Znowu mam 10 lat i śledzę z zapartym tchem. Tak samo cudowny jak kiedyś, przepięknie narysowany, każda kolejna strona powoduje wyrzut endorfin do mojego organizmu. Historię znam bardzo dobrze (a przynajmniej pierwsze 3 sagi), ale w ogóle nie czuć, żeby jakkolwiek się zestarzała i wciąż sprawia ogromną frajdę. Do tego w końcu ma takie wydanie, na jakie zasługuje. Same plusy, zero minusów, wspaniały komiks.

Świetne wspomnienie dzieciństwa. Przeczytałam ją od razu jak tylko dorwałam w swoje ręce! Nie mogłam się od niej oderwać a wspomnienia, które co chwilę do mnie napływały były bezcenne. Mimo, iż mam do tego komiksu ogromny sentyment uważam, że kreska jak i cała historia prezentują się naprawdę dobrze.

Mam wielki niedosyt. Dlaczego komiksy są tak strasznie drogie? 😭😭😭
Przyniosła mi ukojenie, a wraz z nim wiele innych pozytywnych uczuć. Nostalgię, relaks, radość. Poczułam się rzeczywiście, jakbym powróciła do dawnych lat, mimo że zupełnie się tego nie spodziewałam. Kupiłam ją z zamiarem poznania tej historii w całości, zalepienia dziur, a dostałam... dzieciństwo.
Przyniosła mi ukojenie, a wraz z nim wiele innych pozytywnych uczuć. Nostalgię, relaks, radość. Poczułam się rzeczywiście, jakbym powróciła do dawnych lat, mimo że zupełnie się tego nie spodziewałam. Kupiłam ją z zamiarem poznania tej historii w całości, zalepienia dziur, a dostałam... dzieciństwo.

April 13, 2022Na początku komiksu znajduje się artykuł o tym, jak WITCH trafiło do Polski i jak powstawał magazyn. Czytając go, miałam dosłownie łzy w oczach.

To tak bardzo o mnie!!!
Wiem, że wiele osób wspomina te gazetki, komiksy lub bajki z radością, ale dla mnie to było znacznie więcej. To naprawdę była moja ulubiona rzecz na świecie. Pomagała mi w smutkach, dawała tyle rozrywki i nawet pozwoliła zaprzyjaźnić się z osobami, które również to kochały (chociaż tylko internetowo). Intensywnie blogowałam o WITCH i po prostu czułam magię tej historii. Nigdy nic innego nie wywoływało we mnie tyle pasji. To takie cudowne wspomnienia i dlatego moje serce się raduje, że świat i nowe osoby znowu mogą się zapoznać z tą historią. To już nie to samo oczywiście. Mamy inne czasy, inny świat i rozrywki, ale myślę, że ta magia nadal może do kogoś trafić!
Bardzo ciekawe, że nazwa Kondrakar pojawiła się w Polsce przez literówkę. Dopiero niedawno odkryłam, że w innych krajach mają Kandrakar. Ale w sumie nasza wersja chyba lepiej brzmi, chociaż to pewnie z przyzwyczajenia.
Na 9 stronie w opisie Irmy zapomniano wspomnieć o jej ojcu, za to o żółwiu powiedziano aż 2 razy. xD
Opis twierdzi, że największą wadą Taranee jest roztargnienie? Nie powiedziałabym.
Komiks nie zestarzał się jakoś mocno. Może poza tekstem „Łał! Masz własną komórkę!” albo gdy Taranee dawała Will dyskietkę.
Zawsze mnie zastanawiało co Cedric powiedział Elyon, że udało mu się ją aż tak zmanipulować. Niby jest jakieś mini wyjaśnienie, ale takie kiepskie.
Ogólnie nie umiem obiektywnie ocenić tego komiksu, to zawsze będzie nieskończoność/10 gwiazdek!

wspaniała podróż do czasów dzieciństwa! ❤️
mimo upływu lat, nadal bardzo podoba mi się kreska i kolory. fabuła też nie zawodzi - lekka i zabawna, o przyjaźni, dorastaniu, problemach w szkole i z rodzicami.. oraz o walczeniu ze złem.
bawiłam się równie dobrze mając 10 lat jak i teraz.

