Consequences is another fantastic book from Brenda Burling. This storyline follows on from the prequel, Deceived, and picks up some years later where twins Phoebe and Alice are now adults. Does history repeat itself? What does the future hold for Phoebe, who now shares a similar lifestyle to that of her mother, fifteen years earlier. What other secrets will be uncovered - and who are the strangers that visit her father’s grave? Consequences is an intriguing read from the very beginning and keeps you hooked to the very last page.
