When Tara White met young, handsome billionaire Colton Boswell she felt she had met the man of her dreams. She knew he was a playboy and she knew that one night with him was likely to be only the one night.
But for her it was so worth it.
However, Tara had no idea that the one night with Colton would turn into much more than she ever bargained for.
Especially since she was totally unaware that her one night with a billionaire was actually one night with a BEAR and there would be huge repercussions for the both of them...
This is a paranormal billionaire romance featuring a handsome shapeshifting WereBear and a curvy heroine. There are scenes of a sensual and passionate nature included in this book, so please only read if you are 18+.
Jasmine White has a huge passion for writing romance with a Paranormal edge to it. She is especially fond of shifters and is the proud co-owner of the "Simply Shifters" blog along with her long time best friend Jade White.
Her paranormal romances will often feature a hunky shifter in some sort of form and lots of excitement and, of course, bedroom activity!
When she is not writing she loves to snack on baked goods and can not resist a tub of cookie dough ice cream!
Love the Fated Alphas series but this has got to be the worst of the print approvals I’ve ever seen. Random letters wrong words wrong spelling, it’s a hard read at times
I truly enjoyed the storyline with the back and forth. The ending was sweet but to soon. What kept nagging at me is all proofreading that was clearly not done with much or any effort. Just because it is a correctly spelled word does not mean it is the correct word.
I love Tara's stubborn independence and her intent to overlook his wealth. Fantastic story and although paranormal had some very real life similarities.
Setting: NY, NY contemporary Genre: Paranormal shifter romance Tara hooks up with Colton in a one-night-stand to help her deal with the news from her gynecologist that she'll never be able to get pregnant. Of course, her encounter with Cokton leads to pregnancy. I'd say more about it, but I didn't read it all. I skipped about 70% of it. It isn't a bad book. The premise is one of those tried and true tropes that many of us enjoy. The plot is interesting within that scope. The spelling is good, and there are few typos. Any errors in grammar were small and easily corrected in the read. There are some inconsistencies, but they're easy to slide across and forgive. But the reason I couldn't read it all is that it is stilted, artificial, and uncomfortable. And it would be such an easy fix. What I am talking about is that the author does not seem to understand contractions. she does not seem to get that people do not speak in this stilted way. It is appropriate to forego contractions when one is writing a formal paper, but unless a character is not a native speaker, they're going to use contractions. I know this sounds petty, but it was irritating enough to cause me to put the book down.
This had the feel of a Mills & Boons book. The sex scenes were pretty mild. The basic story was not bad but I was glad to get through to the end. The Hero could be a bit of a conceited dick and the heroine could be a bit painful. The premise that she was infertile but fell pregnant the same night as she was informed of this infertility was to me completely ridiculous. I found most of the story to be firmly in fantasy land where anything could happen. Ok, I sound pretty negative but there were some sweet moments between this couple which were nice. Tara's friend, Gwen was pretty good but she only appeared in the first couple of chapters or so. There is a lot of conflicting parts to the story and I felt by the end that it was not ready for publishing TBH. A couple of good beta readers and another edit would have benefitted the overall reading experience...that's if the author took note of their suggestions.
I found the writing to be a bit stilted at times (normal conversation would have contractions; the speech patterns here did not) but that didn't bother me too much. It did have grammatical errors and spelling errors that were sometimes difficult to read. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't get through it, though. I also found the ending a bit abrupt but it may be just me. Happy that the cost was low enough that I don't feel gouged. The book was enjoyable but I think it could have used more "heart" in the ending. Just my opinion.
A bear investor is lead to a new club by his friends never realising that night changes his life forever .
A woman an her best friend go to a new club after her best friend wrangled her to come after the devastated news from her doctor earlier to cheer her up . As soon as she steps into the club something happens she feels drawn to a man from across the room instantly an he to her as well instantly . At that moment everything changes from two halves to a whole . 18+
Good little story for the price. If you can get past the lack of proofreading the story keeps you pulled in. The ending was a bit abrupt and some details unexplained but in all it was a good read.
Fantastic story, strange ending, but very enjoyable. In the beginning Colton was a big sexy shifter, then a pompous butt, then a wonderful husband. This is a love story that shows how much love can accomplish.
I have read several of this authors books but this has to be my favourite I hope we get some of the other characters stories it would be great to get taras best friend and Walter together
I very m much liked this story. It dealt with the ups and downs of marriage and with children. It showed how love changes over time by getting deeper and never going away. I just wish the ending would not have been so short.
If the premise of the story had been good I could have been more forgiving of the other issues but stilted language, many typos and a weak story and characters combined into a completely forgettable book. Don't waste your time reading it.
