Kelly lives in Nashville, Tennessee, and serves the Lord passionately both across the U.S. and internationally in a variety of creative roles. An acclaimed author, musician, Bible study creator and teacher, she is passionate to see women impacted by Jesus and His Word.

Growing up outside of Washington, DC, Kelly was raised in a Christian home, the oldest of four children and daughter of a pastor. Her childhood was seasoned with competitive sports, learning the guitar, singing, and a litany of church activities in the congregation her father founded and still pastors. Like many young women, Kelly dealt with inner struggles – anxiety and depression were a part of her growing-up years. “Those struggles are what drove me to Scripture,” Kelly says, “and the catalyst for me to learn for myself who God is.” Throughout her high school career, Kelly played basketball competitively, expecting that to be her path into college. But after a scholarship fell through, she began playing music. And God began a new thing.

Kelly moved to Nashville in the summer of 2000 and released her first record with WORD, followed by a subsequent release on a different label, leading to her first #1 Single on the Inspirational Charts, This Is My Offering. Shortly after this success and several cross-country tours her record company folded leaving Kelly to rethink her vocation and ministry. In the middle of an ever-changing music industry and on a tour through Colorado, Kelly met a book publisher who would two years later sign her to her first book deal.

Kelly’s first book eventually led to LifeWay approaching her about writing a bible study. Authoring curriculum was a new challenge, but one she quickly fell in love with. Kelly’s first three studies include, No Other Gods: Confronting Our Modern Day Idols, followed by Ruth: Loss, Love & Legacy and Nehemiah: A Heart That Can Break. Respected Bible Study teacher and speaker, Beth Moore, chose each of Kelly’s resources for three of her widely-reaching online summer studies. Thousands of women participated and were challenged by Kelly’s writing and her unique perspective on Scripture.

Kelly now writes, teaches, and sings across the United States and also in other countries. Speaking at multiple conferences and events, as well as four Women of Faith events in 2012, Kelly has become a steady and respected teaching voice to women, particularly when it comes to the Scriptures. She also partners closely with Justice and Mercy International (JMI), a ministry that serves in the Amazon jungle; she especially loves working with the jungle pastors who encourage her through their remarkable faith.

When home, Kelly’s days are spent writing, cooking, gardening, enjoying her neighborhood, loving her community, investing in her local church, and walking forward in the things God has for her. She is relevant, palatable, and uncompromising in her teachings from the Bible, and women relate to this.

This is such a great study! It was by no means easy. I was challenged in my walk with God. But if I wasn't, then why bother doing a study?!
God met me in the pages of this book. I was convicted of things I should be doing and I was also so encouraged by what I studied.
God loves me and He is continuing to work in me to make all things new in me!
I highly recommend this study!

I read this for a Bible study at my church. This was good but usually the Bible studies I read are, "Now what do you think about that verse" where this was "Name the 5 reasons Paul gave for writing to the Corinthian church". I guess the emphasis was on the word "study". It was good but with 5 sections each week it was a struggle to finish it during my lunch hour.

Great study for our women's group. Challenging but doable for people with a busy schedule. We learned a great deal and have valuable lessons to apply to our daily lives.

Ever since hearing her speak at a women's retreat, I have been a fan of Kelly Minter! Her studies convict and inspire me and never cease to draw me closer to the heart of the Father. All Things New is no exception! Each new year, I ask the Father to inscribe a word on my heart to serve as a theme or banner over the next 365 days. After reading this study, I resolve to be more jealous.
Jealous for the lost.
Jealous for my friends and family.
Jealous for my colleagues and administrators.
Jealous for my school and my students.
Jealous for my neighbors.
For the baristas and beggars.
For my brothers and sisters.
For this city, this country.
Jealous for the people who encounter me to encounter the Father and know Him more deeply.
Jealousy that is rooted not in competition or comparison but rather is borne out of care and concern for the other’s spiritual condition.
Jealousy whose goal is love for the Son with a heart undivided.
Jealousy that results in freedom and liberation.
Jealousy driven by desperate desire for a deeper relationship with the savior.
A cross of jealousy stretching upward and outward.
Jealousy to experience the satisfying love of the creator, sold out for no other.
This year I resolve to live jealously.

