I have an 8 year old son w/ASD, PDD-NOS, Non-Verbal... VERY selective eating... I am going to preface my review with this book can surely help others who are starting on their parental journey of trying to introduce new foods into their child's diet... BUT, for me (& my husband), nothing in this book is new to us. We've tried all of the techniques & my son seems to be of the small percentile that is extremely selective due to to sensory issues. So much so, that he's terrified of a "pea-size" of anything new & he can detect & taste less than a "drop" of anything mixed into his known foods. His Pediatric Neurologist said he will eat when he decides to eat.
