This was a short novella about Gage and Raven and seeing how they are doing now that they've gotten more comfortable living together. Though it is quick read, there is a story behind it.
Gage is still his bossy sexy self and Raven is still a sassy, stubborn chick that gives it back to Gage as hard as he gives it to her. It's so clear to see the love they have for each other has only intensified and gotten hotter. One of them is holding out on a secret that could destroy what they have built together, leaving them to make a hard decision. Will the truth come out or one of them watch the one they love walk away?
Like I said, it's quick read but with plenty of S*E*X*Y time!! Hang on tight, this of one heck of a wild ride you will be taking with Gage & Raven. ~ Kara, 4 stars

Ah, finally! A happy ending. Well, even then they had to cross several hurdles to get there and it was touch and go. I've come too love Raven and Gage, and I can't wait to read more about the Death Dealers. It is definitely a good MC series to read. This is a short novella so it can be read very quickly in line sitting but it finishes Raven and Gages journey nicely.

HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS!
If you're not reading Alana's books you are definitely missing out because they will rock your world. This book is short and kind of sweet but with a lot of HOLY CRAP! That's SMOKIN HOT moments! Lol. You must read Alana's Death Dealer's MC trilogy before reading this novella. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS TRILOGY TO EVERYONE! Gage and Raven are two characters that couldn't be more meant for each other. These two go through so many trials and tribulations and always come back stronger. And you should most definitely check out her other books. Thank You Alana for this. But I still want more and you know what I'm talkin about! Lol. Much love to you.

I absolutely fell in love with Gage and Raven throughout the first three Death Dealers books, and really did not want to stop reading about them! For a novella Deception is very thorough and well written, I was happy to get a little more Gage and Raven action as well as a family starting for them. I love the emotion Alana is able to give her characters, and the suspense as well as thrilling action she is able to pair with the romance-- these books are a fast but amazing read! I hope there are more Death Dealer books to come, especially for Tek and Razor (hint hint)

I can't get enough of Gage and Raven! They are such an amazing couple. Their road to the altar is a little bumpy, but it's what makes their story even better. I was mad at Gage for the way he acted towards Raven, but also at her for not thinking she could be honest with him. I was happy when Gage came to his senses and realized there is no life without Raven.

Short , but so sweet.
And i actually cried reading about them missing each other. That's how much they got under my skin.
It's a perfect ending for a perfect story , so i am happy and content.
Now i am curious about Einstein and Ellen , so i will be reading their story.

Although I like the story, not the serial with cliff-hanger parts, however, this last short story seemed added to just add problems for the couple.
It was emotional and dangerous with an ending all romance readers will love. It was a good story but doesn't change my opinion on serials.

Awesome ending to Gage & Ravens story

A short little novella taking place a few months after the end of Claimed. Gage and Raven are trying to get pregnant, but with no luck yet. Once the reason why is discovered, could it be the end of Rage or will they push through it together?
I enjoyed this although I thought Gage was a bit of an ass at certain points. These two are still a great couple to read about though.

Gage and Raven’s story continues, and Deception is another affirmation that I can’t get enough of them. Their love is tempestuous with highs and lows in this latest novella. Their chemistry is still off-the-charts hot. While Gage is still every bit the alpha male that we have fallen in love with in this series, we see a vulnerability in him that is new, but completely endearing. I didn’t think it possible, but I fell in love with him all over again with this book!

They aren’t done with secrets and after all they have been through, are still capable of hurting each other. Ironically, I can’t imagine their journey any other way.

For readers who haven’t gotten enough of Gage and Raven in the Death Dealers series, this is the perfect antidote. We get everything we love about these characters and so much more! Suspenseful twists and turns brings them full circle to an ending that I didn’t realize I’ve been waiting for. Loved every moment in this page-turning novella!

I absolutely love the death dealer’s series! This is the fourth book in the death dealer’s series. I can’t get enough of Gage and Raven; I want loads more books about them. But that is just me being greedy.
