The teacher/student is a popular trope amongst forbidden romances. However, it's not often you read one that feels true and promises devastation. You instinctively know there will be a whole lot of pain before it ends well. In Teach Me Dirty the intense longing is tangible from the very start and I was reading it with bated breath.

Helen Palmer is an 18-year-old student. Extremely talented, she is in her final year of school with the end not too far off. She has an immense crush on her teacher Mr Roberts. One she has no intention of revealing until he stumbles across some of her erotic sketches...

My dirty obsession really knew no shame. But I did. Shame and I were getting a solid introduction.

Mark Roberts is a great teacher and a fantastic mentor. He's professional, reserved and hides his loneliness well. Except when Helen literally shakes his world up because some things you don't want to unsee. Although they've already bonded over their passion for art, awareness has now set in.

I was transfixed by her.
I was consumed by her.
And I was perplexed by how a lust so forbidden could feel so divine.

Their initial interaction outside of the classroom begins as a safe place for expression. Except the inappropriateness is undeniable. A forbidden passion Mr Roberts is trying to keep at bay is moments away from igniting. And when it does, they honestly try to abstain. Yet it's brutal.

"What’s life without risk, right? I think life is about experience… about the extremes… that’s where I think the soul thrives."

When they eventually cross that line, their hearts, bodies and souls are invested. Flying under the radar is impossible. The minute a secret is shared it's just a matter of time before it comes to light. And manipulative friends never help the matter!

In signature Jade West style, she always weaves an enthralling tale filled with kinky goodness guaranteed to incinerate your panties. But I will say there was something genuinely sweet and poetic about Mark and Helen’s love story. Age aside, occasionally two people are naturally meant and will always find a way to each other.

”An innocent little girl with a sketchbook full of fantasies.”

description

This is my first book read by this author and I definitely enjoyed her writing style and felt that she portrayed the heroine age appropriately and the hero surprisingly gentle and very respectful. Shockingly, there are a few ff scenes in the story but only one love for heroine. The story was however a bit too long and one or two random things didn’t work for me, still as whole this is a good solid read. The author captured both main characters feelings of wanting, heartbreak, and love very well while the story is so much more than sex with one another.

The heroine, Helen Palmer has been secretively crushing on her art teacher, Mr. Roberts for twelve years. In just a few months she will graduating and continuing onto college. Well that is until her most private fantasies fall into Mr. Robert’s hands through racy sketches she has done and there no mistaking who she dreams of each and every night.

”Innocent. The girl was innocent. Yet her sketches were anything but.”

description

The story is told in dual POVS of Helen and Mark Roberts. There is much more than sex scenes in their encounters however the author does indeed get dirty with their interactions…

”I wanted him to tie me up, and make me spread my legs for him…and make me feel so dirty…teach me to be so dirty…
description

Helen is young and naïve while knowing about BDSM but yet she’s a virgin and socially only truly has one friend at school. Her imagination is vast and her creativity and talent immense. Mr. Roberts starts off being there as a teacher and friend and slowly he can’t resist this beautiful young woman who proclaims her love for him.

”How do you know my ambitions are low, just because you’re in them? Every dream that’s every mattered to me has you in it.”

Mr. Robert’s has been alone for many years and Helen’s love breathes life back into him. Their connection was well portrayed as they fall in love and later defend their relationship. Helen and Mark’s story is an emotional journey for both characters and what they find in one another was special and believable.

”You’re far better than any sketch I’ve ever done.”

Sexiness: 4 Stars

Average: 2.8 Stars

Helen Palmer may only be eighteen years old, but she's known what she wants since she was twelve. And what she wants is Mr. Roberts, her art teacher. He's the only one that understands her artistic soul and doesn't tell her art is a waste of her time. She lives out her fantasies in her sketchbook, but this is her last year before going away to college and drawings just aren't enough for her anymore. It's a risk, but she needs to know if Mr. Roberts could maybe want her too, so she'll do what ever she has to to find out.

Rating this book was very difficult because there were a lot of parts that I liked, but the parts I didn't really had an impact on my enjoyment of the book. The story started off great and I was super into the story, especially the parts with Helen and her best friend. But as the story progressed I started to lose interest and got bored waiting for something to happen between Helen and Mr. Roberts.

