Cora Ross has one more summer vacation planned with her friends at the lake before entering the real world. Her hope is to lay around and soak up the sun, have a few drinks and enjoy herself. Having sworn off men for the time being, a love affair being the last thing on her mind.
Brody Myers is the center of the party, the guy every guy loves to hate and every girl wants to date. He's at the lake with his boys for one more summer and hopes to score as many times as possible, but that all changes when he runs into a strong, sexy woman that wants nothing to do with him.
She's not willing to budge, or so she thinks. It's almost the 4th of July. Time to light up the night.
Fireworks is a 80,000-word, FULL LENGTH, Standalone holiday vacation bad boy romance. No cliffhanger and has a HEA. Includes 2 free bonus full-length novels for a limited time.
Although this is a really enjoyable story, Ms. Adams should demand a refund from her editor! Cora is spending a fun-filled summer at the lake with her three best friends. She's nursing a broken heart over Brandon, her cheating ex-boyfriend. So the last thing Cora needs to do, is get involved with Brody, the town's gorgeous man-whore. But is that really all Brody is? Or is Cora making Brody pay for Brandon's sins?
Cora is struggling with what her parents want, a cheating ex-boyfriend and what she wants. Brody is used to women wanting one thing from him: sex. Their attraction is undeniable, but Cora's past leaves her leery. Will Brody be able to break past her walls? Will Cora be able to realize that some people can change?
Have to say that at times I wanted to smack both of these characters up side the head. I understood Cora's hesitation, but was really happy when she let herself move past the heartbreak and stood up for herself with her parents. I loved seeing Brody changes because I'll admit I didn't like him much in the beginning. Great read!

Another great short read. This is another great couple that I could read about over and over. I believe their story needs to continue!!! Just like Addiction! Lol All the characters were perfect together in this book, but of course Cora and Brody stole the show!!!
I did not like brody but seeing how Cora giving him a chance helps to unmask his true self made me enjoy this couples n the other 2 that formed as well
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
The 2 main characters Cora and Brody are in Lake Havasu for a summer vacation after school with their friends. They have all finished their exams and want to have some fun this summer.
Cora really needs to get away with her 3 friends to heal her broken heart over her last douchebag that she was dating. Brody on the other hand, has no problems finding women and has no problem going through them all. Brody's friends are just used to his speedy dates these days but still bug him about it.
Cora is closed off to new romance and Brody is always on the lookout for new flings. Much to his surprise, the first time he sees Cora the lightning strikes.
This is a good read. I REALLY enjoyed the epilogue and cannot wait to read more by this author.
Cora just graduated college and needs a vaca bad, so her and her bff go to the Lake. She swore off men since her ex cheated on her the whole time they were together. Brody is the bad boy player that Cora doesn't need but once Brody sees her he wants her. Cora shoots him down which has never really happened before but he is persistent. Brody friends and Cora friends get together and become inseparable. Cora lets her guard down and finds that maybe she missed judged Brody. Can she finally get her HEA? Really enjoyed this book and loved all the characters especially when they were all together.
The story isn't bad. Cora meets man whore Brody while vacationing on the lake with some friends the summer after graduation. She's hesitant because her last boyfriend cheated on her and Brody reminds her of her ex. The characters were fun and interesting. What brought this from a 3.5 to a 2 is the lack of editing. Taunt was used repeatedly for taut. Peer for Pier. To for too. Over and over from page 1 when I saw the first instance of though for thought. Please have a copy editor fix this story. It will be so much better with proper grammar.
For honest review. Brody was a lying playbook him and his friends are on summer vacation when he meets Cora and her friends .Cora just got over a bad breakup with a man that cheated on her as the summer progress see how Brody changes and Cora lets down her guard. Very good story.
What happens when a cocky, sexy, arrogant guy meets a self confident, sexy, arrogant girl....Fireworks!! This book was a fast paced, sexy romp, though somewhat predictable. Just the kind of book to read on a rainy day. I received an ARC for an honest review.
So much passion and trouble for these young lovers. But through the heat of summer and some help from their friends Brody and Cora found themselves together.
Cora is staying at the family dinner home with a few of her friends for the fourth of July. While out with her friends she meets Brody. He's sexy but he's cocky and Cora wants nothing to do with him. This is only making Brody want her more. Can he have her? Or should be fine another?
