A mysterious protector appears from nowhere and sweeps her into his arms and away from danger…

A drug bust gone wrong, a traitorous mole, betrayal from an unexpected source, and a shootout with drug pushers will not stop DEA Agent Victoria Parsons from doing her job. She is determined to keep lethal drugs out of the hands of children. There's no room for a man in her life, and even if there is, most men can’t handle the danger and unpredictability that come with her job.

Connor ‘Iron’ Murray is in the wrong place at the right time. A chance encounter on a backroad in Texas changes everything. Whether it’s for the best or not remains to be seen. The former Army Ranger has to let go of the bitterness of the past and embrace the possibilities of the future or risk losing the woman he loves.

Great reading

Iron the computer guru finds an injured female DEA agent on the side of the road on his way back from a job. What happens after is a twisty turny ride with the lovely Victoria.

I have been enjoying Iris Abbott's Metal Cowboys series. She writes good, clean, fun romances. The books are not long but the good feeling lasts for a while. I enjoy reading them when I have had a particular "yucky" day. They are a quick pick me up.

Iron and Vicky

This author is 6 for 6 with me on great books! Can't wait to start the next one. Broken trust makes it hard to open your heart. Glad they figured it out.

This was ok. A bit different from the first books where the damsel in distress line has been over used.

I recommend the series to anyone looking for quick reads. These books are less then 150 pages.

I'm curious, if Chelsea was a good friend of Irons and they attended BBQs together, why wasn't she mentioned once in this book?