The time from when the flirting started to when they actually got together is what killed the book for me. In that time Helen became so annoying and was acting really immature to the point I wanted to smack her, again and again and, well you get my point. The outbursts she would have and the screaming and crying because she didn't get her way were just too much for me. The whole middle of the book seemed more like a YA story rather than a erotic story and I just couldn't handle it.

Luckily the story picked up when Helen and Mr. Roberts finally got together and there wasn't so much drama. From there I started to get back into it and I loved Mr. Roberts. I feel like that's when we started to learn the important things about him and it really made a difference in his character. The book finally changed from the YA feel to an erotica feel and I can't say it was anywhere near as sexy as Jade West's other books but it was definitely up there on the sexiness charts. If I ever had a teacher like Mr. Roberts I would have been lusting after him too!

I had some problems with the story and there were moments I didn't have any interest in what I was reading, but the overall story was good and I enjoyed it. I wish Helen would have been a better character for me, but in the end Mr. Roberts made up for what I didn't like about her. Even with the issues I had I would still recommend this book.

Re-read review 2/22/22

I’m not sure how many times I’ve re-read this but it never fails to delight me each and every time. I love how real and gritty and immature the emotions are. Together Mr Roberts and Helen are magic. The steam is out of this world and never fails to get my engine revving. I even love when everything inevitably falls apart because of the way they claw back to each other.

I know there’s some dissent about Helen’s character being too immature. But honestly I think that’s part of the beauty. She’s 18, I know I wasn’t very mature at 18. Plus it proves Mark’s enduring love for her. This is the equivalent of loving someone not only at their very best but also at their very worst. This might be the truest love I’ve ever read.

We also get the most beautiful goodbye to his long deceased wife. The transition between these two women that he loved equally but differently was done with grace, and so many raw emotions. Jade is a master equally in both eroticism and raw emotions.

Re-read review 5/25/21

Mark Roberts is the perfect man in my most humble opinion. His soft voice, his cool collected temperament, his understanding. Even when he consistently tries to do what’s right even though it’s not what he wants. I bet he has beautiful hands that match his gorgeous soul.

I think this one is so under appreciated. Obviously it’s salacious and emotional as all of Jade’s books are. But it’s also gorgeously inspired by her artistic characters. She painted glorious pictures in words to describe everything.

It’s weird to say but the painting born from gut wrenching pain is my favorite part. Because it’s raw and real and primordial in its angst. I can’t imagine anything more beautiful then something born out of the ultimate pain.

Original review 9/10/20

I’m becoming a huge fan of Jade West and this one might be my favorite. Mark Roberts is by far my favorite character she’s written. I enjoyed the fact that Teach Me Dirty was the least taboo one I’ve read but the emotions were over the top and I love that.

I thought he handled the sketchbook situation considerably well. He didn’t shoot her down, didn’t make her feel awful but made it clear that this was about her and only her. But that wouldn’t make for much of a book. This is fantasy and if your reading this particular book, you want the dirt, the dirtier the better.

Lizzie so far is a great friend and adorable to boot. And then she wasn’t so great, it’s very odd. It’s not odd that it’s 2 girls but that it’s not consensual. It’s not good and it makes me sad. Crazy what this book is about and it’s what’s going on between the girls that’s so very wrong.

Honestly my stomach dropped at the art gallery when the lady made the comment about Mark being Helen’s dad but he surprised me. He keeps surprising me with how well he handles situations. Especially when she told him about the discovery of his private pictures/videos. The man’s a goddam treasure.

Helen is extremely hypocritical but I get it. Even if I don’t agree. And then the painting, probably the most emotional thing I’ve ever read. It was heartbreaking and ugly and angry and beautiful. Which pretty much sums up this book except it was more beautiful then anything else.

Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

Mark Roberts had a passion for art. As an art teacher, he was admired by a lot of his students not only for his talent but also his good looks. But they were harmless crushes until his long time student started to evoke something deep within him.

