A special two-book set exclusively available to Amazon.com Lauren Myracle's bestselling novels told in instant messaging, ttfn and ttyl .

The runaway bestseller now in paperback! The first novel told entirely in instant messages!

Lauren Myracle follows the friendship of three fifteen-year-old girls-Angela (SnowAngel), Maddie (mad maddie), and Zoe (zoegirl)-through the roller coaster ride of tenth grade, with its boy temptation, donut runs, driving lessons, math torture, and queen bee encounters. The winsome threesome handles it all...then life suddenly jumps the tracks. A jerky boy sends peppy Angela into the dumps. Tough Maddie makes a mistake that has the whole school talking. And good girl Zoe ends up in over her head with a flirty teacher. Just when they need one another most, their friendship seems ready to fall apart.

The distinctive voices of the three girls, as captured in their IMs, give this novel authenticity and heart. It's an epistolary novel for the twenty-first century, from the keyboard of an author whose work has been called "enchanting...uplifting" ( VOYA ), "unusually candid" ( Publishers Weekly ), and "insightful" ( The Denver Post ).

Sequel to the New York Times best-seller ttyl .

This sequel to the breakout bestseller, ttyl (a novel told entirely in instant messages), follows Maddie, Zoe, and Angela through their next year in high school, 11th grade. There's trouble and lots of IMs ahead for the Winsome Threesome.

Angela has just found out that her family is moving to El Cerrito, California, and she seriously doesn't know how she'll survive without her best friends. Maddie makes some really bad moves with Clive, a pot-smoking hipster who wants to be "friends with benefits." And Zoe finds herself falling for Doug, the sweet poet who has had a crush on Angela forever, a crush that Angela has come to count on.

Lauren Myracle has concocted another funny, touching look at the rocky road of real friendship--bumpy, nutty, and marshmallow-sweet.

I LOVE these books!!! These books show how teenagers talk nowadays on the computer, and I love the fact that someone decided to make books about it. It shows how our internet language is so different from our real language because we shorten so many letters in a word when we talk online. Overall, I really enjoyed this book because it reminds me of just chilling at home and talking to friends online. I think EVERYONE can definitely relate to these books, because I am sure everyone has said 'ttyl' or 'ttfn' at least once when on the computer.

I remembered having to do a book report in middle school and I could choose any book that was considered school appropriate so I went to the YA section. At the time I got this book from the library (which was many years ago so I’m not sure if it’s changed) there was no indication on the outside of the contents within the book. Yes the matters of this book are important for young girls to talk to their parents and learn about but the way the problems were addressed in this book sends the wrong impression entirely. This book is like if Colleen Hoover was a children’s writer but forgot she was writing a kids book halfway through. This book border line glorifies pedophilia hand the girls in the book don’t ever understand the consequences of their actions. *Spoiler* if you or your daughter are thinking about reading this just know there is a relationship between a girl who isn’t even 16 and her teacher.

it was a very interesting book. I Learned that when the girls were together they never wanted to leave each others side. I aslo understood that there was lots of drama (not that much(smiley face)). but the most important part was that they were together always.

Cute, but honestly I don't think this is how teenagers type nowadays. Sure, I did read this somewhere in 7th or 8th grade, but even then, none of my friends nor I typed in 'txt-talk'.

That was just my main thing. It annoys me when there aren't proper sentences. But if you get past that, it is a pretty interesting read, dealing with typical high-school teenage girl problems, like boys, flirting, school cliques, friendships, etc. I completed the three books in the series in a single week. The story format is limited -- it's entirely in I.M. (instant-message) form, which greatly simplifies matters.

I was going to pick these up for a re-read at the library a couple of weeks ago, but it turned out that I didn't have my card on me. I will probably re-read these for fun soon.

they are good. confusing bc you only know what they talk about when they are on IM, so a lot of things get left out, and then they will talk about and you are not sure what is going on, though it will get explained soon. also there are some weird parts in these books, and some things might not be very appropiate for kids (there are liek drugs and drinking and more...) also, a third one was published, it is called l8r g8r.

I really like this book because it shows us an example of what an averrage teens life is now in days. Texting each other and chating on aim is really what young teens do right now. It is also a really fun book to read because it is not like any particular books that is written in forms of paragraphs and chapters. It is in the style of internet chatting. If you bring this book to school, it is like bringing your computer to school.

I liked these books becuase it was a very unique form of writing a story about an average life of high school girls. I liked how it was in IM form and how she didn't stop at the first book, TTYL, she kept going on. I just got done with TTFN and there was a lot of shockers throughout the story and I'm excited to read L8r, G8.

these books are one of my favorite because i can connect and under stand these books. they talk as in text lingo and as a teenager this is like a second language to us. Not only do these books talk in a dialogue i like but they also tell a story, which involves teenage girls and their problems yet again i can connect to this cause i too am a teenage girl with similar problem.

Well in my opinion and I'm only 12. I thought ttyl and ttfn were good. I feel like these books make you think about how a friendship is so strong that always come back to each other even though Angela moved to California (Sorry if I spoiled it)
