Is happily ever after finally here? The wedding is coming! The wedding is coming! Zoe Lake and Aric Winters are ready to say “I do.” They’ve fought sphinxes, witches, and monster hunters – and all they want now is peace. Unfortunately, that’s not so easy to find. When the wedding planners – and warring mothers – descend on their happy home, Aric and Zoe are plunged into a world they never expected. Zoe doesn’t desire a white dress, and she certainly doesn’t want a champagne fountain, but her wishes are pushed aside to make way for the people who want to make a showcase out of her special day. Nothing is simple in Zoe and Aric’s world, and that includes the new threat – which looks very much like an old one. The most powerful mage in the Midwest is a coveted commodity. Everyone wants her power, but only one man wants her love. Aric and Zoe aren’t afraid of a fight, but the one pressing down on them is something they never expected. Can Zoe wage a war without giving up the only thing she’s ever truly wanted? Can one happy couple put old demons to rest and walk down an aisle littered with past mistakes and regret? And, more importantly, can destiny really exert a powerful hand and let happily ever after be a reality? It’s time for Zoe and Aric to make the ultimate pledge – no matter what evil force opts to stand in their way.
When I was a kid, I was torn between whether or not I was going to grow up and be the Incredible Hulk or Wonder Woman. I flirted with being a Jedi Knight for awhile, but I wasn't up for the intense travel associated with the gig. In my teens, I settled on being a writer -- although I had no idea the effort that would entail. Not only am I a writer now, but I'm a writer in several different mediums. I'm a longtime newspaper reporter, an avid reader and a voracious science fiction fanatic.
I seriously love Amanda M Lee's books I just can't help it and book 3 in the living covenant was just freaking awesome I really love Zoe and Aric talk about an amazing couple they really are it for each other, no seriously I don't think one would survive without the other and with their wedding approaching and both their Mom's going crazy about the wedding well it just makes for such awesome reading.... It also makes me so glad i never married omg the drama of it all just to say I Do and then in amongst all the wedding drama as always we have the evil assholes trying to kill Zoe, or is it Aric this time or maybe Paris oh I don't know there is always someone trying to kill one of them, I think Aric needs to build a bigger house and deck the basement out for Rafael add permanent rooms for their parents, Paris and Kelsey oh that would be hilarious all of them living together all the time hahahaha
But seriously a great great trilogy I love the snark, sarcastic sassiness that comes from everyone it makes the banter between characters more fun and I don't care if its just my wicked sense of humour i really love it these books as with all of Amanda's books it was freaking awesome.
I know there are 3 more books that introduce Baby Winters, but I read them first, then started at the beginning... The entire series, along with all of Amanda's characters throughout all of her series is just over running with love, loyalty, snarkiness, and adventure. So happy for Aric and Zoe!
Pacing was way off. I fell asleep 2/3 into book. The teenagers ( villians), were too powerful to be just teenagers Who wanted their mommies. I just couldn't buy into it. Why attack Paris when she's now protected by the most powerful Mage. Why not wait until she leaves them after the wedding. If they are powerful enough to get through her wards and even almost kill them, then they must be smart and powerful enough to know when is the right time to attack. I felt the plot took a detour. I expected the plot to have something to do with why Zoe was getting sick. It would have been a better plot if her powers went wonky because of the surprise pregnancy and therefore attracted a lot more unfriendly magical beings who needed to steal her powers and/ or finally put an end to the abomination that should have never existed. Maybe Mark should have been used as the primary villain in this story line because he ties into the first series under a similar story line and would have presented as a much more formidable threat. I also thought the wedding coordinator was a wasted opportunity. This character did not add much to the overall story other than slight comic relief which was too bad considering the author made him magical. It would have at least been more interesting if he stayed human. The first book in this series was the best, but as the series continued, the story got lazy. The villains were very one dimensional. I thought the ending was a dud. I expected an epic showdown and instead ended flat and disappointing. Amanda Lee is one of my favorite authors. I was however disappointed by this series. The series just fell flat.