Helen Palmer had a bright future in art. However, her interest was not only in the subject but her also her teacher who she had been crushing on since she was just a young girl. She figured it was time to finally to make it known, consequences be damned.

Student-teacher story is not something I usually seek, but since it’s Jade West, I just had to read this one. And I have to say I am pleasantly surprised how different it is from her previous works.

Mr Roberts the man wanted to taste Helen Palmer’s dirty fantasies. Every single one of them. Every single part of her.

Due to the major age difference, I’m glad Mark didn’t turn out like a creep haha! He was professional and respectful where it concern. As the adult, he took his responsibility seriously.

Helen was a typical teenager with her own set of insecurities and growing pains. One thing for sure, she knew what she wanted and she went for it. That is a quality to be admired even if it was unconventional. But still, she wasn’t selfish about it.

Every morning I feared I would break, and take the weak option, the selfish option, and cave and watch his world fall down while I cried on the sidelines.

Like I mentioned earlier, this book is different from the author’s previous works. It’s not just about the kinky fuckery. The story was engaging with some angst and heartbreak.

“Touch yourself, I don’t mind. We’re best friends forever, Hels, we can share anything. Anything, I promise.”

Speaking of sexy scenes, there were some very interesting ones between the main characters. And there were also some very sexy scenes involving F/F :p

Teach Me Dirty is a sexy story of forbidden love between individuals with similar soul who happened to be in difficult circumstances.

This is going to be so difficult to review, I went from liking to hating to loving this book. I went through a massive tumult of emotions, and still not sure how I really feel.

Teach Me Dirty is a student/teacher romance, set in the small country of Wales in a relatively small town. Helen Palmer is an eighteen-year-old sixth form student who has been in love with her art teacher since the age of twelve. Mr. Roberts is a widower, who has always been aware of the crush Helen has had on him, but it's not until he spends more time with her as an adult that he really discovers how much he has come to care about her.

"You’re a beautiful, talented, vivacious young woman, Helen. More beautiful than ever because you have no idea how beautiful you really are."

I absolutely loved these two together and adored their interactions. Helen was typically immature at times and had her insecurities, but also had an old soul and appreciated things that a normal teenager wouldn't be into. Mark Roberts was such a pleasant surprise, he was so understanding and sweet, but when it came down to the nitty gritty, he was a very considerate and dominant lover.

"Mr Roberts the man wanted to taste Helen Palmer’s dirty fantasies. Every single one of them. Every single part of her."

This is a story of two people who are meant to be together, and face huge obstacles that interfere with their future path. Not only is Mark a teacher and authoritative person in Helen's life, but Helen's family would not be happy to hear the news of their relationship.

"I was transfixed by her. I was consumed by her. And I was perplexed by how a lust so forbidden could feel so divine."

I have to mention the role that Helen's best friend Lizzie played in the plot, and if I am honest I really didn't like it and felt it detracted from the beauty of the story. There are some f/f scenes with dubious consent, and it didn't sit well with me and I had to put the book down for a few days and decide whether to continue. Saying that, I am extremely glad I did carry on because I slowly grew to love the characters and their illicit affair.

It's a very long book, and I feel that it could have been condensed slightly but overall I did enjoy this read and would recommend to those who crave a forbidden love story.

Teach Me Dirty is a standalone erotic romance, told in dual POV

This just really didn't work for me at all. I found the heroine to be quite immature and her behavior almost childlike. It wasn't sexy to read her begging (yes, begging) him to love her, fuck her (not in a sexy way), be with her, or not to push her away. She was so immature and her obsession with him just turned me off.
Hero was still just too much in love with his dead ex wife. I mean toward the later half of be book he practically has a melt down cleaning out all her things (she died 9 years ago) from the house. The heroine even helps him pack it up, which was just too bizarre to me.

I'm not interested in heroes that are still in love with their dead wife. I don't care if it makes me insensitive. I absolutely felt like the heroine was second best and that had his wife still been alive there's no way he'd have ever ended up with the heroine. He was so in love with his ex wife the heroine wouldn't have even been on his radar.

Meh.

