Smokin' Hot Military Romance! After an unhappy childhood, Luke Carter joined the US Navy and has dedicated the last twelve years of his life to the SEALs. But the relentless overseas tours have taken their toll on his mind and body and now he dreams of what life might be like outside the military. Love, romance, his own space—maybe even a family he can call his own.
Juliet Morgan works in the fast-paced world of finance. Beautiful, headstrong and smart, she chooses her career over love and puts all of her energy into her new job—a job she was ‘persuaded’ to take far away from her beloved Manhattan by her rich, overbearing father. She’s not looking for romance, but feels lonely and lost in her new environment so she turns to online retail therapy to lift her spirits and accidentally stumbles across a dating site where she’s awestruck by Luke Carter.
The sparks flicker to a roaring flame with each sizzling message between them—then the battlefield nearly claims Luke’s life and he’s rushed home to the States. Although he’s only an hour away from Juliet, in his mind everything’s changed and his pride gets in the way of the love, passion, and happiness they both so desperately crave.
Can Juliet break down the walls of this irresistible SEAL, or are they both destined to a life of loneliness?

Once again Amanda Heartley sets my kindle on fire with her hot books. Juliet is super upset that she hasn't meet Luke yet. Luke is determined to get healed before he meets her in person. When they do meet WOW!!!!! Trust me after reading this you will want a cold shower! Amanda as always you are such a incredible author you never disappoint.
i received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. *may contain spoilers* i recommend reading book 1 first before reading this one.
Juliet and Luke finally meet but the first meeting doesn't go quite as planned. When Luke finally comes to terms with some things and goes to Juliet things start heading in the right direction for these two. One thing leads to another and next thing you know things are getting steamy for this couple. When Luke is released from the rehab hospital, Juliet happily moves him in with her to help his recovery outside of the hospital. With this big step taken what will happen next for this couple? I cant wait to read the next installment to find out.
Amanda did it again and has you hooked from the beginning with this one. She really captured the emotions of Luke in this one and although i LOVE Luke I couldnt help but just want to throttle him at one point for the way he acted at the beginning but you quickly come to terms with it and understand its all a part of the recovery process. I have read many Seal books and some even with wounded soldiers but this is one of the few that gets you emotionally when it comes to the reactions of the healing process they go through. Great job.
I borrowed Irresistible SEAL, Book 2 from the Kindle Unlimited program.
Luke Carter is back in a VA rehabilitation facility living within an hour of Juliet Morgan and he emails that he does not want to see her. He wants time to learn to walk again and she feels rejected and just wants to meet him.
Her best friend talks her into going to see her and after a rocky start they get to know one another. Luke the hot sexy SEAL and Juliet find a way to get to know one another as he heals not just from his wounds but from the traumatic impact the war had on him. The second book is part of the middle of their story and left the reader up in the air about the two lovers.
Amanda has once again captured my attention with the second book of this series. I feel a connection to these characters and makes me want to become a pen pal for the soldiers myself, not to get with a soldier, but to give them someone outside their family and friends to talk to. Can't wait to read the final book in the series and see how things work out for these two.
Luke is trying his hardest to be able to get up and walk on his own so when he finally meets Juliet it'll be with him walking, not using a wheelchair or crutches. He's frustrated and angry, but really needs to work through all that happened over there.
Juliet is tired of waiting for Luke to say she's able to come meet him, so she goes anyway. He blows up at her but she's determined. Luke comes to her job and apologizes to her and asks her out.
Will he be able to work towards his goals of being able to walk independently and let her in at the same time? What happens after he reaches his goal? Where will he go and how will things work out with Juliet?
Juliet's tired of being shut out of Luke's life while he's in rehab. The day she shows up unannounced does not go well, but it is exactly the incentive Luke needs to put his therapy and future in perspective. The overreaction and apology were done beautifully. The chemistry and attraction between Luke and Juliet is off the charts. Their sexy times will leave you craving more. This was a fun and fast installment. I'm looking forward to book 3. I received a copy of this book for a voluntary, completely honest, and non-incentivized review.
Irresistible SEAL Book 2 By:Amanda Heartley Wonderful 2nd Installment of A Promising Series! Wow! Another Stellar Installment! Yes, This may END in a cliffhanger, but it's so worth reading! This 2nd Installment is a well written, beautiful Romance between a Navy Seal recovering from a traumatic injury, & a financial data analyst in L.A. who's unwilling to let him go... I was granted an ARC Amanda Heartley's "Irresistible SEAL Book 2: A Navy SEAL Romance," via Booksprout; I thoroughly enjoyed this book, & find Amanda to be a talented writer. I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series. I definitely recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given! Until next time... Happy Reading!
Part Two of a four part serial, must be read in order. Rating: Around 3.5 stars.
This installment picks up where Part One left off and I can't help but thinking it should have just all been one novel, but anyway... It was quite a bit better than the first one in my opinion. Although the story isn't over yet, there was a beginning, middle and end to this part. The writing seemed a bit more solid as well.
Juliet matures and grows as a character more in this part as well. Luke is still by far the better developed of the two though. Their interactions in this part seemed a lot more organic. The book is fast paced, maybe too fast paced, as in order to have certain situations I feel that realism was lost as far as recovery processes go. But it led to some feel good moments, so I'm not totally against having to suspend belief a bit.
Must read if you read the first one, generally a decent read with some hot scenes and good dialogue. I received a copy of this book from Booksprout, my review is voluntarily given.
Just finished reading Book 2. This of course picks up right where Book 1 left off. Luke and Juliet haven't met yet but they have a strong connection.
Juliet found out that Luke was injured and much worse than originally thought but that he was in the US and not far from her. He was reluctant to meet her until he was better.
She's excited and ready to meet him and help him. He started to doubt himself and decides he's not ready for her to see him in his current condition. Luke under estimates Juliet's feelings, emotions and her resolve to be there for him. His therapist makes him see things different and he decides to come around.
So emotional and realistic. I absolutely loved it more than I expected. Couldn't put it down. Looking forward to Book 3.

