I chose this book because I had to read a book on a diverse culture, and this book gave me all the information I needed! It was full of facts, real images, and gave me an insight on the culture in Mexico! I would reccomend this book to have in my classroom because it can be relatable to some of my students, and it opens of the minds of the students who are hispanic, and don’t know much about Mexico or the culture, I certainly learned a lot! I could tie this book into a lesson, or have the students look at from the class bookshelf! It’s a great book for informational purposes!!