Title: Teach Me Dirty
Author: Jade West
Series or Standalone: Standalone

POV: Dual
Characters: 5
Plot: 5
Scorching Level: 5
HEA: Not telling

I love Jade West. Her Dirty Bad books are some of my favorite reads of 2015! This book promises and doesn't disappoint!

Mr Roberts the teacher and Mr Roberts the man rarely cross paths.
They don't need to.
They've never needed to.
Until now.
Until her.

Mr Roberts teaches art class in Helen Palmer's high school. Since she was twelve years old, Helen has had odd feelings towards her lovable and very handsome teacher. But she never showed it. She just gave herself into her studies and particularly, her art. Helen is an amazing painter and Mark Roberts sees a fellow spirit in her work. He encourages and helps her to express herself through her art and everything is as it should be...until an accidental peek into her private sketchbook changes everything.

I'm a good teacher. Just not today. Today I was just a man.
A man who wanted something he should never want.

One sketch. One moment in time and Helen's desires are out in the open.
But Mark Roberts isn't a man to insult and offend. He is kind and that will make things even more difficult. When he realizes that Helen sees him differently, he allows himself to consider in letting himself give in to his own feelings.
They start a tentative friendship that crosses over the school's borders and in each other they will find companionship. But temptation is everywhere and Mark is certain that he cannot stay away from his favorite student.

She had no idea what a forbidden fruit she was.

He knows their close relationship is wrong and that it threatens to ruin their lives and his career. Still...

I swallowed before succumbing to the inevitable crossing another line that should never been crossed.
"It's Mark," I said. "You should call me Mark."

Lines are crossed and boundaries are pushed.
Helen is a young woman who feels alone. She fears that no one understands her, not even her family. She is hesitant about going to university, but most of all she fears leaving Mark Roberts behind.

I wished the world was full of fences and he'd have to help me over every single one for the rest of time.

Their bond is beautiful and yes, the book is spicy, but it's not just about the physical aspect of their relationship. The development is gradual, their affair blossoms slowly and beautifully. They connect on a deeper level.
I fell in love with this book. I cannot wait for readers to experience this gem!!! Jade West as you've never seen her before!!! This book surpassed every expectation I had! The love story is epic and at times filled with angst.
I felt Mark's inner conflict. I felt how deeply he cared and loved Helen, making their story even more tragic in all its forbidden glory.

Wait for me. Wait until you're older and I'm just a man, wait until this can be something.
And I'll be there. I promise I'll be there.

The writing is fantastic. Mrs. West manages to create a deeply engaging storyline, with relatable characters and an epic love story. The secondary characters really add to the story and give it complexity.
One of the best teacher/student romances I've had the pleasure of reading.
Do not miss this book.

I liked it, but I didn’t love it..
It’s probably my state of mind because it had Jade’s signature kink, with
Some very intense sex scenes and yet, I found myself skimming to get through it.
Still a very hot read, and I would definitely recommend it.

I usually like Jade West’s old works but this just did not work for me. I found everyone of these characters annoying. The FMC was so immature(she’s only 18 years so who can blame her) the last 10% of the book was her crying on every page…ugh!!!!!

The smut was point though….very Jade West like

I mean hot damn, this woman can write. Great sex + a strong plot + well written characters? And did I mention the sex? *fans self*

I'm a good teacher. Just not today. Today I was just a man.

Mr. Roberts is a 38 year old art teacher. Helen is his 18 year old art student. A mutual passion for art drew them together but lately their thoughts have been more on their flaming loins than on the canvas. Soon enough they discover this feeling is mutual, but banging your teacher isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Sure it's technically legal, but is it ethical? Then there's the matter of what people will say, and what about their future? What's a couple of horny artists in love to do?

One thing Teach Me Dirty does really well is not dismiss ethical concerns. He is in a position of power over her. He's been her mentor for years. I like that it has Mr. Roberts wrestle with these concerns, and not just go, "Well, she's 18, it's legal, time to get my dick in her."

They spend time thinking about the practicalities of their situation. I liked that. I also liked that they were very well rounded characters. God, that's such an overused phrase: well-rounded characters. I'm going to start saying that they are as satisfying and baked to perfection as the perfect pizza. Pizza-perfect®.

