After struggling with her husband & marriage for quite some time, Safa Joyner becomes frustrated and wants a resolution. However, her husband Darius is too pigheaded to work on it, since—in his mind—he is not the problem. Tired of being kept under lock and key—and completely controlled by Darius, Safa makes a trip back to her old neighborhood to see her grandmother against Darius’s wishes, and everything changes. Safa meets Kordell, a sexy, street boxer who gives her what she's been missing out on. They begin an affair that pulls Safa even further away from her marriage. After some major flare ups, Safa finds herself questioning everything. Was her marriage a mistake? Is Kordell the one? Could she really give up everything for him? And what will happen if Darius finds out? So many things are shaken up when a woman gets fed up.
Some men have all the nerve. Think just because they have the money a woman should do as they command. But they don’t want the woman to have any freedom to do as she pleases but will go out whoring and everything else. I can’t wait to see how this plays out with Darius and Safa
The book had me hook from the very first page. There were so !many twists and turns and plots that had me on the edge of my seat. Just wished the story didn't leave me with a cliffhanger. Would have loved to read the book from beginning to end instead of in parts.!
Books like this is make me hate niggasssss more than I already do. Whyyy you feel like because you are a man , you have the right to cheat on your wife ? If she ain’t doing things you like, talk to her or y’all work on it—make her feel desired. You could bring out the freak in her.
And this self righteous attitude and thinking you are a god and ruler of all—bitxxxhhhhh ‼️ and thennn, have the nerve to fxck the friend ?? And the friend trifling af too.
But anywayyyy, I’m GLAD she found some good 🍆 to relax her. Mind you the all crazy but at least she got satisfaction first. Lol. Kordell that nigga! 😎 but I still didn’t loveee the book. Probably won’t get to part 2.

This story was crazy. Safa was looking to get out of the hood and she did by getting married to someone who could help her, however she didn't see what she was going to endure while being married to Darius. Now she meets Kordell who gives her what she is not getting at home from her husband and seems to find herself possibly with another controlling man. Now she has left Darius to run off to her Nana thinking that all is well. I wonder what will happen in the next book now that Darius is going to the one place that he know she will be going to.
Safa did everything to remain a faithful wife but disrespect herself and have a 3sum with her husband just so he could be pleased. He wasn’t grateful at all and was cheating. Maybe if he treated her better she may have agreed to do the 3sum but he was an ass all the time. Like she was his slave that’s how he treated her. I’m glad safa did get away because she wasn’t happy and always seemed stressed out.
Didn’t care for this story at all. It was poorly developed and kind of all over as far as characters and plot. Read like someone who knows nothing about the topic they’re writing on. I may try to mush through part 2 just because I hate leaving anything unfinished.
It didn’t have a proper ending! I despise stories where women get with a man because he rescued you from a situation just to put you into something you realize ain’t even for you. My “best friend” did the same thing to me so I was hoping her husband would wise up. Just a story full of sex, lies and deceit. And I’m mad that I have to be held hostage by the next installment.
I enjoyed this story. I’m looking forward to the next part. I’m locked in and looks like it’s gonna be a long night. I might as well enjoy a good book.
That sucka is certified crazy lol!!!! Possessive is putting it mildly, slave owner is more like it. He has the nerve to have entitlement issues and think he's the business's but is rotten to the core.....run girl run!!!!
