Hi, I’m Patricia Moore — a dreamer with too many notebooks, a camera always in hand, and a head full of shadow magic. I write dark fantasy stories about fierce heroines, secret academies, and the thin line between destiny and choice. When I’m not building worlds like Dominion Academy, I’m capturing real ones through my photography business. My stories come from curiosity, emotion, and my belief that even the darkest journeys can spark light. Thanks for reading, reviewing, and stepping into the shadows with me.
I tried. Really. This was the most amazing piece of tripe. I should give it two stars for the sheer audacity of the author, for having published something that clearly should not see another person's eyes, ever.
I admire anyone who puts their heart and soul into their craft. This author phoned it in and it was a bad connection. And for the record, a series of poorly written chapters does not qualify as a book. None of the characters had been fleshed out-- they are all pretty much interchangeable. What I'm saying is that this collection of ideas was half formed and not well executed. This is merely a litany of immature characters and dull plots. Why would I want to pay to read more about them? Yep, not one story in this collection is complete. It stops because our intrepid author has split her story in at least three parts so you have to pay a couple times to find out how (or if) this thing ends. I respectfully bow out. Not only do I not care how these stories end, I am deleting this and boycotting anything else written by this author.
I'm sorry but this is just written very poorly. First off, the woman's eye color changes from one color to another within just a few chapters. What? The story clearly wasn't reviewed before publication, too many words that are just flat out incorrect, like what should be orgasm is organism, there are words missing, and even duplicated words. I hate starting books and not finishing, this book was truly a struggle for me.
This story was poorly written and edited. It could have been good, but didn't match reviews or synopses. I feel like I wasted my time, hoping it would get better, only to be let down by an unfinished product. Writer has talent but needs a good edit and some writing classes.
I was 58% thru before any real thing happened. If I'm supposed to like the hero, it's not going to happen. There's this chapter with a lady at a diner, but I'm not sure if she is supposed to be part of the story or not.
It all seemed like background to get to the story between the H/H. I hate to say this, but it confused the hell out of me. If it's the inciting incident it took to long.
I had to make this a DNF. Maybe when I really want to focus and try to better understand what's going on in the book IL go back and read it fully.
This is part one of this story of betrayal between a father an 2 son's the father an oldest son steal from the youngest son his future bride for themselves an a kingdom . 18+
The writing was a tad awkard the way words were strung together, and there wasn't much romance in this first part, but not bad overall, especially since its free and the next three are bundled in one version on kindle for only a dollar. 3.5 stars
It's been a few months since reading this book but I keep a list of all my Kindle/Nook books with a short description. This one I had written very boring and short. I also wrote not to purchase any more from this author.
Besides the typos, the plot was all over the place. I just wanted to throw my kindle against the wall at the end of the last book. I don't recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your precious time reading this.
