This is a story of both magic and tech, NOT working well together, so there is magic (the Source) on the planets, and tech ruling the Void above. This is also about Empires and swords, destiny and politics. Lastly it is about a young man trying to discovering who he is.

Another great book. Jayden, still a teenager, flying in a group, leaves to wipe out 11 crews of Lizarde fighters single-handedly, and gets promoted to #2 in his squadron.
