I'M NOT STOPPING UNTIL SHE'S MINE LOGAN I didn’t plan on Nicole in my life. But when she came in, she turned my world upside down in the best way possible.
Until I f***ed up. Until I knocked her up. And got locked away like an animal.
When I got out, I find out they went after my girl.
That’s a line you don’t ever cross.
I’m going to right my wrongs. Bury every bastard who dared to lay a finger on her And when I’m done with them, I’m going to make her mine.
NICOLE I paid the price for my father’s sins.
I thought Logan would be my savior. I thought he was going to rescue me.
I should’ve known better.
Now I'm in too deep... and I don't know if I can--want to--get out.
Logan is a full-length, standalone romance novel with steamy hot sex, no cheating, strong language, an HEA ending and NO CLIFFHANGERS. Contains dark and disturbing themes, and over the top sexiness that may be uncomfortable for some readers.
Nicole works at her father's diner and her father's diner is neutral, the town has three MC's, The Devil Kings the Iconoclasts and New Crusaders and Hamilton's Diner provides a neutral zone, a place where all three MC's can come and go freely and this is because her father Chuck can keep a secret so they all feel safe. And this is how it's been for years but now Chuck is missing and Nicole is worried that huge poker debts have made him turn rat and sell out the other clubs to the Devil Kings. As if this wasn't enough to worry about there's Clay, he was brought in by Chuck to work at the diner and somethings just not right with him plus he won't leave Nicole alone, insists she's going to be his even though she can't stand him. Weighed down with stress over her father and Clay she looks up and Logan Kirkwood the VP of the New Crusaders is striding into the diner his reputation precedes him but she's surprised at how young and hot he is, could Logan be her saviour. I enjoyed this read and it's certainly busy you won't be bored here in fact if anything there's a little too much story at times.
Star Ratings: Heroine (Nicole): 20s Hero (Logan): 20s Plot: 2/5 Grovel: none Cheating: none HEA: yes with baby Triggers: h was sexually assaulted by colleague, OW drama
Average score: 2/5
Best Line: “Because I love her.”
Worst Line: H to OW after fucking the h: “Everything’s great,” Logan said, giving her a quick kiss on the lips. “You are gorgeous as always.”
Personal Review: This was a MC romance between two very unrealistic and unbelievable characters. The blurb was very misleading.
Random Ramblings: •I was expecting this story to dive right in and start from the blurb but it didn’t •A date at a strip club…really?
•Both the h and H seemed immature for their age but not annoyingly so •The H really got off on the h feeling jealous •I felt sorry for Danny
Overall Feeling: I feel cheated out of a good story because the blurb led me to believe that we would start the story at a certain point and it didn’t so my frustration increased every chapter waiting for the actual story to start…and it did…around 80% into the book
Nicole and her father run an MC neutral diner. When her father is abducted, she seeks the help of Logan, VP of the New Crusaders. They are instantly attracted to each other. Nicole is not as sweet and innocent as she initially appears. She has grit and involves herself in situations where normally would not be acceptable. This book moves fast and there are allies and adversaries at every turn.
It was a great read. It had great characters and a story line that will keep you reading. It's going to be a great series to follow. It has a lot of action. Rated very good
This book was great! I love the emotions and I hated parts that made me saddened to know that they had to happen for the story. Great job Brook Wilder!
well oh my, I was not expecting any of that. Reading the blurb I thought 'alright I'll read it' expecting it to be okay. What I didn't expect (no offense) was to absolutely adore it. There was so much emotion and turmoil and angst. I've just finished it and I'm still in shock. I hardly ever cry but some parts of this book just made my cry like a baby missing it's mama. I can't get over it. I never write reviews but there was just something about this one that I have to share my opinion to the world. the beginning of the book was a bit slow for me but then it suddenly began to gain speed and didn't seem to stop. I couldn't put the book down for fear I'd somehow miss the action. I had planned on going out today and do things, well those plans will have to be postponed until another day because this book was far too addictive. And don't even get me started on the sex, normally I like a little bit more wooing but for some reason Logans actions didn't bother me. yes there was some problems within this book but I adore it too much time even fathom to give it anything less than 5 stars. THANK YOU BROOK FOR THE AMAZING BOOK!
One little town in Texas is the setting for 3 MCs and all out war. The New Crusaders and the Iconoclasts are happy with the division of town and business but the Devil Kings are gearing up for a major attack. Hamilton's Diner is neutral ground, or it was until now. Nicole Hamilton is the h and her search for her missing dad, Chuck, leads her to Logan Kirkwood, VP of the Crusaders.
The h/H hook up and fireworks occur. But too much MC business keeps them running from one crisis to another. There is also a sociopathic stalker after Nicole. The ultimate battle occurs after a lot of skirmishes and kidnappings.
There is no cliffhanger, an epilogue gives the HEA, there is hot sex, loyal brothers, rehabilitated rats, beatings galore, a smart mouthed heroine and a hero with a soft side. I enjoyed the entire story. I like that the good guys don't live charmed magical lives but rather reality happens. Friends die. This seems more like a real MC than some I've read where they get everything all the time and only suffer a scratch or graze in battle.
Enter the world of unapologetic MC brotherhood. where a cut (kutte) spells fellowship and loyalty and losing or gaining your patch is as much a part of who you are as your family history.
Logan is a lifer member of the New Crusaders MC, one of thee MC chapters operating in and around Castillo. The neutral territory is Hamilton's Diner, run by widower Chuck and his lunch fiery red-head daughter Nicole.
There is a great intro to this world of beards, beer, bunnies and bust-ups. But Nicole is set on Logan as her man and battles through the psycho groping and physical assaults of Clay, fellow worker, her father's kidnapping, gun battles and hostage situations.
A good read, not too much sexy stuff - clearly the start of an engrossing series.
The Blurb is not representative of the book much. So disregard. The book is SOA light. Logan is a haphazard VP of a MC and his president comes up dead. Nicole is waitress at her dad's diner of which is declared neutral property with two other MC's in nearby places. Nicole's dad got in a mess with one of the other MC and was kidnapped. Logan gets involved. Why? That was a real risk and it never seemed he was that into Nicole at that point. So I sort of lost respect at this point.....but one star for hot cover...fix the Blurb.
I have to say I liked Logan and Nicoles' story. Nicole's dad gets kidnapped by a rival MC and she enlists Logan's help to get him back. At first they fall in lust with each other and then in love with each other as they race to save the town and club. This wasn't a bad read except for the grammar. There was several occasions that the author had actually called a character by the wrong name. The grammar/spelling wasn't too good in the beginning of the book but got somewhat better toward the end.
It was a good story even though it seemed to be a different story than what the blurb said. There were moments that were unbelievable like being called an old lady so quickly and there were several instances that the author wrote "chuck" instead of "Clint" so I had to do a double take a few times. Overall not bad though
I will start by saying that I like mc books that are filled with bad stuff and bad people. I do not like the biker guy to be sweet or nice. I don't want there to be insta love. This had both which is why I gave it two stars. It was more a sweet love story with some bikers than a biker book with a little romance.
I liked this book but it just seemed like all the rest of MC books. I want something different. Not saying this book is bad. I liked these two together. And a lot more towards the end. This book has plenty of drama and sex and action.
I can't wait to read more from this author. I love everything about this book. Great read!!!!. Logan & Nicole were great together. So sad parts and twist & turns.
I liked this book because the characters feelings were fully transferred to me through the descriptions and that was something that gave the book that extra necessary push for me to like it.
The plot twists were ok. I liked Logan and Nicole the sex was not over done it was tasteful. The action was ok but kinda predictable. Over all it was a good read.