I honestly don't know how many words can express my feelings about these books and this author. I downloaded the first series of these 5 books on audiobook and when I saw it was 36 hours I was dubious about it. I started on 26 March 2021 and I can quite happily say that every night and every opportunity I have had, I have listened and got completely hooked on the books, the plots and the characters!!! As soon as I started to get engrossed in this, I started researching and found out there was this trilogy (25 hours) which continues when they leave college. That was downloaded as well. All in all there is over 61 hours of fantastic writing from an extremely talented author. I LOVED EVERY SINGLE PART OF IT. There were not any moments of the plot dragging, I didn't get bored once and that is astonishing when you think of 61 hours!!! Do not hesitate for one second to read/listen to these books. They deliver on every single level.
Zoe and Aric are only a few days away from the wedding, and the wedding they envisioned is not what the mother's want. Zoe is at her wits end over the mother's telling her what she should want for her wedding. Zoe and Aric sense there is a threat after they are approached by 3 wolves who give them a warning. Aric is on guard now and with the help of the family he feels Zoe is protected, until the unthinkable happen, Zoe is way more powerful than anyone ever thought.
I loved the 3rd book. I'm really glad most of the book centered around the wedding, the Mom's and a little mystery thrown in. It was not as gloom and doom in fact more lighthearted and fun. We get to relive some of Zoe and Aric past moments and see how the Mom's manipulate and frustrate Zoe and Aric with wedding planning. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Living Covenant Trilogy is awesome. It was exciting, fast-paced, and had an awesome ending. Zoe has become a force to be reckoned with. The ending was so happy. It's my favorite kind of ending. She gifted Rafael with the gift of a lifetime. She gifted Aric with the gift of a lifetime. I can't wait to get through Dying Covenant Trilogy, which I hate that I can't put the books down once I get started because I'm going to be sad when when I'm finished.

Again I'm saying it... BEST BOOK EVER!!!! I really think that this is the best Covenent book yet! I know, I say it every time but it's how I feel. Lol. These books do keep getting better and I have 3 more to go . Oh yeah! I KNEW IT! I guessed this certain part early on in this book and I'm so freaking excited! I can't wait to see how everything turns out!
Another great book, lots of laugh out loud moments along with some life and death situations. Along with the fun of having Zoe, Aric, Paris, Kelsey and Rafael together again we also had some great moments with the two mums and the wedding prep. Highly recommended series, though make sure to read the full covenant collage series first to really appreciate it.
There isn't a lot of adventure in this book, it seems more of an afterthought for those who wanted supernatural danger. The battle in this book is with the mother-of-the-bride-zilla(s) (and, of course wedding consultant). The flash backs to previous books enhanced rather than detracted.
So first I have to say I'm sad this book and series is over, it was so much fun I will really miss these characters; even though other series bring them back at times which are truly awesome. Excellent characters, excellent series, and have to give a shout out to the artist who designed the covers, fantastic job all around.
Before that the mothers descend and start planning the wedding of their dreams upsetting the bride and groom, then Zoe gets sick twice and an attack out of the blue sends everyone into action.
A fun, eventful and snarky story with a beautiful ending.
We got the ring … now we get the wedding, er, soon.
First, we have to get through the mothers of the intended - and their plans for the wedding of the ages. One chick a piece, and they … have. Plaaaaannnnsss.
But, so does someone else. Never a dull moment in Zoe’s life!
1.5 This was so disappointing. We've been waiting for Aric's and Zoe's wedding and for almost 17 chapters it was nothing but their mothers taking over and trying to force the couple to have the wedding a certain way. It earned a .5 because the ending was sweet.
Remember to read the Covenant College series first before reading the Living Covenant series. I am thrilled that there is the Dying Covenant to read after this one. Eventually I will run out of these books and miss Zoe and her family and friends.
Words cannot describe how in awe I am! I really thought it couldn't get better. It is an amazing book! A must read. Trust me you must pick it up and read it. It will surprise you!
This is 5 or 6 series now I read by the author. She has fun characters , strong funny smart brave female characters some with attitude of mouth like Zoe .
.Amanda M. Lee did it again. She made me laugh and cry through this book. I love Zoe & Aric and glad that they got married. I'm glad that Zoe could give the gift of daylight to her vampire friend. I highly recommend this series. Although I wish she would not have changed narrators

I first met Zoe and Aric in a different series, and the references they made to thongs they had endured were intriguing. I started this series expecting to find out the real story, and got much more than that. On the the .ast of the Covenant books!
Its like eating candy or chips, you have to get another one. I am continuing the series, thank heaven for kindle unlimited. I bet I read one a day, and they are all interesting and entertaining.
Whew! What a ride! Seeing Zoe and Aric as adults in their own home has been fun. We see them band together with their friends to take down a new enemy. I am looking forward to the next trilogy.
Another amazing Amanda Lee book. This book was non-stop action and on going questions about what will happen next or how the book will end. Never disappointing!
This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
