PROTECTING CAROLINE... 4 stars
Caroline is a chemist and is moving from California to Virginia. She feels she’s plain and ordinary, people just look through her. On the plane she is seated beside a huge, sexy man. Matthew/ Wolf is leader of his SEAL team and he and three buddies are heading to Virginia to visit a friend. The stewardess brings them drinks and Caroline notices a smell. She tells Wolf and it’s something that was supposed to knock them out. They pretend and then take the terrorist down. But apparently there was more because someone is after Caroline now and Wolf comes back from a mission with a message from Caroline. He rushes to find her because the government has taken her to a safe house. Then the poor woman is kidnapped, beaten, and thrown in the ocean. Can Wolf and his team find her before it’s too late?

Action, suspense, and two people who think the aren’t good enough for the other one. Good story but what bothers me is the dialogue. It confuses me when it’s one paragraph or line and then switches to the other. That’s my hang up. Otherwise a really good story.
***************************
5 stars for PROTECTING ALABAMA
Alabama, a janitor for a realtor company, was a abused as a child. She only talks when asked a question and looks around for her mother before answering. Christopher/Abe is a SEAL and is wanting to settle down after one of his teammates find the love of his life. Alabama, at an office party, saves a bunch of people when the office she works at catches on fire. Abe is one of them she saves and he locates her to ask her out. It takes a while for her to trust him but when she does, he promises to never let her down. When she’s arrested, Abe explodes and doesn’t give her a chance to explain. Alabama is devastated and ends up fired, homeless, and friendless. Can Abe get her to forgive him?

Real sexy story with angst and sadness. No kidnappers, no terrorist just an evil ex and a team of SEALs who are closer than brothers.

* Read as part of the boxed set *

5 stars for PROTECTING FIONA

Hunter/Cookie is a Navy SEAL and is on a mission in Mexico to rescue a Senator’s daughter. They go in to get her and he discovers another woman there. Fiona was taken while on vacation and has been held for three months. Cookie is only expecting one hostage but will do anything to get them both out. Once he gets them back to the States, Fiona is in pretty bad shape so they keep her at a safe house for a couple of days. But her troubles only continue because she is traumatized and having withdrawal symptoms. Can Fiona get past her demons and have a life with Cookie?
Excellent story with action. PTSD and a brave woman and a hunky SEAL. Jungle, human traffickers, and drug runners.
*************************
5 stars for MARRYING CAROLINE
Wolf and Caroline are finally getting married. Caroline would be happy eloping but Wolf wants a big wedding. Cookie didn’t get to plan his wedding so they get him to help with theirs. But of course there has to be something that throws a wrench in their plans. No matter what she has to do, Caroline will become Wolf’s wife that day.

Not long and not a lot I can say without giving anything away. Funny and romantic.

* Part of a boxed set *
Great stories but all of them the dialogue drove me crazy because there was no separating the characters dialogue from each other. Not for sure if that makes since or not.

Protecting Caroline - We start out the series getting to know Matthew "Wolf" Steel. Where do we find him and why? Who is Caroline? We also meet Christopher "Abe" Powers, Hunter "Cookie" Knox, Faulkner "Dude" Cooper, Sam "Mozart" Reed, and Kason "Benny" Sawyer. As three out of the six men get on a flight to see Tex, I really got a great feel about who Wolf is. How does Caroline earn a nickname from the SEALS and what is it? What did she do? I laughed when I realized!!! After Wolf, Abe, and Mozart get called back early, what happens to Caroline? What is truly going on? I was shocked at what I learned. Read and see!

Protecting Alabama - Who is Alabama and what do we learn right off about her life growing up? My heart broke all through Chapter 1 for her. As a teacher, I know it should not hurt to be a child. Who is Adelaide? Watching Hunter protect Alabama from Michelle's comments was something that made me smile. What happens the day after Christopher gets back from a mission? What does he say to Alabama that reverts her back to her mental state and actions as she had before Christopher came into her life? Seeing him cry had me crying. Can Christopher re-earn Alabama's trust? Read and see!

Protecting Fiona - We got a hint of this story at the end of Alabama's story. We also get to follow Hunter "Cookie" Knox in this book. We see how what happened affected him. Where does the team end up going and why? Oh lordy, lordy, lordy.... Fiona, Alabama, and Caroline together is so much fun! I have to say that Fiona is my hero. She continues to surprise me. Read and see what I am talking about!

