A very interesting books about all type of maps since the yesteryear by cartographers around the world.
Divided to 5 main chapters This Land Is Our Land, Over Land and Sea, Exploration and Expansion, World Divisions and Theme and Use, the book really full of informative and unique maps including cartographic octopus map, Silk Scarf 'Escape Map, Ostrich-Egg Globe, wheel map, Imago Mundi, etc.
The book that make me want to know more about Ottoman Empire, The Crusader, Aztez, Book of Dead, Book of Two Ways, Pompeii and Herculaneum, Great Fire of London, French Revolution, Alqonquins tribe, Yangtze and Yellow, etc.
It's a nice book that shows many exquisite maps but I wish there are more explanations and information about the history, usages, and other things related to maps and cartography rather than just giving captions for each map.
