It’s like a fairy tale when Dominic rescues Lily from a bad situation in Mexico. He sweeps her off her feet and into marriage within a week. It’s only after the wedding that she discovers her husband has more in common with Machiavelli than Prince Charming. The ruthless mobster deliberately targeted her as a bargaining chip to use against her father, who is heading up an investigation into the Rinaldi family’s mafia ties. Their relationship is a merger, not a marriage. He believes Lily is sweet and subservient. He actually thinks she won’t give him any trouble at all.
Her new husband has another think coming.

Kit lives in Idaho with her husband and two sons. She enjoys writing several genres and subgenres. When she started publishing, dinosaurs roamed the earth, and authors had one pen name with their publisher. That was the name you wrote everything under, no matter how dissimilar. Thanks to advances in publishing, it's now easy to have more than one pen name, and many readers have come to expect a certain type of book experience from each author. The "brand," if you will. Kit's catalog makes it difficult to tell what brand you're getting, so she has "co-authored" each type with a pen name, so you'll know what kind of book to expect. * Paranormal Romances (including shifters): Kit Fawkes and Kit Tunstall * Contemporary romance with some steam, but not erotic: Lilly LaRue and Kit Tunstall * Contemporary romances that are erotic: Kit Kyndall and Kit Tunstall * Edgier works (including fertile erotic romances, bad boys, and stepbrothers): Kristianna Sawyer and Kit Tunstall * Science fiction romance: Aurelia Skye and Kit Tunstall. * Horror and post-apocalyptic: T.K. I was thinking at first what is Dominic's angle towards Lily, at first Lily is a means to an end for Dominic and at the begining I really liked him, but when he and his plan is exposed my heart hurt for Lily. I will say that I admired Lily and how she dealt with Dominics betrayal, she totally had me cheering her on from the sideline. It is only when both Dominic and Lily are faced with a life and death experience that they admit their true feelings for one another. I like that the author keeps true to her characters and doesn't short chage them.

MERGER by R.E. Saxton
This isn't a fairy tale marriage but one of convenience, at least thats what Dominic Rinaldi keeps telling himself. Except a week into the marriage he realises that that's not what he wants at all, and that he actually loves her. But is it too late? Has too much damage been done? One thing he does know is his not giving up on his wife without a fight.
Lily met and married her Prince Charming within a week of knowing him. At first Lily is blissful and happy, but she soon finds out his not who he appeared to be. But it's too late, she already married him and his not letting her go. The ruthless mobster targeted her for who she is and she will never forgive him for that, for what his done to her and her family.
Her husband thinks their relationship is a merger, not a marriage. He thinks Lily is sweet and submissive. He thinks she will accept whatever he tells her. He couldn't be more wrong, and his about to find out just how wrong his been.
This is the third book in the Triple Threat series, and a very entertaining read. I loved the storyline, although getting married within the week was a little too unbelievable. The characters were likable and I loved the fact that both Dominic and Lily were as stubborn as each other. It was nice to catch up with the other characters from the previous books. However my only issue is that there were parts in this book that weren't really necessary, but other than that it was an enjoyable read!
*** Received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review *** This is an outstanding addition to the Triple Threat series. The story of Lily Faulkner and Dominic Rinaldi meeting was initially a set-up but played out to Dominic's advantage with a jerk named Paul, who grew hands like an octopus. Dominic assisted with rescuing a damsel in distress and his plans fell right in place to detour an investigation of his family. This was a softer side of Dominic that we previously had not seen. His dominant alpha side was still there, but a tender loving side entered the picture when he rescued Lily and listening to her heartfelt life story. His plans to swoon and marry Lily was not for love but protection of the family empire and detour an investigation of his family until he wakes up to the realization that it's LOVE after all! I had a problem with the insta-marriage but had to remember the author plot which I thought was awesome. Dominic married a acumen, naïveté young college student but ended up with a gallant spitfire, who knows what time of day it was.. I also loved the recapture of events from the other characters from the previous books. This is an awesome story!!
Ruthless and protective, Dominic will do anything to protect his family—including lying to an innocent young woman and trapping her into a loveless mob marriage. It’s easy to love to hate Dominic, especially with how he treats Lily.
I love the way that Lily stands up for herself and doesn’t just give in to Dominic. She goes down swinging.
We catch up with the Rinaldi clan at family dinners and get to revisit couples from previous books. There’s also a part of that first dinner that will satisfy readers who do not like how Lily is treated.
I enjoyed reading this book, but the ending is rushed. It felt like I skipped over part of the book. The story suddenly switches from anger and conflict to happy ever after. Even a few chapters of Dominic going from manipulative extortionist a-hole to besotted husband would smooth out the transition.

This is the third book in the Triple Threat series. Dominic Rinaldi is the oldest of his identical triplets, he's the head of the mafia and he runs the city along with his two brothers. After everything that happened in book #2 Dominic comes up with a plan to make sure the the Police Commissioner closes the case he has on them. He is determined to protect his brothers and their families by making sure they don't end up in prison and he will do whatever it takes. Lily is in Mexico for spring break with her catty sorority sisters when one of their boyfriends hits on her. Dominic has been watching Lily for a while and he takes the opportunity to save her when she's ditched by her friends and left with nowhere to stay. Lily is intrigued by the gorgeous stranger who offers to share his hotel suite with her for the rest of the trip. What will happen when Lily discovers that her meeting Dominic wasn't by chance but rather a well thought out plan ?
This is the third story in the Triple Threat Trilogy and it did not disappoint. Each story is a stand alone. This one is about the oldest brother Dominic and Lily. Dominic is determined to help his family and comes up with a plan to get the police commissioner to back down for good. Little does Lily know that she is the plan. There is some good steamy scenes and drama when it all comes out about his plan. If you like to read good love stories with some dark to them, this is the story for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, hope you do as well.

Lily was in Mexico to enjoy spring break when her sorority sisters turned on her. Dominic was there to offer her a place to stay, so she didn't have to call her father for funds to get home. Lily and Dominic fly to Vegas, elope and then return home. Lily eavesdrops on a conversation between Dominic and her father, and finds out that she was just a means to an end. Lily will have to overcome her anger with Dominic, and he will have to admit he is in love with his wife before they can have their happily ever after. Fantastic book!
I received an ARC for an honest review of "Merger." I loved Dominic and Lily's story. Domminic was a little softer in this story (he wanted to kill his brother's baby momma in another book because she was a murder witness). He romanced and manipulated Lily to save his family from her father, all the while falling for her. He had underestimated Lily's strength when she discovered the truth. She gave him a run for his money! Excellent read!
Best three book I've read three brothers triplets quiet a mess they are something else you c section nth h r l.P. but love them that's what these girls did once they got by that they where mafia but love one out you need to read these books you will really enjoy them I did so read and enjoy kit is a great author you will love her stories try them Margie
I thought Dominic ruined it when he met her father. He is definitely an alpha male. I loved it when she sent Claudia the bleach blonde tramp packing. I love a female lead character has some balls. She talks no shit off of Dominic. He needs a wife like that. The ending made me almost cry. Good book in the series! Must read series.
Another great addition to the series. I loved Lily, she started out shy and naive, but then kicked it gear giving as good as she got. Dominic was quite a larger than life alpha. Hot and dominating along with caring and loving. The only reason again for four instead of five stars was the quick ending. I really wanted more. Other than that, a great ending to the series.
Boy Lily falls for Dominic pretty quick but he is seducing her so that's understandable. No one gets kidnapped in book 3 but there is some mild violence. This book is more low keyed than the first two. I hope Amber gets a book so she gets her HEA now that's she's been devastated by family betrayal (in her eyes).