Marrying Caroline - This story, while sweet, was fricking funny. It was a very quick read! Wait until you see who ends up planning Wolf and Caroline's wedding and what happens.

Protecting Caroline
Holy Wow! I have never read anything by Susan Stoker before. What an introduction. I will definitely need to check out more of her works.

I can't even begin to explain the rush of emotions I experienced while reading. It was such a quick read - I couldn't put it down once I started.

Love Caroline. I am so blown away by her care and concern for a man she doesn't know, hell the men she doesn't know. To put herself into danger to protect them. Incredible, brave, amazing and totally not realizing it!

The men on the other hand, especially Wolf, understand she is amazing and he just loves being with her.

The action and series of difficulties that Caroline finds herself in would undo any woman. She's a strong one for the SEALS.

Protecting Alabama
Alabama had a miserable childhood. Beyond comprehension!  To become the incredible, kind, thoughtful woman she is, is amazing.
Her presence of mind saved a great number of people and brought Abe into her life.
The pain she experiences at yet another who was supposed to love her is so sad. Once again, you run the gamut of emotions while reading the second in the series!

Protecting Fiona
Dear God!  What Fiona endured is more than bears thinking.  Her strength and will power held her together and helped her through her kidnapping.  Cookie's rescue was the beginning of something truly beautiful.  The road still to travel is brutal, but Fiona will succeed with her new family's help.

Marrying Caroline
The team does it together!  Matthew and Caroline are going to get hitched.  Cookie is driving them all nuts with wedding plans. The big day arrives, and as usual, nothing goes as planned and yet it was the best day ever.

All these stories were fantastic.  My heart was in my throat more often than not and the tears were ever present for one reason or another. Emotional, loving, family.

Protecting Caroline
This is my very 1st Susan Stoker Book and I was quite impressed.
Some of the characters names were familiar to me due to reading some of the other books in Her kindle worlds and I and glad that I started this series and can't wait to read about the rest of the characters we met in Protecting Caroline!! Very well done!

Protecting Alabama
Oh my god This book broke my heart from the very beginning but then it got better..... then my heart broke all over again.. and then welllll..... You're gonna have to grab Protecting Alabama and check it out, but this story is quite riveting and I loved seeing all of the characters and catching up with the crew.
I fell in love with this series and can't wait to see what's next!!

Protecting Fiona
Hunter is by far my favorite SEAL.... well so far anyway...
Fiona and Hunter's story is not for the faint of heart and my heart broke for what Fee went through.
I Love that these series all follow the team and we get to catch up on them..

Marrying Caroline
Fantastic Novella bringing all of the Team and their ladies together for what is to be a very unforgettable wedding... Tons of emotions... LOVED it

Great boxset.

I love having a boxset, when you finish one book, you don't have to wait for the next book, but can continue reading.
This boxset is about a team of Navy Seals who, due to the dangerous missions they are sent on, have learned to rely on each other. That has created a unbreakable bond between them all.
In each story of this boxset, the team rescues a woman from gangs, kidnappers and/or slave traders. The women are strong, and although they have been through terrifying ordeals, they are able to find love with the Seals.
The only thing I didn't like was the double names. Each seal had a nickname, and was always called it by the other seals. However, the woman refuse to call them by their nicknames and refer to them by their proper names. I found this a little distracting, as I was continually trying to remember who was who.
This is a well written series, with strong, endearing characters. I enjoyed it very much and am looking forward to reading about the rest of the team.

Finally Married

Mathew finally proposes to Caroline. He wants a big splashy wedding, she doesn't but gives in when she sees how important it is to Mathew. While agreeing to the big wedding, Caroline refuse to plan it and says she needs help
. Surprisingly, Matthew says that Hunter could help her and be wise she is a that Hunter regretted not having the big wedding, she agreed to Hunter being filling that role.

After many discussions, stubbornness, and irritation, it is the wedding day. The bride and bridesmaids are all ready but the groom and groomsmen are not there. Alabama gets a phone calling telling her there is an accident and that Christopher is in the hospital. The girls talk to the minister and head to the church in their bridal outfits.