Czytając to czułam się tak samo jak wtedy, gdy byłam małym brzdącem, który codziennie rano włączał jetix żeby obejrzeć swoją ulubioną bajkę, która zapewniała mu przebrania na bale karnawałowe przez kilka dobrych lat.

Ach, czarodziejki W.I.T.C.H! Do dziś pamiętam dzień, kiedy mama kupiła mi pierwszy zeszyt komiksu, a ja zaczytywałam się w niego w kuchni podczas gdy ona pichciła obiad. I pamiętam, jak wahadełko dodane do gazetki zabrałam na wyjazd do babci. Później zaczęłam pisać moją pierwszą opowiastkę (nie miałam jeszcze komputera więc O D R Ę C Z N I E w dużym zeszycie) i przez kalkę odrysowywałam grafiki z komiksu ozdabiając nimi moje opowiadanie. Później pojawiła się jeszcze odcinkowa bajka, którą oglądałam po powrotach ze szkoły. Sentyment goni sentyment!
Kiedy więc w Internecie gruchnęła wiadomość, że pojawi się wznowienie komiksów w pięknych, twardo okładkowych księgach oczywistym dla mnie było, że je kupię. Wyczekałam do lektury pierwszej z nich, żeby mieć na półce już kontynuacje i oto – w Halloweenowy wieczór, czyli dokładnie tak jak zatytułowany był pierwszy zeszyt – pozwoliłam sobie na podróż w meandry mojego dzieciństwa.
(adnotacja z 2023 - czytając po raz drugi pochłonęłam cały tom jednego letniego wieczora!)
To komiks dla dzieci, dlatego akcja tutaj pogania akcję, a wydarzenia następują bardzo szybko po sobie, nie ma praktycznie momentu „oddechu”, chyba że za taki przyjmiemy różne zabawowe scenki rzucane nam gdzieś przez autora (autorów?). I jasne, dla dojrzałego czytelnika jest to problematyczne i szybko wypatrzy on dziury fabularne, czy inne tego typu rzeczy, ale dla dziecka to po prostu świetna historia o nastoletnich dziewczynach.
Już w tej pierwszej księdze rzuciły mi się w oczy schematy, czy raczej stereotypy, które dziś w literaturze już raczej nie przechodzą. Mocno stereotypowe jest na przykład ukazanie dziewcząt i ich pociągu do makijażu, ładnego wyglądu i – oczywista – chłopaków. Ale nie raziło mnie to specjalnie, bo miałam ciągle na uwadze, że te komiksy mają już swoje dwadzieścia lat. Co ciekawe, jest kilka smaczków. Jak to, że aby porozmawiać na odległość z koleżanką trzeba zadzwonić do niej do domu z numeru stacjonarnego, albo...telefonicznej budki, bo telefon komórkowy to tutaj ciągle coś nietypowego, zwłaszcza w przypadku nastolatki ;)
Nie do końca pamiętałam wszystkie wydarzenia. Zresztą, wydaje mi się, że w pewnym momencie zarzuciłam proszenie mamy o kolejne numery pisemka kosztem takich magazynów jak „13-tka” i „Bravo Girl” (tak, czytałam takie gazety za młodu) i ten W.I.T.C.H. gdzieś już mi później uciekł. Ale tym bardziej chętnie poznam dalsze perypetie dziewcząt i zobaczę, jak ta cała historia się zakończyła.

