One of the things I love most about reading is formulating the story in my head. Allowing my imagination to run away based on the voices in an author’s head. Allowing my thoughts to intermingle with their talent has always made reading my lifeline.
But every now and then an author will come along, and there is nothing you can do, but follow their story and the journey will be amazing. There is no embellishment required, no thought process needed, just the words on pages and within the confines of a book binding.
I fell in love with Eden Butler when I first read “Thin Love” and I have followed her since. There is something about the way she puts words on a page that grabs you, hooks you, and you never want the story to end. All you want and need to do is read and the rest is pure magic.
Eden continues the journey she started with “Thin Love”, on through “Thick Love” and eventually gives us “Thick & Thin”. She gave us a family that we have grown with, loved with, cried with, cursed with…but never let go of.
In “Thick & Thin” Eden allows us to feel this couple, Aly and Ransom, and everything they go through to find their solidarity. The angst, the passion, the determination and the culmination of what true love can bring. The finality of happiness, the ending of separation and the togetherness of family…and no one does it better than Eden Butler.
Through Thick & Thin she will always have a fan in me.