Once assured that Christopher is fine Caroline let's everyone know that the wedding is still on and that the minister is there to Mary them.

SEAL of Protection

Caroline and Alabama's stories were touching and wonderful and had me in tears. Fiona's story was good for the most part, but, in my opinion, it also had an extremely inappropriate scene just before they left the safe house. That really put a damper on the rest of Fiona's story for me. There are quite a few mechanical errors, such as odd phrasing, unnecessary words, and a couple of misspelled words (duly for dully). I'm not sure the word "nevertheless" was used properly much of the time. However, I really did enjoy the first two stories enough to continue to read Ms. Stoker's books.

A bit average.

The writing is at times juvenile, for instance the constant use of "The Terrorists" the nickname and the fact that no one calls the guys by shortened names. How many people with the name Christopher have their significant other call them Christopher and not Chris, the same with Matthew. Also the amount of times the name Alabama is written. It's cringy.
I will continue to read the rest and listen to the rest of the series ,but I don't see what all the hype is about. I read an offshoot series by another Author who's writing was so much better and much more believable story lines. I thought I'm also not a fan of books that are written in the third person.

Love this Series!

I'm so excited that I could finally start this series! I read protecting Caroline awhile ago and I loved it. These women are strong and Independent and their men are absolutely amazing. I wish I had a guy like wolf, abe and cookie. I just love how they protect and care for their woman and everyone else as well. They truly are a big family! If I found someone who looked at me and treated with so much respect and love like these guys do with Caroline, Alabama and Fiona I would snatch him up and not let him go either.

I must say this book set has introduced me to a fun, exciting, heart wrenching, often nail biting series.
Susan Stoker has created a cast of characters that are much more down to earth, believable and relatable. The women have flaws and issues that many of us can relate to, not the sort you usually get but they prove themselves beyond doubt to win their Seals. For once the Seals, while all Macho and good-looking, are not over the top gung ho which gives them much more likeable personas. A great start to this series and I look forward to reading more.

I loved this box set of books!! The characters were rugged, compelling, and bad a&&! I loved the plot, the way the characters all seemed to work together and the overall vibe of the book! I enjoyed the banter between characters, the romance and the missions that the SEALS went on! The novella was a nail biter - all I wanted was a HEA.

The SEALS find their way through hostile missions to find the women that can handle them and their lives. The women are the true heroes in this story! I can't wait to read the next ones in this series - they are sure to be amazing! A must read for sure!!

Wow

This was such a good box set. It had suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. I was sad that after all Caroline had been through there was no sexy time for her. I love the love scenes and poor Caroline didn't get any. I felt bad for each of the women in these stories. Each had something terrible happen to them. They are amazing. All the Seals are amazing also. I want to thank you for being able to read without there being errors. This was so nice, so thank you for that. Thanks again for this amazing box set.

I binge read the entire SEAL of Protection over a week this summer. This is a fun, easy romantic suspense series that is read best in order. Susan Stoker has a writing style that works for her and her fans and all her books are best read in order. She has many inter-connected characters, so it's always best to read them in order to get the most out of them. Fiona's story was the most emotional to read because of what she had to experience. All the blurbs for each book are accurate to the stories. They're all told from dual POV and have action, emotion and heat.

Likeable characters in emotionally fraught situations

I enjoyed this box set containing 4 books. Each character goes through their ups and downs and you do get your happy endings. Some of the situations the female leads are in might be emotionally triggering to readers, but they are serious issues that happen in real life and I appreciate the way the author took care to not gloss them over.

This book was very good. There are 3 books in this series and each and every one is very good. The last book, 3.5 is a continuation of the 1st book. There is so much intrigue and suspense in all the books. Kept me reading right through all 3. Had a hard time putting it down. There is passion, of course, but it was a side line to the full story. Some of it is a bit gory as you are dealing with kidnapping, etc. but I highly recommend this series.

Love box sets

Getting multiple books in one spot? There's nothing better. Getting multiple books by Susan Stoker in one spot? Priceless. A better romantic military suspense author does not exist in my opinion. As a military wife, she does the best thing, she writes what she knows. Don't miss out on her amazing work

Real men with real strong women. Language strong, sex well done, and stories that will grab your heart. In a nutshell, get these books. You deserve them. Highly recommended.
