In this second installment of the Hot Hollywood series Violet & Oliver grow closer finally declaring their love for one another. But the painful pasts they have both lived through find a way of working back into their lives. Scarlett is confronted by the ghost man that she feels ruined her live & people from Oliver's past seek revenge. This book is meant for mature readers.

This book was fantastic from start to finish!! I absolutely devoured it and I am very eager to move on to book 3!! It had anticipation and action and frustration and really hot sex!! And quite the shock that my lips are sealed about. You will just have to read this awesome book to find out!! I even teared up a few times and this book just gave me all the feels I look for in a book!!! There were times Scarlett drove me nuts but then she would redeem herself. And Oliver was so swoon worthy I just want to keep reading about those two, which I will get a chance to in book 3. I definitely recommend this book because if you liked Deep Focus (Book 1) you are going to LOVE Sleeper Hit!! Enjoy!!

This is book 2 in the Hot Hollywood series and continues the series with a bang. No shortage of drama, secrets, suspense or steamy scenes. The chemistry between Scarlet and Oliver is amazing. He's a billionaire and she's a film producer. He's controlling in his effort to shield her from getting hurt but she finds it confining. Then her secret from the past emerges. Does their relationship survive? No spoiler here, but you'll love reading this book and beware it's a roller coaster ride. I received an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

Book two is a hit. Scarlett seems to be getting herself together. Her film is one step closer to becoming a reality, and Oliver continues to be her knight in shining armor. Just when things seem great, this couple hits another bump in the road. The story ends with a doozy of a cliffhanger.

I enjoyed this book and recognized the similarities with Slyvia Day's Crossfire series. The relationship and character traits between Scarlett and Oliver are very similiar to that of Eva and Gideon. The young independent woman looking to forge her own way and is consumed by the man she loves, who is wealthy, powerful and full of secrets. The sex is out of this world, mind blowing and an ever constant occurance to the point it is questionably unhealthy. Their powerful attraction causes moments of absolute happiness and moments of complete and utter fustration between the couple.

This book continues where the first one left off and throws in some curveballs. Some you don't even see coming. Most of the characters seem to be ruthless, selfish and greedy. It is difficult to filter through the lies and deceit to find the truth.

Once again, this book leaves you hanging with the latest "drama" in Scarlett and Oliver's lives.

Scarlett and Oliver have grown closer and professed their love for each other. Oliver had also agreed to finance her movie although she is still trying to find someone else as part of her drive for independence and not being seen as being with him just to have his money. However apart from that life is perfect and couldn't be better. Then something shocking comes out from Scarlett's past and that changes everything as she can't hide from it nor can she run away any longer. However will Oliver be able to get over this and stay with her or will this ruin everything?

Wow - this was another rollercoaster ride through the highs and lows of their relationship with the past coming back to haunt them. As usual their relationship was very physical and so this is a book for adults. It was well written and ended once again with a cliff hanger so you just have to carry on to the next book to find out what happens next.

The reason I decided to read book #2 of this series is because of the way the first book ended. I was interested to see what Oliver would do to the "Ghost Man" when he left with the gun. Unfortunately I was disappointed when the next time Oliver was seen by Scarlett all the excitement was thrown away as he stated "he just needed to blow off some steam".......... After that it was just more of the same... Sex, fight, sex, fight, sex, fight... I don't think I can read book #3 even when again the last few pages are the most interesting and left at a cliffhanger. I am just afraid it will be another disappointment.

I couldn't put the book down from the moment I started reading it, for me this one is better than the first book. The ending was awesome, can't wait to read book 3.

Just keeps getting hotter! Scarlet and Oliver's chemistry is smoking hot. Just as one drama dies down another one unfolds keeping you on your toes. This book Sleeper Hit : Hot Hollywood book two by Madisyn Monroe starts off right where Deep Focus leaves off. The storyline continues the roller coaster ride of the last book. There's another big cliffhanger at the end. The characters are fantastic and the storyline is too! If you don't mind cliffhangers this may be the series for you!

I'm torn..i am liking the storyline but feel character development is lacking. I found myslef struggling to get into book 2. Mayne it was because i had read a few books in-between or maybe i was just not into reading i am honestly not sure why i struggled. i do want to know more of Oliver past and i want to see Scarlett succeed so i will finish the series

Scarlett is one of the most indecisive characters that I have ever read about & shows no growth. Oliver is still creepy possessive to me. I wish they would spend less time in the bedroom & less going back & forth about being together. They still haven't been able to convince me that they really are in love and in a relationship.

Don't waste your time. The story-line makes no sense and the plot turns out to be uninteresting. Also I'm not sure how the H and h are even attracted to each other besides the physical. The series does not get better. I kept going just to finish and confirm my suspicions. If you skip the multiple sex scenes that last 2-4 pages you can finish this book in about an hour.

Oh my sweet baby Jesus! When things begin to heat up they turn into a blazing inferno! Bad things are happening and Scarlett keeps getting caught in the midst of them. Oliver's obsession has allowed him to keep her safe...so far, but she is trying hard to be independent and protect herself.
Then several totally unexpected things happen...so many secrets still hidden that can wreck havoc in their tumultuous relationship.
am totally hooked on this series! I have to read the next story now...

Ooo more suspense romance in the making.

This book will remain in my "unfinished due to boredom" shelf for a long time... the characters act like they are bipolar, one minute they are all over each other the next minute they are fighting about nonsensical stuff. All this nonsense affects the story, which at this point I'm not sure there is one. The female acts totally immature and the male... I'm not even sure how to discribe him.
Maybe I'll finish it just out of curiosity but at this point I have a multitude of other books that are calling my name.
