This is the best version -- avoid the later edition which dumps pinyin romanization. Where else can you learn how to say:

"Is there a local gay publication?"
"I have my own syringe."
"What do you think of Adolf Hitler?"
"Is it possible to get an account with a local Internet service provider?"

Beyond the small number of silly phrases, there's a great deal of useful material in here, and with the characters written next to the pinyin if you really can't make yourself understood, you can just point.
