I love Ryan's MC books. Conquering is the 2nd book in the Vipers Creed MC series. This book didn't disappoint at all. It's raw, dark and gritty. Has a great Alpha male. Chelsea has always taken care of her family. She's worked hard and gave up college to help support her family. She works at a diner and knows most of the guys from the Vipers Creed MC they frequent the diner. She has eyes for one of the patched members Stiff (if you want to know why he's called Stiff you're going to have to read it) but never says a word about it. Stiff is an Alpha male whose known Chelsea for a while and flirts when he's at the diner. Well when chaos shows up on Chelsea's door Stiff will do anything to protect her and her family. Both have a trust issue in regards to the opposite sex. Again I hope there's more books in this series!

Wes ‘Stiff’ Collins is a mouthwatering, delectable hunk of a man #TRUTH I loved reading every word of Conquering. Both Wes and Chelsea have serious baggage to carry. I honestly didn't think a HEA could be pulled off for these two but they turned out to be exactly what each other needed. It was kismet.
Conquering, of course, continues the drama/arc of the Vipers Creed so although it can be read as a standalone in regards to Wes and Chelsea, I do not recommend it if you plan on following the series along. You should read about the club life and all its players from the beginning with any MC story. This one is no different.
I must say, Ryan Michele has surprised me so far with this series because it has continued to be exciting and suspenseful and very sexy without any eye-rolling on my part. So props for THAT! I look forward to continuing the journey of the Vipers Creed and its members!

Wes "Stiff" Collins had no one but his brother Xander who he essentially raised, finding Vipers Creed MC was the family he always hoped to have. Stiff finds himself intrigued by waitress Chelsea Miller who blushes one moment but the next is sassy as can be. When her sister ends up lying on the floor of the restaurant she works out bloodied and Chelsea is being threatened. Stiff steps in and pulls Chelsea and her sister into his protection as well as her family.
Chelsea is conflicted, she is a fighter, her mother and grandmother taught her to stand on her two feet and fight for everything she has. Stiff wants to take care of Chelsea as well as explore the feelings he has for her. When a threat from Stiff's past interferes with his current plans, Stiff finds himself being pulled in all corners. Can Stiff keep Chelsea safe while eliminating the threat?
This was wonderful. I liked that it was not instant coming together between Stiff and Chelsea, there is a build up to their relationship. The heat is there from the beginning but you are not sure where their story will go. Pretty much every book I have read from this talented author has been fantastic and completely different then the next.

This book was full of adventure, danger and passion!!
Chelsea is a waitress trying to get by while helping her younger sister. She has no one else. Her father left her in a pile of debts and now she is in even more danger because of his mistakes.
When her life is threatened, help comes from one of the most unexpected places ever.
Wes, also knows as Stiff, is a member of the Vipers Creed MC. Handsome, rugged and intimidating, he's had his eye on Chelsea for a while. When she needs help, he doesn't hesitate to step forward and offer her his protection.
But Chelsea isn't used to getting help from anywhere and she is reluctant. Will she give in to Stiff's aid or push him away?
I loved the banter between our main characters. Stiff was straight forward and Chelsea was a strong heroine that didn't take anything for granted.
"What can I get you?" I asked, hoping to God my voice wouldn't give my rising temperature away.
"You on the menu?" he asked calmly.
The writing kept me turning the page and I loved every single minute of this wild ride! Do not miss this book if you are a fan of MC books!

Really enjoyed this one! Stiff (loved when when got the explanation for his name) has always taken care of his brother. Chelsea is a hard worker that has always taken care of her family. What happens when two strong people get together.....fireworks!
When Chelsea's sister is hurt, she is brought into the world of Viper's Creed. They protect what is theirs, and Stiff has decided Chelsea is his. Love how the women know how to claim their men too.
The bonus story at the end of X and G was gravy!!!

