HEE HEE Akutagawa!
This volume was mostly setting up fo a bigger fight, but I still loved that ending! I also really liked the introduction of Edgar Allen Poe, he was an interesting character I would like to see more of!

Chapters 30~33 : The Guild Arc
This volume was particularily amusing. We get to witness Double Black, aka the Dazai-Chuya duo, back in action. God ! These two never disappoint. We're also treated to a litte show down between Ranpo and Edgar Allan Poe.
Two major discoveries are made in this volume :
1- Kunikida
2- Ranpo
Things are heating up for the final battle..

another one of my favorites! i forgot how much i loved this arc. i feel like we really get to know the characters better in this arc and see all of their motivations and how they react to the chaos. also finally we get to poe, i love the chapter with him, ranpo and yosano. this is when i really started to love akutagawa and he became one of my favorites.

What an intense volume! I don't know what I liked the most, Lovecraft, Poe, Double Black (Soukoku), or the last chapter cliffhanger? it's really interesting how Kafka Asagiri adds to the characters traits of the real authors and their works, specially with Lovecraft and Poe in the own chapters. I really, really loved "Tainted", Chuuya's ultimate ability, and how much he needs Dazai to use it, even if he doesn't want to acknowledge it.

I love the Akutagawa x Atsushi dynamic a lot too. Especially this battle. I'm not a huge fan of Ranpo, but I do like his interactions with Poe and I think his friendship with Yosano is interesting. I want to know more about these characters and their backgrounds.

We get to see my sweetheart Poe and my husband Akutagawa. A really nice volume, and I can't wait for Lucy to make a comeback, as well as Kyoka! I also really liked Yosano here. Lovecraft is an eldrict creature that I can't help but enjoy. Chuuya is a violent cutie.