That's not to say that there aren't flaws. Of course there are. Books and their characters wouldn't be what they are without flaws. At one point, Mr. Roberts incurred the wrath of Ellen Gail. It's not a pretty sight. You don't want to see my wrath. Lots of teeth-grinding and I get all red faced.

So, sexy teacher man's wife was killed by a drunk driver years ago. When poor Helen is drunker than a skunk and needs a place to crash (although not much crashing gets done *wink wink*), she naturally gives her good ole teacher a call. Only one problem. He's drunk.

What does he do? POP QUIZ!
A) Drive and get her anyway like a fucking dumbass, because he can be really careful
B) Call her a cab and pay for it like a gentleman
C) Send a coworker to get her despite their situation
D) Walk to meet her halfway despite the cold

Answer: A. Of course it's A. The dumb fuck. Can I smack fictional characters with a brick?

You know, aside from that incidence of SUPREME dumbassery, Mr. Roberts was a pretty cool character. He really cared about his students. He wouldn't schedule dates with Helen unless she was caught up on her classes. "Helen, you don't get this D unless you get an A." - paraphrasing.

The only thing that majorly bugged me about Helen was her teenageness. I know, I know, she's 18. There's a lot of drama to be expected. I don't think anyone expects perfect rationality from someone that age. But it got old. I just wanted to shake her and yell, "It's not the end of the world!"

I was happy that Mr. Roberts and Helen's relationship was given such a chance to simmer and develop. It gave them a lot of time of grow. Their love was actually pretty believable, and I'm a big old cynic. But this? THIS?

The creature in my arms was more than I could understand, more than I could rationalize or fathom. She was beauty, and life, and soul. She was the promise in the morning light and the curious shadow of twilight. She was the ghost of winter in the autumn shade. She was the the green of freshly mown grass, and the scent of cinnamon on the breeze. She was indigo pink, and rain on my cheeks. She was a sacred treasure and nothing less.

I can do ooey gooey romantic crap. I can even do what some may call sappy sometimes. But that? I think I rolled my eyes so hard I sprained them. I know they love each other, but damn.

Mr. Roberts, I know you think the sun rises and sets out of her perfect ass, but newsflash: no. It does not. Dial it back on the butt sunsets.

Long story short: It's not my fave Jade West, but it is very good. The sex is hot, the characters are Pizza-perfect®, and it's a very easy, enjoyable read.

Didn't like Lizzy. I knew what was going on with her the whole time. All of it. I didn't like that she took advantage of her "bestie" the way she did. That's basically rape. She should have known better.

Didn't like her father. Him telling her to get a REAL job was fucked up. You're supposed to support her dreams and talents not put them down. He thought her as naive and childish. She was 18 not 15. Big difference when you can make it on your own in the world. He needed to calm the hell down.

Took a bit of time for them to actually be together. I get that the relationship had to grow and progress but it just felt like it took too long, maybe because the book was longer than the ones I've been reading lately.

A little push and pull and of course a bunch of I'm doing what's right for you. It happens now in what seems like every book. Why can't the H/h's be strong minded and resilient and stick to their guns, why do they all think they know what's best for the other person and make choices for each other. Be your own person. It gets too tiring reading the same thing all the time.

I liked mark once they were together.
I liked Helens devotion to Mark, the girl knew what she wanted from day 1.
I liked their relationship when they were in a bubble.
Teacher/Student and older man younger woman themes are some of my favorites so I liked that we got both.

I think this may have been under 'erotica' but it really didn't seem that way to me. It started off with a bit of kink or kink fantasy but it wasn't really explored all that much maybe 3 times. It was a major thing when the book started but lost its fizzle after they got together. Almost as if it was forgotten half way through.

Would have liked a longer epilogue. It just seemed like the book was longer than needed and the epilogue was too short with nothing interesting to add.