Man Chelsea is one bad ass bitch. She has worked all of her live to give her mom, grandma and sister a better life. She enjoys what she does even if it is only working in a diner. She has worked there since she was 16 yrs. old and its another family for her.
She has always waited ont the guys from the Vipers Creed MC. Stiff has caught her eye but she thinks she doesn't stand a chance. He gives her shit and she thinks its just because he is a flirt not that he really isn't interested. When her sister ends up beaten by someone who is causing problems for the MC Stiff finally has a chance to make his move.
Tjeu are great together and Stiff realizes he cares for her more than he thought. His one problem for me was that when he made Chelsea his woman he didn't try to stop the woman from making moves on him. If she hadn't stepped in would he have just let it continue?
Loved the little novella at the end with Xander..

Yes I loved this book because yes I love this series although each book can be read as a standalone. I don’t know why you would but you sure can. Ryan Michele has this genre down pat. AND … there is a bonus at the end of Conquering featuring Xander. I don’t know if there is a full length book coming on he and Gabby but we can only hope or at least continue to hear from them in future releases.
Chelsea has worked hard her entire life only to be seriously taken advantage of by her piece of crap father. Her sister, her mother and her Grams are her life. Working at Charlies may not be the most pristine job but its been hers forever and Charlie as been a father figure to her. The man has loved her and treated her right since she walked through those doors for a job all those years ago.
The Vipers MC don’t intimidate her. In fact they are good to her leaving fantastic tips and they certainly aren’t hard on the eyes. The guys are respectful and certainly kind. Chelsea has no time for a man in her life but if Wes (Stiff) gave her the time of day she might just consider a fling. The MC world is something she doesn’t need in her life. Not after the drama her father brought in her life. Safe and stable is her dream along with owning her own home some day.
When Chelsea’s sister is dropped in the diner beaten and barely alive all hell breaks lose. The man she thought would never give her the time of day steps in and takes over. Being who she is Chelsea isn’t ready for someone to boss her around but if it means her sister is safe then she will do what she has to.
This was a great story of two very independent and strong minded characters. I loved Chelsea and how her character was written – she didn’t whine she wasn’t fragile and she knew what her goals were. She was proud of her accomplishments and lived for her family. The things her father put in her life didn’t stop her and she didn’t use them as an excuse. Stiff was a fantastic character as well --- he never waivered stepping into protection mode. He wasn’t over the top but you could easily tell her was all heart. Having his own hardships these two made the perfect couple. I cannot wait to find out more.
Now super extra duper bonus --- uh yeah guess who rolls in --- Trapper! YUP the Devils Due MC – In The Red (Chelsea Camaron) WHAT?!?!?! I know right?!?!?! -- I cant even. We also catch up with Spook and Trixie – The Colonel calls at one point (gross) … but its necessary. Im so in love with these men. Bosco, Boner, Dawg, Hooch … they all are just too good … pick this series up ladies and then grab up the Devils Due MC as well. You wont want to miss either of these. I don’t know what is next but I will be wanting …

As I've said before I'll say it again... Ryan Michele can write some bad ass alpha bikers. This book is no different. From the beginning to the very end I was caught up on the story and characters and couldn't wait to see what happened. Not only with Chelsea and Stiff but the others as well. They are all so very important to each other.
The cover is absolutely stunning! Matthew Hosea perfectly fits Stiff. I mean perfect! Stiff is a hard man to get a read on but once he opened up I fell hard! He's amazing! He's hardcore club life and all about his brothers. The club is his family and no matter the cost he will protect them. He's never wanted a woman until he gets to Chelsea. He's always noticed her but one night shit goes down and he knew he had to have her.
Chelsea is a badass chick! She's independent fierce and full of sass and sarcasm. Definitely my kinda gal! She doesn't trust men. Period. Daddy issues are a bitch and hers are pretty messed up. Granted she didn't let that hinder her or keep her down. She has family that loves her fiercely no matter what. She's always thought Stiff was fine as hell but she had no idea how passionate and alpha he really was. And boy does she have a good time getting to know. Woohoooo! It was hawttttt!
Ryan is freakin brilliant and I love her books. Her MC books are some of my all time favorites and this series is quickly moving to the top. Don't miss out!

