Hard to read because it is so biased. I’d have nothing to do with it if my college course didn’t use it as a textbook, which I will be addressing in my course evaluation. The author uses many, many dated sources and is clearly anti-law enforcement. It’s humorous how biased she is. I never thought I’d see “driving while black” in a college textbook, but there it is. No wonder the country is in the shape it’s in! The author has simply reinforced the victim mentality at every turn. Inflammatory and divisive. I did a little research on the author and… surprise! No police experience.