Stellt euch das vor: Es sind die 90er/00er, "Charmed" läuft frisch im deutschen TV auf ProSieben, es ist ein wunderschöner Nachmittag, die Schule ist aus und in der örtlichen Postfiliale mit Zeitschriftensortiment (ja, ich bin in einem Kaff aufgewachsen) entdeckt ihr eine neue Zeitschrift über Zaubersprüche, Sabbate sowie ein Comic über fünf Mädchen mit Zauberkräften UND als Bonus ist ein magisches Amulett dabei! Kauft ihr sofort oder seid ihr normal?
Die Magie, die von dieser ersten W.I.T.C.H.-Ausgabe (die Buchstaben stehen für die Anfangsbuchstaben der Mädchen) wirkt offensichtlich bis heute bei mir nach. Nun hat Egmont den Comic-Teil als Hardcover neu aufgelegt. Was ich interessant fand, war direkt das Vorwort der deutschen Lektorin, die erzählt, dass es eigentlich ein italienisches Lifestyle-Magazin war und die ganzen Inhalte außer dem Comic von ihr und ihren Mitarbeitenden zusammengestellt wurden. Klar, das war alles fluffy und die Sprüche eher Bibi-Blocksberg-mäßig, aber die Basics der magischen Arbeit wurden durchaus vermittelt.
Dieser neue erste Band vereint die ersten sechs Comic-Geschichten. Jedes Cover der damaligen Ausgabe trennt die Kapitel voneinander.
1. Halloween
Will ist neu an der Schule in Heatherfield. Recht schnell freundet sie sich mit fünf Mädchen dort an: Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, Hay-Lin und Elyon. Doch in der magischen Stadt Kandrakar wurden ihre Kräfte erweckt und somit werden finstere Mächte auf die Teenagerinnen aufmerksam...
Der erste Band ist natürlich der Auftakt, alle lernen sich kennen, die ersten Machenschaften werden enthüllt.
2. Die zwölf Portale
Nachdem die Mädels fast eine Turnhalle abgebrannt haben, üben sie, ihre Kräfte zu kontrollieren. Dabei kommt ihnen Hay-Lins Großmutter zu Hilfe, die ihnen eine Landkarte mit Portalen gibt, die geschlossen werden müssen, damit keine Dämonen in unsere Welt dringen können.
Ich habe auf dem Dachboden ein selbstgebasteltes Tarot aus einer der Ausgaben und eine der Karten zeigt einen Siebenschläfer. Den fand ich immer unfassbar niedlich, konnte mich aber nicht mehr erinnern, wieso der da drauf war. Jetzt weiß ich es wieder.
3. Die andere Dimension
In dieser Folge erkennen die Mädchen, dass nicht alles und jeder ist, wie es scheint. Voller Misstrauen gegenüber der Mathematik nehmen sie daraufhin ihre Lehrerin ins Visier.
4. Die Kraft des Feuers
Damit die Mädchen in Ruhe ihre Mission erfüllen können, erschaffen sie Astralzwillinge von sich. Das birgt allerdings ganz neue Probleme...
5. Die letzte Träne
In dieser Folge haben die Mädchen mit Jungs zu kämpfen - und einer davon ist in einem Gemälde gefangen! Hatte ich heute schon "Charmed" erwähnt? ;)
6. Lügen und Illusionen
Im letzten Abenteuer in diesem Band dreht sich alles um Will, die sich auf ihre Karriere als Schwimmerin konzentrieren möchte. Doch wie wir schon gelernt haben, sind nicht alle Freunde, was sie scheinen und so kommt erneut eine große Bedrohung auf die Stadt zu. Das große Finale in der Buchhandlung hat mir natürlich super gefallen.
Das einzige, was mich genervt hat, waren die vielen noch vorhandenen Fehler. Man würde doch meinen, nach so vielen Neuausgaben und Auflagen wären die ausgemerzt (Mietglied? Heat-herfield? Und auf Wills Aufsatz steht erst IIIA und dann 8A).
Es hat mich damals schon beeindruckt, wie divers der Comic mit Taranee und Hay-Lin aufgestellt ist, mit welch schwierigen Themen sich die Mädchen herumschlagen müssen und wie aufregend und abenteuerlich doch alles verpackt wurde. Je länger ich darüber nachdenke, umso mehr Dinge fallen mir in meinem Haushalt ein, die von dieser Zeitschrift stammen - das Amulett, chinesische Münzen, das erwähnte Tarot auf dem Dachboden. Ich denke, wenn ich mich wieder mehr damit beschäftige, werden mir noch mehr Sachen einfallen. Ich finde es unheimlich spannend, nach all den Jahren festzustellen, wie sehr einen etwas beeinflusst hat. Ich schaue alte Serien oder Filme aus meiner Kindheit und stelle fest, dass ich gewisse Manierismen oder Aussprüche nahtlos übernommen habe und heute noch sage. Wir sind doch alle nur die Summe unserer Umgebung...

