Liam is trying to figure out a way to not be killed by his pack and not let Mike mate with Skye. Skye is his mate. The council and the pack forcibly taking Skye away from Liam and mating him to another is despicable. I agree with many other reviewers, this serial should be shorter than 12 parts. Three or four parts would make this an engaging read, with higher ratings. This part is one of the better.

Oh my God! She finally announced that this is a twelve part serial--we're only halfway through!!! This serial has single-handedly paid for my Kindle Unlimited subscription. In the beginning she was charging 2.99 for each installment. I see now she's gone down to 99 cents a piece but still... I think I'm going to quit reading until they are all out. I have this fear that she'll have a stroke, die, and we will never get the end of the series.