One of the best books I have read this year. Jade always manages to surprise me with her uniqueness and her style of writing. She can write on the commonest topic on earth and yet make it hooking with her different style. This book was the same. When I came to know Jade was going to write a teacher/student romance, I knew it was going to rock. I went in with few ideas of how it is going to be yet knowing Jade was going to surprise me again. This book did that to me. She has surpassed all my expectations. This is one of the best student/teacher love story. The art described in the book is so beautiful and raw that it adds to the depth of the character of Mark and Helen. Their attraction wasn't been easy. I loved their interaction, their need and the raw sexual tension that was oozing was scorching hot! Their conversation worth reading again and again. I love it when author creates the tension so bad that you are strung up on the characters. holding your breathe at what will happen next. My heart was blossoming and rejoicing in their love.

I loved loved Mark and how he was so protective towards Helen. He was torn between his need and duty. Helen- A girl I have a girl crush on. It's not easy being eighteen and everyone not taking you seriously. I loved her passion, her attitude.

The secondary characters are no less interesting than the main characters. I hope you love them as you did.

The story will not disappoint you. The characters won't disappoint you. The tension will not disappoint you.

Highly recommend this book!!

Holy HOTNESS - this book is on fire. This is one of those books that once you start, you don't put it down till it is finished. This was my first Jade West book. I have always seen her books and wanted to read them. I am so glad I started with this one. She does not disappoint at all! Mr. Roberts lives up to the title, he really does teach Helen dirty. The story line hooks you in the first sentence and keeps you held captive till the very last word. It is so intensely hot I would not recommend reading it in public lol.

The whole student/teacher subject is so taboo. But Jade didn't make Helen and Mr. Robert's story demeaning in anyway. Her writing was so captivating and flowed beautifully. This book is very much worth reading!

Dear god that was hawt. Forbidden, naughty, a little kinky and a lot intense. I love student-teacher stories and this is one of the best I've read. I cannot lie, I was listening to one sex scene as I walked to work and I suddenly found I was walking a bit funny...

Lovely writing style too. The story is totally different but the style reminds me of Unteachable. My favourite Jade West to date. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this book! And I want more!

After reading the past series by Ms. West, I was expecting more along the same lines. I knew it would be different after reading the description, but this blew me away!

Mr. Roberts is an art teacher in a high school. And the “secret” love of one of his students. While she is 18, he knows that if he acts on his feelings at all, the results could be disastrous.

Helen is a senior in high school. She has also be in love with Mr. Roberts for as long as she can remember. When she finally decides she is going to act on those feelings… She gets the lesson of her life.

While I am not typically one to read a student/teacher romance, I am so glad I did Teach Me Dirty. This book was very hot, but it also had a lot of little lessons thrown into the mix that we all need to learn. The story was one that was able to suck me in and spit me out, staring at my family and wondering where the last few hours had gone. ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

I have been a fan of Ms. West since the Dirty Bad series and while this story had the forbidden-ness I have come to expect from her stories, it wasn’t as dark—and I loved it!

“Oh God, Lizzie, I want him. I want him to make me bad…”

Helen Palmer has had a crush on Mr. Roberts since she was 12 years old. It was an infatuation that everyone figured she would outgrow. But she never did. She knew what she wanted and she wanted Mr. Roberts. And she wanted him to teach her how to be bad, dirty, kinky.

“I’m a good teacher. Just not today. Today I was just a man. A man who wanted something he should never want.”

Mr. Roberts is a good teacher and he has been able to separate his teacher side with his man side for as long as he can remember. Until her… Helen Palmer. And the temptress kept trying his patience, his restraint, his control. Until he no longer could.

“I was transfixed by her. I was consumed by her. And I was perplexed by how a lust so forbidden could feel so divine.”

I loved this story! It was forbidden and dirty, but it was also full of hope and love. It was hot as hell while sweet as sin! I couldn’t put it down and had to know how Helen and Mr. Robert’s story was going to play out.