I swear these books just getting hotter and hotter! Stiff and Chelsea had known each other for years but never had any interest in one another. All that changes when Chelsea's sister is beaten and left on the floor of the diner that Chelsea works at. This event brings the Viper's Creed MC into the picture to help. Of course there are problems! Chelsea, who has been taught to work hard and be independent, has a really hard time allowing Stiff help. It takes a lot for her to finally start to rely on Stiff.
Going after the men who are after Chelsea's father and hurt her sister is more than personal for Stiff. His mother's addiction and his childhood help drive him. I really love that Stiff understood Chelsea and her need to be self-reliant. That is something that many times the guys in these MC romances don't always get. Stiff is very alpha but not so much that he wants to stifle Chelsea which as I said is refreshing.
All in all this was a great book and I love when past characters show up because then I get the chance to catch up a little. I can't wait for the next one to steam up my kindle because trust me the heat is almost unbearable it's so good!

If you liked CHALLENGED, you will LOVE CONQUERING!!!

Giving sequence to the series, this book tells Stiff' story, formerly known as Wes, who had a hard life as a child and teenager to have to take care of his younger brother, Xander, who grew up and served overseas in the Marines, because their mother was a drug addict who didn't care for her two children.
On the other hand, we have Chelsea, who has been worked for 13 years as a waitress at Charlie's Diner, saving money to buy a house, taking care of her mother, sister Jennifer and grandmother.
When the path of them crosses on behalf of a dealer in common, Stiff takes as his responsibility to protect Chelsea and her sister - and because for some time he has a crush on her but had no opportunity to approach.
Under Stiff and MC's protection, Chelsea gave way to the attraction she feels for him. The dreams of both mix and they have to face a dangerous enemy, make choices that can result in death and plan for a better future together.
I loved reading this book. The pace flowed very well and left a taste of "once more, please".

Under Stiff and MC's protection, Chelsea gave way to the attraction she feels for him. The dreams of both mix and they have to face a dangerous enemy, make choices that can result in death and plan for a better future together.
I loved reading this book. The pace flowed very well and left a taste of "once more, please".

Five Amazing Stars! Chelsea is working as a waitress and taking care of her mother, grandmother and sister. She is an independent women and very protective of her family. Stiff is a member of the Vipers Creed MC and he is also raising his younger brother. Stiff is a strong willed person and very protective of his brother. Chelsea and Stiff know each from the diner where she works. Then something happens to Chelsea's sister, Stiff and his brothers protect her family and this changes things between them. Will Chelsea and Stiff finally let their stubbornness go and have the relationship they both deserve? I loved the chemistry that Stiff and Chelsea had and especially the banter back and forth between them. The author writes a story full of drama and sexual tension. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to more books by Ryan! This is the second book in the Vipers Creed MC series but can be read as a stand-alone novel.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, secrets, lies, and heartbreak.

This is Chelsea and Wes (Stiff)’s story. Wes’s life revolves around the MC. His club taught him how to depend on people to help you and have your back. He would protect the MC with his life even if it meant he had to protect the MC from his own family. Chelsea knows all about hard work. She works to take care of her family and save for her future. When her sister gets hurt everything changes. Now she needs to protect her family no matter what. When two people with so much past baggage come together it will either to be to lean on each other or to explode in a huge mess. Can these two keep it together to have a future or is it about to come to a crashing halt?
I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.

This is the second book in the Vipers Creed MS series, but can be read as a standalone. This is the story about Stiff and Chelsea. Chelsea works at a diner, and Stiff is a patched in member of the Vipers. They have both had a rough upbringing, but that did not deter them from becoming the strong, independent and strong minded personalities which they have developed into. Chelsea has had a crush on Stiff for a long time, and when things take a turn for the worse he is there in full protective mode.
This story is full of angst, fireworks, twist and turns, and hot steamy sex, just a typical MC story lol. I really enjoyed how the characters from previous storylines were incorporated into this one. Ryan has an amazing talent of capturing the reader’s attention, and leaves you feeling a whole lot of emotions on the journey. This author has done a brilliant job in writing this book, and I highly recommend everyone reading this. I cannot wait to read more of her work in the future. Awesome job Ryan!!

