From Best Selling Author, Ali Parker comes another great story from Providence University...

Jacob Wright is president of the largest fraternity on campus, and he’s known as a lady killer, and a bit of a slut. He wears his badges proud and never leaves anyone with the pretense that he’s something he’s not. Having to balance working at his father’s restaurant with school and soccer has become almost impossible, but there’s a new reason for wanting to show up – Emily.

Emily Campbell has heard all about Jacob Wright and his unruly ways. There’s not too many girls on campus that don’t wish for a night in his bed, but Emily can’t imagine why. He’s impossibly sexy, but that only goes so far. After taking a job at the local pizza parlor on campus, she realizes that she’s going to get a large dose of the frat boy and his wild ways.

Jacob might think that Emily is willing to play his game, but she’s going to throw out a flag and call it like she sees it – Offside.

18+ Explicit sexual content, possible foul language and violence.

**HEA - these novels are all within the Pro-U series, but are about different couples at the university and should stand-alone.

Jacob Wright can't settle for just one woman. After getting hurt and abandoned by her own mother, he set out to conquer life with his stepdad by his side and savoring every girl that catches his eyes. But if there's one woman he really wants from the beginning, that would be Emily Campbell. Too bad she's already taken by the cheating bastard star player, Brody.

This book is one heck of a ride. I was so shocked by all the events and the steamy scenes, I had to cover my eyes from reading them. I know I've mentioned before that I love Ali Parker and have read most of her books. Now, I don't know what to say. Oh girl, this had been too much, I couldn't keep up! The scenes here were really graphic and mind-blowing, I thought I'd have a heart attack from all those things Jacob and Emily did. I swear, Offside will put Fifty Shades to shame. Great job, Ali Parker!

P.S.
This book is not for the faint of heart. Trust me, you could die any moment while reading this. Don't say I didn't warn ya...

Another entertaining read by this sister/brother duo. They bring strong characters in Emily and Jacob and weaves an enjoyable story. It's brought to life with their descriptive and detailed writing. It's well written ,moves fluidly and I enjoyed reading.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

This was an okay read. Emily made some dumb choices and it drove me nuts. Jacob was so nasty to people that I never really cared much for him. The good news is that in the end they got their happy ending. Emily definitely deserved one after everything she had to deal with.

Offside is book 2 in the Pro-U series, it's soccer superstar Jacob & Cheerleader Emily's story.

Can the biggest Man Whore of the frat house settle with 1 girl. Can Emily forget his past & move forward with him.

I really liked Jacob when we briefly met him in Breakaway & was over the moon that Ali decided to make him book 2. I love Ali Parker's books & would never hesitate to recommend her books.

Pretty good, a little steamy, decent characters, easy read

The flow was pretty good. It did not take too long to move through the story. Not what I would call a slow burn. Sometimes slow burns are good. If you are in the mood for a good pace then this book has it. It’s not too fast though. The dialogue and scenes flow well. A few inconsistencies but not enough to spoil it. The female lead character is decent enough to like although I wondered about her motives and her mind set when it came to boys. But she wasn’t overly wishy washy. She could have been a little stronger in her mindset and independence. Steamy scenes... not as much detail as I would like but it got into the sex scenes enough to keep me reading. The sex scenes focused more on the acts happening and not enough on the feelings and sensations during sex. Overall decent read.

I received a free copy of the steamy college based novel Looking to Score: Providence University book 2: Emily and Brody aka Offside by Ali Parker and this review was given freely.
An easy flowing story with some frank language. This novel features some close supportive friendships, an attraction/love that spans three years, some strong family bonds, and a happy ending that balance out the negative themes of abusive- dependent relationships, alcoholism, drugs and sex. Pro-U Juniors, cheerleader Emily Campbel, her basketball team roommate Natasha/ Tasha, and Jacob Wright the president of Omega fraternity, captain of the Friars soccer team & Olympian struggle with self esteem, finances, college social life and family drama as they focus on becoming the best at their chosen sport.

That was a lot of fun. I really liked the second chance vibe of this story. The chemistry between our leading couple was pretty irresistible and I think it almost shorted out my reader. I loved seeing Emily learn that she was worth so much more than the relationship she had been stuck in. And it was a joy to watch Jacob crack open the shell around his heart and reform his sleeping around ways for the right woman. My only real issue is the point where the book ends. It kind of felt like it stopped before the story was completely over. At least we get a happy for now, and I’m hoping that I’ll get to see some more of Emily and Jacob’s story in the rest of the books in the series.

Looking to Score, book two in The Providence University series follows Fraternity president and captain of the Soccer team Jacob Wright, and cheerleader Emily Campbell. After a night of drinking, Emily finds herself having a one night stand with Jacob, only to realize later what a terrible mistake it was and vows to stay away from Jacob. Now it’s been three years and she is working for Jacob’s father and dating football player Brody Jackson, and though it looks nice to the outside world, Brody treats her horribly. But when Jacob comes to her rescue, will Emily be able to ignore the remaining feelings she has for Jacob from that night years ago? And with both of their past issues with trust, can they really move forward together?

Looking To Score #2 08/31/2020

Emily is in a bad relationship with this guy because he’s rich but she is really trying to belive he’s a nice guy, but he’s not. Jacob has liked enforcing three years but he’s a man who’re and he knows she to nice for him. But he just can’t stand her being with that jerk. So one night at a party at Jacobs frat house he try’s to open her eyes about her boyfriend by letting her walk in on the guy with three girls. But it’s not that easy for her to leave the jerk. Because she doesn’t have anywhere to go and no money. So enjoy the read and see how they work it out and find their way to each other !!

