UNCERTAIN AUTUMN

Rate this book
Robbie Cain scrapped her middle class suburban life due to a poor fit. She was the poor fit. After divorcing her cheating husband and embarrassing her powerful, loving, overprotective family, she drives to the first place that feels comfortable to her.
She finds her peace in a rented kayak on the bayous of Caddo Lake, Texas and builds a new life on the edge of the dark water using her creative talent and hard work. It isn't perfect, but she is beginning to figure things out on her own. Until one brisk autumn morning, while out on the lake with her salvage partner, Earl, who happens to be a four pound mutt, Robbie discovers a dead woman in the murky waters and turns her fragile new peace into complete chaos.
Robbie becomes key in the investigation of the dead woman as well as a target of fear and intimidation. The body count continues to rise even though the local Sheriff and the FBI intensify the hunt for the serial killer. Robbie stumbles through her now dramatically complicated life with humor, tenacity and good friends.
This sexy, romantic, murder mystery will keep you intrigued, entertained, and a little bit lustful.