The cast of characters was perfect and I adored Helen’s Mum, especially at the end! I look forward to many more amazing books from Ms. West! ~ Tiffany, 4.5 stars

my type of student/teacher book. definitely on the higher end of the taboo scale compared to the play it safe student/teacher books i have read and seen around the last year.. mostly because i liked the age gap here. it made it more.. dare i say, dirty?

i had moments i loved and moments that i disliked but overall a solid read. fans of erotica will want to give it a go. the book touches on bdsm play and while not something i normally go full on crazy for, it was hot here. you can tell the author is an erotica writer.

our heroine, helen was believable. she's very much an 18 year old at time's but she knew who she was and who she wanted. her teacher, mark reynolds was interesting. he goes on an emotional journey himself throughout the book. it was a believeable connection these two shared.

even if at times the book did feel like it was getting a bit long winded with all the art talk and i could see the drama with helen's best friend lizzie coming from a mile away, it's still a good one. kept my attention. (i liked helen's father! he stole some of the scenes tbh.)

basically if you want a naughty, dirty read that still has some believability this may fit the bill nicely.

I wanted to like this, I really did! The blurb was promising and I felt like it could've been so much more! But too many things took away my interest in this. It started off really slow and I found myself skimming thru alot of it just to get to the dirty parts. I lost interest at parts and was bored in others.

LIZZIE....ugh I didn't trust this chick from the beginning. I knew she was sketchy and had some issues and the things she did to Helen were obviously not what a friend does.

Helen was sooooooo immature, she frustrated me. She was so needy and whiney and her age showed. I just wanted to slap her and tell her to grow the f*ck up!!

I enjoyed the smut and especially liked the "teaching" her dirty things aspect of it, but that didn't take off til about the 60% mark. I almost DNF'd it but I pushed thru most of it, then skimmed through and finally just went to the end to see how it ended

Synopsis
"They tell me it’s unhealthy, just a stupid crush.
They tell me it’s infatuation, and will never come to anything. Never mean anything.
Because what would I know, right?
I haven’t even finished school. I’m just a silly little girl.

And no little girl should want the things I want from him.
No little girl should have the thoughts I have…

But they’re wrong.
I really do love Mr Roberts.
I love Mr Roberts because he’s the most amazing man, the most amazing artist, the most amazing teacher that could ever have existed.

And what if… just what if Mr Roberts wants me, too?
What if Mr Roberts really does want to Teach Me Dirty?"

WHT THE FUCK IF IS THIS?!?!
I don't know weather to laugh at this or be sad.
No one can be this fucked in the head to write this kind of shit.

I did enjoy this overall.

However, it felt a touch too long for me, and a bit slow in building up. The heroine came across very young for her age, and tbh, other than a shared love of art, at times I struggled to see why the hero would be so into her.

The few f/f scenes I did not like, they edged too close into drunken dub con territory for me, and in all honesty I did not expect them in the book.

I really enjoyed that it was dual POV, as it really helped being in the hero's head and seeing just how much he truly cared for the heroine and how much he struggled with the attraction and then the love he felt for her.

And this book was hot hot hot!

Overall 3.5 stars, as I enjoyed it, and again a very well developed story by this author, just not my favourite by her.

5 Naughty-Taboo-Stars! ☆☆☆☆☆
I loved it! This was one of the best taboo stories i read. :) It was a sweet, sexy, suspenseful and drama fueled romance.
And when I say sexy, I mean panty melting sexy! When Mr Roberts jerked off to a video of Helen playing with herself (that got recorded by accident), i thought my heart would stop. Lol. But beyond that, there was tons of hot sex in this book. And with the trill of almost getting caught numerous amounts of times, my heart was racing with every chapter.
I was hooked before i even began the first chapter, when i was met by the caption, “Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable – Cesar Cruz” ...and just that quick, i knew i was going to enjoy this book. I just didn't know how much. :)
This book accomplished the one thing no other book or porno was able to do; make me like a lesbian sex scene. :) The moment Lizzie started seducing Helen, my heart sank to my feet and i think i swallowed my tongue, lol, cuz i swear i didn't breathe. It was like time stopped and i became incredibly turned on. Mind you, this never happens. I cant stand girl on girl action for some reason. Maybe its played out or maybe its just so boring that i rather lick the wall. But that scene was hot!
I liked Mr. Roberts a lot. His character was hot and smart and caring and so in control the whole time, it drove me insane! :) i loved it when Helen refused to call him Eric and instead called him Mr. Roberts. It made their relationship seem that much more naughty.
Helen was a sweet girl, who sadly had over controlling parents. she wasn't popular or loud like her wild friend Lizzie. This talented, young minded girl had a big heart and even naughtier fantasies. I loved the part when her professor found her drawings of him tying her up and f#%king her senseless. :)
Without giving too much away, i loved it. I loved the characters, the story and the plot twists. It was just great. :)

Another Great Read i loved this story it was in no way like the Dirty Bad Books but it is a Dirty Book, i never expected so much heartache and tears to come from this author and i was totally blindsided and a blubbering mess ! The Sex is sooo HOT but the story in itself will put you through the wringer and you will feel like you lived inside this world and felt all their pain.