Conquering is the second book in the Vipers Creed MC Series by author Ryan Michele. Although part of a series, this book can be read as a standalone novel without getting lost.
Stiff and Chelsea were just the right blend of strength and stubbornness, they fought for what they wanted, and we're passionate about it. They were loyal and fiercely protective of those they loved. For me, one thing that set them above many other couples in the same sort of situations was the fact that they actually communicated.
I loved the fast paced storyline, with just the right mix of humour, intrigue and downright dirty talking bikers, this book had me hooked from start to finish.
I will certainly be marking this as a one click series.

Ryan Michele has never let me down when it comes to MC, and this time was no different.
I really enjoyed this book. I love seeing characters that we met from previous books, as well as new characters.
I love how Ryan twists up the plot every time, and keeps me guessing on what's going to happen next. I'm excited to read the next book in this series.
If you are new to the Vipers, and love MC, definitely give this series a read.

Stiff steps up and knows he has to protect her. Tired and exhausted the last thing Chelsea expected was the ghost of her father to come back to hurt her and her family yet again. Stiff and Chelsea's story is one filled with danger, love, betrayal and lots of heat. Great story that kept me on my toes and guessing what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship between Chelsea and her family. Her Grandma is a spitfire and I loved her. This is just a continuation of a great series but is a stand alone. Highly recommend this book and this author, she truly is a master at writing MC Romance.

Another Ryan Michele Book!!! Yes, please :)
I loved Chelsea and Stiff. I felt the chemistry between them and was glad Chelsea's inner thoughts didn't take over when she started questioning Stiff's loyalty because GOD, do I hate that!
Of course there are a few eye rolling moments like how shitty their parents were and the connections between them (like Spook and Trix). Overall I really like this series.
BUT, while I liked the novella at the end, some of it didn't make sense. Most of it happened before the events in the book we just finished. In the book Zander talks about proposing to his woman but then for half the book he has a unique connection with Chelsea's sister, Jen and spends a ton of time with her. Then at the end he again talks about proposing to Gabby. It was odd. I would have rather have seen a bit more of Gabby in the book or for him to have ended up with Jen, although I really like Gabby. The connection and time spent with Jen served no purpose.

Yes! More bikers! All I can say is this series is chock full of bikers and they are alpha to the core.

Chelsea's life is her family and protecting what's hers. After something happens within her circle she has to figure out how to protect everything from the outside. Can she do it?
As with the first book in this series I wanted in right away and I loved it. MC is my favorite and I will willingly dive into a book with some badass biker alphas.

Really enjoyed this book. I'm loving this whole series. Enjoyed the bonus at the end about xander and gabby. Stiff is a great character and I loved how he looked after everyone. Chelsea was the best female character I've read in a while, she was smart , funny and didn't take any crap she was fire..........

REALLY ENJOYED THIS ONE!
Stiff and Chelsea were very likable characters. Both were strong personalities and headstrong to the point that they clashed but not in a bad way! There was such a lot of storytelling in this book that it’s impossible to cover it all. Suffice it to say this is worth every word in its pages.

STIFF AND CHELSEA
Not as dirty as other MC books I have read. Still I enjoyed reading about the Vipers Creed. I had questions at the end because some of the actions mentioned weren't resolved. Lots and lots of sex, not much about how the club functioned.

An ok story, great narration. Again, like book 1 in this series there wasn't quite enough action and drama and once the action happened it was resolved too easily, in my opinion. Didn't hate it, didn't love it.

This was a great read. I enjoyed that Chelsea was strong and not a door mat, she knew what she wanted and stood strong. Stiff was able to handle her and stood with her. Loved these two.