This of course picks up right where Book 1 left off. Juliet found out that Luke was injured and much worse than originally thought but that he was in the US and not far from her. He was reluctant to meet her until he was better. She decides to grab that bull by the horns and goes to visit him. She figures out how to get in. It was a happy first meeting but his physical therapist, Digger helps him see the light. Luke wants to be with Juliet but he wants to be better. He lets her in and they finally get their first real date and it's hot. Luke gets out of the hospital and is moving in with Juliet.
The second installment of Luke and Juliet is just as well written and engaging as the first. The unique long distance online dating makes for a realistic in the now feel for their story. The characters are even more complex as time and interaction between them makes the characters continue to grow and evolve. I look forward to reading the next installment of their story and can’t wait for them to reach their happily ever after. I recommend this one, but only if you start with book one. They must be read in order to truly get the feel for the characters and their story.

This a the continuation of Luke and Juliet's love story. After Luke is wounded and sent stateside to heal and for rehab in Burbank, a mere 15 miles from Juliet. She can hardly wait to meet the man she has fallen I love with. She is all ready to go see him once he lands, but Luke doesn't want her to see him until he is healed and feels like more of a man. The damage to his leg is severe and he will have to learn how to walk all over again. Another quick fast paced read, just wish it had been longer. I can't wait to read the next part.

Juliet has shifted across the country to get away from her overbearing father. She is working in finance and met Luke through a dating site. Luke had a tough childhood, a Navy Seal who was injured while deployed. Juliet wants to visit him in rehab but he hasn’t put her on the visitors list so she barges in to see him. Luke is in the self-pity stage of rehab, but he isn’t aware of how much Juliet wants to find love and have a relationship with him. Do they work things out? Or does Luke push her away?
The second book of the "Irresistible Seal" was more interesting. Luke is wounded and transfered back state-side, but is scared to meet Juliet with him not in top physical condition. Juliet does not want to wait any longer . So we have the first signs of trouble in paradise. and of course there are more difficult situations ahead. Still this book is the honeymoon phase of their relationship. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Amanda picks up where she left off in book 1. In the second book she deals with the pain, anger, uncertainty and determination in both Luke and Juliet. They're developing an emotional connection as well as their physical chemistry. Now they have to work through the fear and nightmares. This is a very heartfelt story that has captured my heart. Onto the next book! I highly recommend reading this book and series.
I only feel I can give each a 3.5 star as as much as I really enjoyed this series I felt like it would have been better as one big book ,I understand each novella is for a different part of their relationship but it just made this story not flow as well. In this book we see Luke struggle with being back home and less of a man and Juliet struggle with what to do to help him.

This is part 2 of Juliet and Luke and if you have read the first book you willl be unable to pass this second book up and the characters are so good. These two a very strong emotional connection. After tragedy strikes these two have a lot to work though but will they find their way back to happiness. Short read but great.

Luke has been back for three weeks and hasn;t gotten in touch with Juliet. Juliet is really torn in two about the whole situation. Here she is only about 10 minutes or so from Luke and she;s so conflicted. She decides to take her boss's suggestion to just go. She goes and things get a bit out of hand and it;s hard for her. This storyline just gets better and better....can;t wait for the next installment

The story of Juliet and Luke continues. Luke is overwhelmed by his fear of what Juliet will think when she knows about his injuries. He wants to get better but some days it is just impossible. At the same time, Juliet thinks about how Luke would feel all alone in the hospital. I like how the author tells us how the soldiers feel when they get back home injured. Looking forward to reading the next installment. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
Mystery and burning love. The characters are intense. The love growing and the fear of it who knows. I read this in one sitting. A cant put down till its over good book. The feelings and fears combined with wanting and yearnings are so moving. You get pulled unlike your there watching live.
In the second book of Juliet and Luke's story has lots of emotional tension. Pride and frustration are the cause of much turmoil and drama between these two. The steam factor increases in this book and a real relationship begins to form but they are still far from the finish line and more drama and tests are coming.
The second book of Luke and Juliet's story which has drama and is emotional. This book picks up right where book one left off. I can't wait to read book three to find out what will happen next for Luke and Juliet.

It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You won't be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.

Second part of this series. You have to read them in order. Well written. Great storyline. About accepting yourself and open up to others. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. It is engaging and recommendable.
Finally they meet and sparks fly - some good and some bad. I still feel as if there are still secrets that are left to be uncovered. Maybe because nothing much happens in this book other than their meeting among other things. It wasn't much of a book given the length - 89 pages. Somewhat disappointed and disillusioned as that is a pet peeve of mine.
I got this book for an honest review. A story of a sailor who was hurt and in rehab. A girl he met on line came to see him, he didn't know how to handle things. He tod her to go away. They finally get together with hep of his therapist. A very good book.
Hot, Hot, hot. Very hot. But they seem to be connecting on another level also. I don't like the interruptions going from one to four books when you could have just one. That to me is the bad part. I received a free review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
This is part two of this book and we are still with Juliet and Luke. He’s home but not ready to see her. She’s quite determined though. There’s no denying their attraction towards each other is SIZZLING! Looking forward to part three.
This is book two and continues from where book one left off they have a lot to be resolved with his injuries, and how he feels. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
