Join the world’s most successful people Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group Napoleon, French Conqueror Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks Dalai Lama, Religious Leader Michelle Obama, First Lady of the United States
These are just a few of the many, many successful people who point their accomplishments to them being early risers. They, among thousands of other early risers enjoy the proven benefits waking up early provides:
• Better Productivity • More Creativity • More Optimism • Better Health
Stop wasting time on advice that doesn’t help: What this book is not There are hundreds of blog posts on how to wake up earlier. Most repeat the same things, “Be positive” or “Get enough sleep”, which are inspiring and somewhat helpful, but only work until they don’t. NONE of them provide a guided system for how to actually enjoy waking up each morning.
This is not a collection of things copied into a book in the hope that people would pay me for it. This is the exact system I created and used to transform myself into a confirmed morning person over the course of 3 months.
What you get My promise for this book is that you walk away with a clear method for how to love being up early in the morning. So what you’ll get is:
• A guide outlining how I learned to absolutely love waking up • Resources I found useful • Organization tools I created to help along the way

Morning, how to wake up, morning routine, habits, how to be a morning person, productivity, how to
Sam has lived in many parts of the world, but continues to call North Carolina home. Writing has become a vehicle for him to pursue his grand vision for the world, which is that every single human being absolutely loves the life that they're living.
He is also an enthusiastic husband, and avid fan of volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and disc golf.
I love this guy. I’ve read his other book and both are so easily digestible. He builds on many of the teachings of Charles Duhigg’s book the Power of Habit, which I’ve read. This was wonderful to me as it was not only a refresher but it showed me how it worked in practice. This book also gives you really good tips and information that isn’t the standard stuff everyone else is regurgitating. Highly reccomend
I can't remember the last time I read a how-to book that lived up to its promise. Easy, actionable steps in this one actually make being a morning person seem possible. Looking forward to putting this into practice. I guess the real test will be how I react when the 5:45 alarm goes off in the morning.
This book is a very short guide that you can read in an hour.it could as well be an article in a blog.the important points can be summarized in a page.the author provides some good tips based on the charles duhigg habbit creation idea.
As someone who has a lot of trouble getting up in the morning, this is a very good and short practical guide to beginning your journey towards enjoying waking up early. I really liked that the advice was practical and given in steps with realistic examples and ideas of how to utilise your newly acquired extra time in the mornings. He also provides some useful and interesting resources in the book such as apps, videos and books he read.
Sam Uyama makes some very good points and it was interesting to realise that we do not have control over our lives if it is dictated by a schedule. Another point he made that I liked was that "it's much easier to utilize brainpower for whatever projects you want to pursue without the weight of the day's activities on your mind".
I didn't like the format of the book (the paperback version) because I personally found it distracting to follow and felt like I was reading a draft and not the final version.
Apart from that, I look forward to implementing the steps. I started reading this book with my sister, who has already started putting this into practice. Now she wakes up very early in the morning and uses it to do things she enjoys.
I really enjoyed reading this book, it is about a very important subject which can made our lives successful.. This book is for those who want to fall in love with getting up early and being able to have time to do things that are important to them. It’s for those that want to make early mornings a natural part of their daily life, but have struggled with it for as long as they can remember. And lastly, this book is for those who are willing to make a few lifestyle adjustments in order to make those desires a reality. This is about being easy and sustainable, but it’s not a free ride. ...
Short, but incredibly helpful book with tips to gradually wake up early and create a morning routine. I love that this book uses applied behavior analysis techniques such as ABC data and reinforcement, along with shaping to create new habits. I used each chapter for one week and then moved on to the next one in order to gradually shape my own behavior. Highly recommend for those like me who struggle to get out of bed and create a useful morning routine
Quick read in a hour or less . Pretty much summarizes the use of habit and making a regimen in the morning and night. The simplified version of most self help books.
An excellent quick read with very practical tips & resources. Also quite thought provoking, I used to be a morning person running 8 miles a day 6 days a week before most people had gotten out of bed - what changed? Why can I barely drag out of bed now regardless of the time? I really enjoyed the resources, especially the daily planner. I have uses my own system much like this one pager for 20 years but I love tools & templates & found this one spot on to my way of thinking. Thank you for your insights, research & practical testing of the subject matter.
What is so unique about this book, is that he has given us a systematic way of what he did to actually succeed in waking up early. I have always struggled waking up early. In fact its being an uphill task but I am willing to try out the apps and the Morning and Evening Routines he has suggested. There is so much gratification in having time to slot in some''alone time''. I am yet to think of my reward but I am trying this today. Highly recommend this book to everyone
5/5 Easy and interesting book to read. Picked up a few things and I'm curious to see if using somethings such as sleep cycle and outlining a morning and evening plan will help my sleep schedule (which isn't that bad to begin with)...but to make lists and accomplish more in the day is a goal is like to accomplish. Quick and straight to the point, as well.
Easy to follow and to the point suggestions. Also includes info about time planning apps and interesting alarm clocks. I'll test this starting with tonight routine.
I liked how he gave a different approach to rewarding yourself for getting out of bed I had personally thought that using sugar as motivation first thing would immediately tempt me to get out of bed but that's what self control is about.
Short and sweet book. Made some very logical conclusions and very helpful remedies. Things you can actually do and make sense. Looking forward to trying them out!
This book was useful. I have struggled with waking up early for years. I have a few different approaches to consider now. Getting up is about making better use of your day.