Ich habe auf dem Dachboden ein selbstgebasteltes Tarot aus einer der Ausgaben und eine der Karten zeigt einen Siebenschläfer. Den fand ich immer unfassbar niedlich, konnte mich aber nicht mehr erinnern, wieso der da drauf war. Jetzt weiß ich es wieder.

In dieser Folge erkennen die Mädchen, dass nicht alles und jeder ist, wie es scheint. Voller Misstrauen gegenüber der Mathematik nehmen sie daraufhin ihre Lehrerin ins Visier.
4. Die Kraft des Feuers
Damit die Mädchen in Ruhe ihre Mission erfüllen können, erschaffen sie Astralzwillinge von sich. Das birgt allerdings ganz neue Probleme...
5. Die letzte Träne
In dieser Folge haben die Mädchen mit Jungs zu kämpfen - und einer davon ist in einem Gemälde gefangen! Hatte ich heute schon "Charmed" erwähnt? ;)
6. Lügen und Illusionen
Im letzten Abenteuer in diesem Band dreht sich alles um Will, die sich auf ihre Karriere als Schwimmerin konzentrieren möchte. Doch wie wir schon gelernt haben, sind nicht alle Freunde, was sie scheinen und so kommt erneut eine große Bedrohung auf die Stadt zu. Das große Finale in der Buchhandlung hat mir natürlich super gefallen.
Das einzige, was mich genervt hat, waren die vielen noch vorhandenen Fehler. Man würde doch meinen, nach so vielen Neuausgaben und Auflagen wären die ausgemerzt (Mietglied? Heat-herfield? Und auf Wills Aufsatz steht erst IIIA und dann 8A).
Es hat mich damals schon beeindruckt, wie divers der Comic mit Taranee und Hay-Lin aufgestellt ist, mit welch schwierigen Themen sich die Mädchen herumschlagen müssen und wie aufregend und abenteuerlich doch alles verpackt wurde. Je länger ich darüber nachdenke, umso mehr Dinge fallen mir in meinem Haushalt ein, die von dieser Zeitschrift stammen - das Amulett, chinesische Münzen, das erwähnte Tarot auf dem Dachboden. Ich denke, wenn ich mich wieder mehr damit beschäftige, werden mir noch mehr Sachen einfallen. Ich finde es unheimlich spannend, nach all den Jahren festzustellen, wie sehr einen etwas beeinflusst hat. Ich schaue alte Serien oder Filme aus meiner Kindheit und stelle fest, dass ich gewisse Manierismen oder Aussprüche nahtlos übernommen habe und heute noch sage. Wir sind doch alle nur die Summe unserer Umgebung...

Un tuffo nel passato. Avevo visto la presentazione di questo volume antologico delle W.I.T.C.H. ma poi mi ero dimenticata.
Le W.I.T.C.H. hanno cominciato ad essere pubblicate nel 2001. Io avevo già 17 anni ed ero un po' fuori target però mi piaceva come fumetto. Poche pagine da leggere al mese ma bei colori e storie interessanti. Dopo un po', ovviamente, mi ero persa nella storia. Per me, un mese era troppo distante e mi dimenticavo tutto; ovvio che dopo un po' la storia perdesse mordente se si continuavano a dimenticarsi le cose.
Grazie a questa raccolta ho approfittato per leggere di nuovo i primi sei episodi della prima serie. La presentazione di tutte le W.I.T.C.H. e le loro prime battaglie. L'omaggio a Sailor Moon è palese: sia dal modo in cui le cinque ragazzine si trasformano, sia nella presenza di un pupazzetto di Usagi nella stanza di Hay Lin.
Ho già ordinato anche il secondo volume e mi piacerebbe che la Panini riproponesse anche le serie successive. Ho sempre la certezza che serie così lunghe si gustino meglio in mega-volumoni piuttosto che spezzettate in x uscite mensili.

