In this second volume, Subaru has another chance to be around Emilia whilst getting to know the others a little more, and understand the different types of magic –at least, that’s on the bright side of things. On the dark side, he gets killed a couple of times more and eventually he meets the person behind his current deaths.
Now, I don’t want to give a lot of spoilers but it is true that the people in the mansion are good at pretending to trust him. His smell stinks just like the Witch of Jealousy so they have the right to be concerned about where his loyalty lays.
Still, in this volume we see a devastated Subaru: we see him at his lowest, deep within a raw emotion that is hard to explain. I think that the illustrator’s work complements the light novels perfectly and both formats are, indeed, the greatest combo along with the anime adaptation.
I’m gonna be honest and say that it really made me shed a few tears out of frustration and empathy for Subaru, who honestly has suffered so much in just a few chapters. I could never imagine what it would be like to be forgotten by everyone you know…
Anyway, this second volume had more explicit violence, so please be aware of that.

More is revealed about the circumstances of Subaru's death. Relationships with many characters are ambiguous. You can smell the 'stench' of deception. The work has some flaws, but it is still enjoyable to read and the mystery is very gripping. Beautiful drawings

Cnfusing more than anything else... Characters are still great, but Rem/Ram gets confusing, especially with the frequent restarting...

In this volume, we find out who has been killing Subaru (and I gotta say, I was surprised), but why? The mystery continues to deepen.

I'm not going to lie, I'm getting way more in to this story arc than I am the first story arc! The plot just keeps thickening and hooking me in more and more and I'm coming up with all these theories and trying to put everything together! I feel like this story arc is a lot better and a lot stronger than the first one, like the story is finding its stride almost.
Subaru has gone four days back and that really starts to get to him in this volume. It was a very well done and realistic reaction to his situation and I enjoyed seeing it play out on the page. He adopts the tactic of trying to make everything go exactly the same this time around with interesting effects.
Roswaal provides him and us with a tutorial on how magic works in this world, something that I found very interesting and would like to know more about. Roswaal provides mixed feelings for me. I want to like him, I want to believe that he has nothing to do with anything dodgy, but as much as I love his character and want to see more of him and root for him..I feel like somethings off about him and I'm just waiting to see what it is.
This volume provides us with a suitably shocking reveal and some surprise twists that I loved and had me gasping! There's some gory deaths and a lot more information about the world and Subaru's situation, again, something that I find very intriguing.
I'm really liking Beatrice, shockingly, and I'm intrigued by her. I'd love to see more of her and find out more about her and her past and who she is and so on. I could say the same about Rem and Ram as well! I so badly want to know more about their pasts and I'm hoping the next volume will provide that!
On top of aaaaaallll of that, we get an original short story at the end of the volume too!
A Week at the Mansion, I feel, really steps the story up. There's more gory deaths, more surprises, more intrigue and I feel like the tension is higher in this volume. There's brilliant new characters to get to know, and that fill you with intrigue as you try to piece together their pasts and so on. I'm so damn curious about Ram and Rem and motivations certain characters have! I feel like this arc is going to be a lot more detailed and go in to a lot more depth and I'm excited to see it play out!

Seguimos en la mansión, Subaru acaba de tener un regreso por muerte, pero en este caso no sabe cómo a muerto.
Todo le estaba yendo muy bien, se estaba adaptando a la vida de ayudante de Rem & Ram, parece que estaba intimando un poco más con Emilia, y de repende vuelta a empezar de zero.
Al igual que el primer tomo de este arco, me lo leí en cero coma. Yo sigo siendo muy fan de Rem, Subaru y Betty, me encantan estos personajes.
Me sigo partiendo con subaru a la vez que hay momento que me da penita.
Este tomo en especial, no es muy apto para las personas sensibles ya que los autores no se han cortado ni un pelo en las escenas gore, con sangre, organos y miembros volando.
Estoy con muchas ganas de seguir leyendo el manga :)

This chapter is a way better because of the drawings, but because of the characters too. Crazy, colorful inhabitants of Roswaal's residence are making positive feeling.

By dying, Natsuki Subaru can reset time, although it it traumatic. I like this story because it can mess up the reader's emotions.
