Marple, Poirot, Pyne… et les autres

Rate this book

Nice and cozy.

Strange Jest: Funny and amusing, if a bit predictable. A miss Marple, not as dramatic as the regular Marples; not a murder mystery, still clever. (6/10)

The regatta mystery: A parker pyne, my first encounter with him, in fact, this one ... was an amusing short, somewhat not very memorable though. (5/10)

Problem at Pollensa bay: Parker Pyne, I di not enjoy this one much. (4/10)

Next to a Dog: Interesting one. Cute. (5/10)

Sanctuary: Ooh, I liked this one quite a bit, this one i will re-read, along with the next Marple, i think.

Miss Marple tells a story: Smol revenge plot, interesting murder mystery, will re-read this one. (8/10)

The love detectives: Harley Quinn, will re-read too, eventually, it is neat as well, somewhat predictable details.(6/10)

The jewel robbery at the grand metropolitan: Classic poirot, re-assessing assumptions and a nice hand trick, some real Hercule Poirot arrogance too ... (8/10)