Sentymentalne pięć gwiazdek. Ta książka przeniosła mnie do czasów dzieciństwa, ale nie tylko dlatego tak wysoko ją oceniam. Kreska jest prześliczna, uwielbiam te kolory, a historia mocno wciąga. I ogromnie mi się podoba wiarygodność, z jaką przedstawione są tutaj nastolatki i ich relacje ze sobą i z dorosłymi. I, och, telefony z antenką...!

Ich habe die Comics damals geliebt. Jahre lang hatte ich die Magazine gesammelt und geliebt. Weshalb es mir auch unmöglich ist diese Neuauflage unvoreingenommen zu beurteilen. Als fan der Comics war es einfach wunderbar noch einmal diese Geschichte einzutauchen und auch jetzt 20 Jahre später war es unterhaltsam, aber auch extrem nostalgisch. Bin froh dass es eine Neuauflage der Comics nun im Deutschen gibt und hoffe die werden auch bis zum Ende der Comics noch rausgebracht. Jetzt heißt es erstmal abwarten paar Monate bis zum nächsten Teil.

Ein toller Comic, der mich in meine Kindheit zurück wirft. Ich kannte damals nur die Serie und freue mich jetzt sehr, dass die Comics nun nochmal veröffentlicht werden. Die Geschichte ist wirklich spannend, nur wenig kindlich und trotzdem nicht zu aufwühlend. Eine richtig schöne Geschichte über Freundschaft und Zauberei. Ich freue mich auf die anderen Bände.

Ich bin so glücklich, dass nach all den Jahren nochmal eine Neuauflage erschienen ist. Der Sammelband ist toll gemacht und enthält gleich die ersten sechs Episoden unserer magischen Truppe. Ich hatte wirklich viel Spaß und freue mich riesig auf Band zwei <3

W.I.T.C.H, da werden Kindheitserinnerungen wach. Leider kam ich aus diversen Gründen damals nur sporadisch zu dem Vergnügen die Comics zu lesen, ich konnte also nie die ganze Geschichte erfassen und wie das mit solchen Dingen so ist, verliert man es in dem Chaos der Pubertät irgendwann aus den Augen. Doch als ich nun fast 20 Jahre später die Neuauflage im Programm von Egmont entdeckte, dachte ich mir sofort: Da habe ich was nachzuholen!
Die Wächterinnen des Netzes
In der Welt von W.I.T.C.H gibt es viele verschiedene Dimensionen, damit diese sich nicht kreuz und quer vermischen und Chaos verursachen und damit Gut und Böse getrennt bleiben, gibt es das große Netz. Doch dieses wird immer brüchiger und es liegt nun an Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia und Hay-Lin, das Netz und die Dimensionen zu beschützen, wobei sie natürlich auf so einige Widersacher treffen. Ausgestattet sind die Wächterinnen mit der Kraft der Elemente, Irma beherrscht das Wasser, Cornelia die Erde, Taranee das Feuer, Hay-Lin die Luft und Will Energie. Diese Elementekräfte sind es, die mich als Kind schon faszinierten und es immer noch tun. Ich liebe bis heute Geschichten, in denen die ProtagonistInnen die Kräfte der Elemente kontrollieren können, ganz gleich, ob es die westlichen vier, die chinesischen fünf, oder ganz freie Kombinationen daraus sind. Dementsprechend machen mir die Kampfszenen in W.I.T.C.H sehr viel Spaß und ich habe sehr gerne verfolgt, wie die Freundinnen ihre Kräfte entdeckten und langsam zu kontrollieren lernen und bin sehr gespannt, was sie damit in Zukunft noch werden anstellen können.
Der magische Aspekt ist daher ein großer Pluspunkt der Reihe für mich und ein wesentlicher Faktor, warum mir die Comics gefallen.
Fünf Freundinnen und der ganz normale Teenie Alltag
Sympathisch waren mir nicht nur die Magie, sondern auch die Protagonistinnen. Jede der fünf Mädchen hat einen eigenen individuellen Charakter, wobei ich Hay-Lin und Taranee am liebsten mochte. Cornelia fände ich als Mensch in echt zwar nicht allzu sympathisch, aber sie trägt dazu bei, dass die Gruppendynamik spannender wird und nicht nur aus Friede-Freude-Eierkuchen besteht. Insgesamt bilden die verschiedenen Charakterzüge der Wächterinnen ein ausgeglichenes Team, das zusammen gut funktioniert und mir gefallen hat.
Als LeserIn der Comic bekommt man auch deshalb schnell ein Gefühl für die fünf Mädchen, weil sich nur ein Teil der Handlung mit Magie und dem Kampf gegen das Böse beschäftigt, denn Will und ihre Freundinnen gehen auch weiterhin zur Schule und müssen den ganz normalen Alltag von 12-14-jährigen bewältigen, inklusive all der kleinen und großen Probleme rund um Schule, Freundschaft und liebe, die das so mit sich bringt. Für mich waren viele der Teenie-Dramen nicht mehr wirklich ansprechend, das würde ich aber nicht dem Comic zulasten legen, da ich ja auch nicht die primäre Zielgruppe bin. Dennoch hätte ich es unabhängig davon noch schöner gefunden, wenn der Fokus noch mehr auf die Freundschaft und andere Sorgen, in dem Alter gelegt worden wäre, und nicht für jedes Mädchen schon ein passender Deckel gesucht werden müsste. Dafür ziehe ich ein Punkt ab, da auch ein Teenager Leben aus mehr besteht, als Liebeskummer und Liebesdrama.
Fazit:
Auch nach 21 Jahren nach der Veröffentlichung des ersten W.I.T.C.H Comics hierzulande, hat die Reihe rund um fünf Freundinnen, die mit der Kraft der Elemente gegen das Böse kämpfen, nichts von seiner Sogkraft verloren und macht immer noch Spaß zu lesen. Lediglich die Themen des Alltags der Mädchen könnten etwas vielfältiger gestaltet sein.

