn’t sure if I would be a huge fan of Remi’s Choice as it does involve a love triangle, but somehow I really enjoyed this book. Remi is caught in an impossible position, between two sexy men who adore her. It’s not your normal love triangle for several reasons. First, Remi has been in love with Travis since she was a young girl, and he’s been in love with her. Second, there is an age difference, Remi is 2 years older than Travis, but it really doesn’t matter. Third, it’s told from the three main characters POV which I LOVED.
Remi is a senior in high school when the book opens. She is the babysitter for the De Luca boys, except Travis, he’s sixteen. So, she’s really there to watch the younger boys. Travis has a bad boy reputation, and he really lives up to it. He’s brash, impulsive, and has the dirtiest, yet sexiest mouth ever. Remi has always had a crush on him, despite the fact she is two years older. He has always had a thing for her, and every chance he gets, he lets her know exactly what he wants to do to her. However, before they even get a chance to give their relationship a go, they are torn apart. Years pass with no word from Travis, and Remi is finally trying to move on. She has even met a new guy, Travis’ cousin, Kris. As they begin getting more serious, Travis comes back into her life. It will change the course of all their lives.
Many times I didn’t know whether I was Team Travis or Team Kris. Both had qualities I loved. Kris was wonderful and great to Remi, but l felt like Remi, my heart beat faster and harder for Travis. Can anything or anyone come between two people who were meant to be? The chemistry between Travis and Remi was INSANE!!! As you can imagine, there was also a lot of drama and angst. There had to be for this story to work. If you enjoy romance and sex that leaves you breathless with not one but two hot guys and you want to read a quick read, I highly recommend this book!!!

Hang on to you hats for a fast paced love triangle of sorts.... '
Remi is the resident babysitter for the younger DeLuca boys but not Travis. Travis is the only two years younger than she is and he is usually out when she is there. But... when he is home he secretly gets more of her attention. She has a the forbidden crush on the younger bad boy. She knows her parents would never approve of Travis. Travis fast becomes her first love as he takes her out of her comfort zone and into a whole new experience. That is until he is just gone....no contact, no nothing.
Picking herself back up Remi is determined to move on....when the next DeLuca boy moves into town. Cautiously Remi get to know Kris, Travis's cousin who moves in with his aunt. Over time Remi thinks she might truly be able to move on and let her heart go once again....When Travis comes waltzing back to town.
This is a good story about true honest connections, trying to re-open your heart, the internal fight between the heart and the mind, and understand the different types of love and ones true feelings. I hate to give to much storyline and that is hard with this story. I can say that Amanda will have you searching for what happens next, who will Remi choose in the end, the safe bet or the reformed bad boy. Which will her heart choose.
Give this one a try, you won't be sorry you did. The 3 POVs will keep you flipping the pages.

I really did like this one. It does involve cheating, which I usually don't like in my romance novels, but the author told me about it before I started reading and being prepared for it kept it from bothering me too much. We follow Remi through the end of high school and into early adulthood. When the story starts out we have Travis as her main romantic interest, though I'm not sure if he really earned Remi's adoration. Especially not while they were still teenagers. There is a certain moment where he definitely steps up for Remi, but apart from that we don't really get to see how or why they seem to have such deep feelings for each other. In fact, that was pretty much my only gripe in this novel. We get to know Kris, Remi's second love interest and Travis' cousin, really well. We get to see their relationship evolve from friendship into something more and we see how much he truly cares for Remi. With Travis we don't ever really get to see much interaction between them that gives us an idea of how they developed feelings for each other. We know that they love each other, because they say it often, but I felt overall I was left wanting a little more from their relationship.
Don't get me wrong, this was a quick read and a steamy romance. I definitely enjoyed this story and I was curious how we were going to get to our happy ending. While I might have chosen differently than Remi, I still had a good time reading her story.
