FINALLY! Dragons, love, mystery, suspense and SATISFACTION!

Wow, wow and just wow, this 4th book in The Dragon Archives just blew me away. It is the story of Lleland, now a master of philosophy, however he'd previously been an orphan when his father was killed in front of his eyes by a dragon. The dragon being none other than the rogue dragon Jack who Aaron had killed, but who had bonded the young Lleland to him before he died. Lleland grew up to hate and fear the monsters who had taken his father and had become one of the best dragon hunters in the Kingdom. However as things turned out he was to have Zach Drake, the son of Keira and Aaron as his student at university, and he in turn introduced him to his twin sister Lydia. Lleland felt an attraction towards Lydia right from the start, but his life was to be completely turned on it's head when he got to know more secrets than he had ever bargained for. This book is a heart stopper, first I feared to start reading it thinking the hunters would jeopardise Lydia's life, then I started to fear for Lleland's life when threatened by the League, but in the end I loved the beautiful romance which grew from enemies to lovers between the two of them. I also love the massive surprise ending and cannot wait to read book 5, the final book in this amazing dragon shifter romance series.

This was 4/5 for me. I liked the plot and all the characters, with certain exception to Lleland at times.
Anyway, other than these few gotcha's, I like the usual flow of the plot and characters being true to their nature, specially Lydia and others from previous book. Lleland was a good character, just not great one for me.

I have truly enjoyed this series along with the bonus novellas that add richness to the whole tapestry of family, kin and dragons. The descriptions of mountain scenery almost make this beach lover want to experience the beauty and power of the mountains in winter! The books compel the reader to stay with them until you get to the end and the denouement. I hope there will more additions to the series very soon.
One area of concern I do have relates to the author’s reliance on mutual misunderstandings by the main characters of each other’s intentions and the complete unwillingness to let the other person speak enough to explain the mix-up. (Books 4&5) It comes across as childish flouncing about and is tedious to wade through. I sincerely hope the author limits this plot structure in the future. In the meantime, I eagerly await the next book/novella in the future.

I listened to the audible version of this story and enjoyed it a lot. Finally, we have a female lead character that acts mature, and I enjoyed Lydia's character a lot. Lleland was a good male lead character but there were definitely times where I wanted to grab and shake some sense into him. I enjoyed the little twist the author threw into the story when it came to him. He truly had to face his truths and come to terms with everything in this life. In the end he made the best decision for him, and it made me enjoy this story even more. I loved the surprise the author threw in at the end of this story and I'm hoping Zachary gets his own story. I'm definitely looking forward to more stories from this author.

I have read all four of the Dragon archive books plus the two stories . I love them so much I really really hope that she writes another book.
I recommend this book to everybody on earth that loves dragons. I chose a five-star rating because she really deserves it . I hope she continues to write more in the series of books I can't stand the fact that this is the last one . We need to find out if Zach gets married. there are all sorts

Dragon and human romance?
This is a really twisty book you kind of think you know wheres going but you find out your only right some of the time. Very fine job at intrigue. And again another exciting romance including dragons.

It was pretty good. A good ending to this series. Some parts were a little too much vampire like for me. Other than that, I enjoyed the book.

Love how she knows dragons. You can visualize where they are and what they look like. Read them all you will not be disappointed.

I have really enjoyed the series. I’m sort of sad it’s over. I really like this authors style of writing. Character and story development a really good writing is not too simplistic. I would definitely recommend this series.

Not as good as the rest of the series
I had really looked forward to this book, but I am disappointed with this story. I found the main character Lleland to be unlikeable and he never really makes up for his horrible actions. He is supposed to be a scholar and a philosopher, yet he ignores evidence and is willfully stupid for more than half the book. Then his opinions change abruptly with no real apparent reason. I don't believe he deserved any of the outcomes that he got. In my opinion, the other characters that were featured in the previous books acted out of character in their responses to him. As a result, I found myself feeling less respect for them. If this wasn't a continuation of a story that I loved, then I probably wouldn't have read very far. I kind of wish I didn't read this because the story would have been better left off with the conclusion of book 4.

Lleland Seaton is a college professor and a dragon hunter. When he was young, he and his father were attacked by the dragon Jack, and his father was killed. Now he feels that all dragons are evil and should be destroyed. He meets Zach, his student and his sister Lydia and then he learns who their father is. Lleland goes on a quest to meet there father and has to travel many miles to get there. What he finds out when he gets there challenges every thing he believes. And what about pretty Lydia? Can he see past her secret especially when he discovers he own? I love this series and this might be my favorite one of all. This book was hard to put down.

Forever a Dragon, #5 in the Dragon Archive series, is another fabulous book! It is filled with a wonderful cast of well-developed characters, a storyline with unexpected twists and a surprise ending, and a passionate yet clean romance. This book is a great addition to an awesome series. I've read them all, and can't wait for the next one!

I was provided an advance copy of this book for my honest opinion. I have loved this series since Book One and the stories just keep getting better and better. Lleland and Lydia didn't start out as traditional couple, but after being introduced by Zach, their affection grew. How he made has s way to Storbrook Castle is an adventure. Their relationship was tested but came out all right in the end. I loved the ending. Can't wait too see what comes next for the Drake brood.

Sweet love story. Fast read. Likeable characters. I really enjoyed the "coming-of-dragon" story. Definitely recommend this next book in the series of dragon stories.