I loved this book. I cannot wait to read more in the series. Ali Parker story telling is fantastic, and I love how she introduces the secondary characters, in a unique way that makes me excited to read upcoming books in the series.

I thought after book 1 that Lucas and Aubrey would be my favorite couple, but I absolutely fell in love with Emily and Lucas.

I cannot wait for book 3!

The test of time

I like how the author brought these characters to life and made you see why they were like the way they were with their feelings. It took time but they did get together and I would recommend this as any of this authors books to anyone who likes a good love story!

Heroine was a bit morally annoying- calling the hero a ‘manwhore’ But staying and sleeping with her previous bf despite his cheating, because she was poor and he paid for her books and uniform, and let her live with him rent free...

Great story

These two with their love story and their s**ual tension are fire. It all started 3 years previously with just one night, but they are meant to be. He won his girls heart after a lot of drama in those 3 years.

Soccer Player meets Cheerleader

Jacob - The captain of his college soccer team and head of his frat house - Jacob has a lot to juggle between school, soccer, summer camp and working to pay off school. Jacob is portrayed as a player and a great soccer player.

Emily - who we saw in Breaking the Ice is a sweet girl who has her own issues to deal with. Her dad left her family when she was young, she has a manwh*re of a boyfriend, and her mom is an alcoholic who has custody of her little sister.

Emily and Jacob had a one night stand three years ago that no one knows about. Emily couldn’t believe she drank so much and had a one-night stand with Jacob that she gave up drinking and stayed away from Jacob. Three years later she is now the girlfriend of Brody - star of the football team. Let me just say - I COULD NOT STAND BRODY AT ALL. Just ugh. Emily stays with Brody even though he treats her horribly because she is financially broke and Brody pays for her books and her cheerleading fees.

Even though Jacob sleeps with a lot of girls and is almost as big of a manwh*re as Brody, deep down all he really just wants is Emily. Jacob has women issues because his mom left him with his stepdad when he was young and never knew who his biological dad was.

Emily and Jacob both have to deal with their issues separately and together in order to have their happily ever after.

Side notes: loved Micah (he’s the best friend everyone should have), can’t wait to see Layla and Tasha’s stories. LOVED getting to see Aubrey and Lucas again.

I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review

Welcome back to Providence University where the college kids don't just party their time away but deal with some serious adult issues. Book 2 is Jacob Wright, star player of the soccer team and manwhore extraordinaire and Emily Campbell cheerleader. Emily feels stuck with her rich douche of a boyfriend because yes he pays her way through school where scholarships don't cover. Growing up with a single mother that thinks a bottle is more important than her daughter's will force her to survive anyway she can to better herself. Jacob has severe trust issues where women are concerned after his mother cheated on his stepfather and left them both. Both are complex people that show a side of themselves that are expected but show each other their true selves. One night their freshman year connected Jacob and Emily in a vulnerable way leaving them to fight their feelings and attraction. When an indecent happens at a frat house party and Emily alibis Jacob their attraction only grows. Can these broken young adults find their way to trust?? The chemistry is definitely there in spades but can they build a strong foundation to overcome their obstacles?? I highly recommend this story where you witness these young adults grow into mature and responsible people. High five to Ali and Weston Parker for giving us a look into these college students lives. Looking forward for the next story of an unexpected couple and the featured sport. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorites collection.

So here we are at Providence Uni once again with hot sportsmen and women. If you've read book 1 [then you definitely should] you will recognise many of the characters including Aubrey and Lucas whose story was told in book 1. I like reconnecting with characters - especially when they are so well developed like the ones Ali and Weston Parker have created for us. This book is about Emily and Jacob who had a one night stand together three years ago but were both too afraid to make the necessary commitment for a relationship. They both come from poor families financially and are struggling through college to make ends meet. Emily is in an abusive relationship with awful Brody and Jacob has to come to her rescue. Everyone else can see that they belong together but will they make it. I love Tasha, Layla and Micah and hope to be able to read their stories too in this series. I also hope that Jacob's Dad gets his own HEA as he is a sweetheart. This is a compelling book that I was drawn into very quickly and just 'had to' find out what happens to them. Roll on book 3!! I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!
Just loved this so much, that even though I’d been given a copy, I just had to purchase my own!

Great book

I loved that the guy was good underneath and still so hot and that the girl made him a better person. I didn't want to stop reading. Catches your interest to see what the characters do next. Going to read the first in the series for sure.

Providence University series is getting hotter and hotter by the minute. Looking to Score is part 2, and Ali Parker and Weston Parker are scoring higher and higher with it.

This time around these 2 awesome authors brought soccer to the masses and it couldn't not be more perfect.
The style of the story is fascinating and beautifully written, it may contain an small trigger to some but it was perfectly handled.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
In this story, we get to experience along with the main characters, Emily and Jacob, the passion that they have towards their own sports, his for soccer and hers for cheerleading.
We get to live with them, the pain and sacrifices each has to make in order to fight for what they both want.

The emotional journey that Jacob experienced as a child, made him put up a wall around his heart and have trust issues where women were concerned.

The abusive journey that Emily goes through, made her do things no one in the right mind or situation should do which led her to believe she isn't good enough to do better than what she has.

This story will have you questioning if they make it through or not, that's how good it is. And, this satisfying and entertaining story will leave you hot and wanting for more.

I can't wait for the continuation of this Series, I highly recommend it!!
