It gets better and better.
This is the second book of a 2 part series of Almost Human, the original series. Born to Blood is the name of the second set of series and can be read from book 1 without having to read the Almost Human series but you will lose a lot of background of the characters as well as the main storyline.
Having said that, this book was amazing! It shows Allie and Mattie and how they're coping with the transition. We are seeing some more worrisome problems and has you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. The storyline flowed great and the characters are amazing as always. I love the experiments that are being conducted and showing a different side of things. I love how Allie questions everything and nothing. Grab both of these series as they will change your life! Now onto the next book. Happy reading.

Vampires the continuing story
Now that Alyson has turned, things are moving forward and changing. If you're going to read this series, read it from the beginning. The stories can be read as stand alones, and those who love vampires and the connection with almost humans and humans will enjoy these stories. They are far from typical. It's full of intrigue and connections with characters and how they react to secrets and being on the verge of humanity. Well written.

Best series ever! This book has it all.
I think so far these books are raising the bar high. Now that most of the character development is done, the really good storytelling going on now. Yeah!

*This Book Was Given To Me In Exchange For An Honest Review*
This is the second novella in book 2 of the Almost Human series by author Melanie Nowak and although readers don't need to read book 1 I do feel they would need to read the first novella in this part to enjoy it.
This second book settled very quickly into the must read vibe that you have at the end of the book 1 series. I LOVE some of the new vampire ideas that are shared in this book and was pleased that more of the original characters had a bigger role than in the first one (But only because I LOVE them so much).
I am very intrigued as to where things are going next and can't wait to get my hands on part 3.