Helen she is so confused and in love and i felt so heartbroken for her at times and then other times i wanted to shake a bit of sense into her !

Lizzie needs a hard clatter i did feel a little sorry for her towards the end but not sure it was enough not to slap her and Helen should have throatpunched her Da and i want to say so much but i can't and it's killing me but i do not want to spoil it for anyone else.

Mark is my hero i loved him Alpha strong and soft in all the right places, i wanted to wrap him up and bring him home and mind him <3

Would Mark be my book boyfriend ? he'll yes he is my book husband #claimed hands off ladies this man is mine !

This is my First book by This author and I really enjoyed her writing style.

Teach me dirty is A student/ teacher romance set in A small country of wales. Helen palmer is an 18 year Old student who has been in love With her art teacher. Mr robers ( Mark ) is A widower, who has always been aware of Helen and The crush she had. But it’s not until he spends more time With her that he really discovers how much he has come to care about her.

I loved Mark and Helen so much. Helen is definitely immature and has a lot of insecurities. Her soul was much older than she is, she appreciated things that a normal 18 year old wouldn't do.
Mark is so much understanding Helen and sweet. Helen is a good artist and makes beautiful art. Mark loved the art Helen made and encouraged her too.
I thought the build-up between Mark and Helen was very well written. They got to know each other more and dared to share more with each other.
Unfortunately, once Helen's father found out, I found the story to deteriorate. Missed the depth and thought it was a bit more rushed. It wasn't as well written as before
The spice scènes where amazing! So much details
The ending was okay, I didn’t think It was amazing and what i wanted.
I would have liked an ending which is more of a HEA where you really read everyone's acceptance of their relationship despite the age difference

It has taken me a few days to compartmentalise my feelings towards this book.

I love a good teacher/student romance, I adore age gap romances and I thoroughly enjoy reading them. To be entirely honest I enjoyed this one when I first started it; right up until the 25% mark, that is.

Helen Palmer (referred to as such throughout the whole book), loves Mr Roberts (again, constantly referred to as such) and has drawn many a dirty illustration as a way to vent her desires. One day the sketchbook is dropped on the floor and picked up by none other than Mr Roberts, and lo and behold the illustration that the book landed on is possibly the raunchiest one in the entire thing. Just her luck, right?! So at this point I'm really feeling the book. It's tense, almost amusing, and I'm waiting to see what happens next. She leaves him, a little dumbfounded, and avoids him for a week or so afterwards... But after that, the whole story descends into a pit of misery and discomfort.

Marked as spoilers from hereon out because I go into a lot of detail about the issues I had about this story.

I liked the writing to a certain point but it was far too detailed in areas wherein detail needed to be minimal and not detailed enough where the story required more. The characters were 'meh' at best. I can't say I particularly cared for Mark, though he definitely had his moments. Helen was okay, her father was an abomination and an absolute disgrace (he was also massively verbally abusive), and Lizzie was vile. I just... can't with this book. I'm so dismayed that I really liked the start of it and it quickly got burned to dust.

I feel I need to end this review with a very light disclaimer. I have perceived this book in one way and you may perceive it in another. If you loved this book then that is your right, and I am not going to judge anyone that does adore this book and I would expect the same in return. We like what we like to read (regardless of whether we agree with the characters' actions), and that's that.

DNF. This isn’t a safe book at all. I went into it expecting m/f but there’s a HEAVY dose of f/f. I haven’t read one before and wasn’t expecting it at all. But tbh I kinda liked it so I kept reading… 👀🔥 But then, there was a noncon f/f scene and that hits way too close to home for me. 😭
