I found this book which was published in 1998 and decided it was worth a look. I’m glad I did. Many noteworthy women were given photos and a brief biographical synopsis. From Mother Teresa to Diana Ross to Cher to Elizabeth Taylor to Billie Jean King… care was taken with diversity and representation. It was nice to visit these gals.

Cool photos. I found that this book focused more on failed relationships and tragedies than world changing moments of strong women of our world. The words on the pages with the photos in the backgrounds were difficult to read at times.

Coffee table light reading. Interesting enough as a starter book to decide what women need further reading on.

This was a really neat book. I think Billie Holiday should have been included though.