Unfortunately, for various reasons, I only had the pleasure of reading the comics sporadically at the time, so I was never able to grasp the whole story and, as is the way with such things, one loses sight of it at some point in the chaos of puberty. But when I discovered the new edition in Egmont's programme almost 20 years later, I immediately thought: I have some catching up to do!
The Guardians of the Web
In the world of W.I.T.C.H there are many different dimensions, so that they don't get mixed up and cause chaos, and so that good and evil remain separate, there is the great web. But this is becoming more and more fragile and it is now up to Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay-Lin to protect the net and the dimensions, whereby they of course encounter quite a few adversaries. The guardians are equipped with the power of the elements, Irma controls water, Cornelia earth, Taranee fire, Hay-Lin air and Will energy. These elemental powers are what fascinated me as a child and still do. To this day, I love stories in which the protagonists can control the powers of the elements, whether they are the Western four, the Chinese five, or completely free combinations of them. Accordingly, the fight scenes in W.I.T.C.H are a lot of fun for me and I enjoyed following how the friends discovered their powers and slowly learned to control them, and I am very curious to see what else they will be able to do with them in the future.
The magic aspect is therefore a big plus point of the series for me and a major factor why I like the comics.
Five friends and the normal everyday life of a teenager
I didn't just like the magic, but also the protagonists. Each of the five girls has her own individual character, although I liked Hay-Lin and Taranee best. I wouldn't find Cornelia too likeable as a human being in real life, but she contributes to making the group dynamic more exciting and not just peace and joy. Overall, the different character traits of the Guardians form a balanced team that works well together and that I enjoyed.
As a reader of the comic, you quickly get a feeling for the five girls because only part of the plot deals with magic and the fight against evil, because Will and her friends continue to go to school and have to cope with the normal everyday life of 12-14 year olds, including all the small and big problems around school, friendship and love that this entails. For me, many of the teen dramas weren't really appealing anymore, but I wouldn't blame that on the comic, since I'm not the primary target audience either. Nevertheless, I would have liked it even more if the focus had been more on friendship and other concerns at that age, and if a suitable cover didn't have to be found for every girl. I deduct one point for this, as there is more to teenage life than heartbreak and romantic drama.
Conclusion:
Even after 21 years after the publication of the first W.I.T.C.H comic in this country, the series about five friends who fight evil with the power of the elements has lost none of its pull and is still fun to read. Only the themes of the girls' everyday lives could be a little more varied.
