"Since we are self-publishers, we can do whatever the heck we want on our back covers because we have no one we really need to answer to"
That sentence ended with a smiley character and not a period. That sentence says a lot about this book.
I borrowed this book from a friend because I wanted to understand the basics of publishing through Create Space. It helped me a little but it annoyed me a little, too.
This book was also published through Create-Space and it definitely tells a lot about self-publish authors. They just want to cash-in a lot of money from their low-quality books.
Here are my problems with this book:
1. It promotes substandard books just to make money
2. It has several wrong spellings and grammars
3. It does not have a flow that is easy to follow
4. This is supposed to be for beginners but it lacks explanations and introductions
5. I felt like the book was written in a day by a busy and lazy author
On the good side: There are a few handy tips you can get from this book.
This cost $12 in Amazon. Wow. Better check blogs out there that can help you in using Create Space.