I know it took me almost a whole year to complete this Bible study, but I can tell you I completed it, each portion of it, at exactly the timing I needed it. Abba Father's timing is ALWAYS perfect and right on time! I completed this study on my own, not with a group, and I completed it without the videos. I am certain the videos would enhance the study, but I am thankful to be able to finish it without the added cost, for I wouldn't have purchased any of it otherwise... and thus I would have missed out on an incredible study of 2 Corinthians. There is a lot of meat in this study, not a lot of bones, if you know what I mean. I don't like fluff studies. I really want to dig in, and "All Things New" allows a good digging. There were portions of this study that were painful, portions that were so very raw and revealing of the mess in my life... yet, I never felt condemned. Yes, convicted at times, but conviction leads to repentance, and repentance is flooded with grace, hope and the unfailing love of Abba Father. What a great study! I highly recommend. Each book/study I have worked through by Kelly Minter has been wonderful. I look forward to starting Nehemiah next!

I read this book as part of a Bible study that I was invited to by a friend. I was hesitant, at first, to join the study. My hesitancy had nothing to do with the book, though, so I'm really not sure why I mention it. At any rate, I decided that I had enjoyed being a part of a small group when I was in college so much, that I would give this small group a try. It would be a chance to meet some new people and learn more about the Lord. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet new people, and I feel that I've learned a lot about the Scripture. This book played a huge role in that. This was my first time doing one of Kelly Minter's study, and I have to say that I enjoy her writing style. Kelly writes with humor and honesty. She reveals great truths about 2 Corinthians in an easy to understand way. She also gives historical background that helps the reader to better understand the setting of the scripture and the setting. The homework is thought provoking and just a little challenging, but not overwhelming. I really, really enjoyed this study and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a good Bible study, but it is very challenging. I found Paul’s words sometimes too difficult to understand, but after finishing the study, I felt I had comprehended a lot more than I thought. You can see Paul’s passion for the Corinthians in this letter. This church was his child and he wanted them to succeed in their faith. The videos which accompany this study cover part of each week’s study instead of the whole week. That made leading the study a bit more challenging, but each video message contains the most critical portion of each week’s study. Kelly Minter is a great teacher and always brings some humor into each video teaching. The videos had many of her songs included at the end of each video. Very beautiful and I now have some new favorite songs!

After reading it I wondered how I ever read 2 Corinthians on my own. It's a heavy book of the Bible and she did a great job helping me navigate and I learned so many wonderful truths. There is a lot of good stuff on relationships, as we study Paul's relationships with the Corinthians when they were at a difficult place, torn between Paul and the false prophets & trying to recover from misunderstandings re: Paul. It also left me feeling like I had a much broader view of the big picture of their relationship, of the times and place they were living in and of Paul.

This was an okay study. It was a bit too emotion-based. I like studies to appeal more to the logical. This is the first time I've heard of Kelly Minter. She's a great person, and makes solid points. I wish she had spent more time verse to verse. She tended to gloss over portions to get to her favorite parts. Her questions were also hard to follow. I wasn't sure what she was getting at until watching the accompanying videos. I don't think it should be that way. I much prefer Jen Wilkin studies. I wouldn't avoid Kelly Minter, I just probably won't intentionally seek her out in the future.

8 weeks of studying 2 Corinthians and I have fallen in love with this book (in the Bible) afresh. This review really is more about 2 Corinthians than it is about Minter, but she does a decent job walking us through it. I have a deeper respect for Paul and his passion and vulnerability displayed in 2 Corinthians. And it couldn't have had a sweeter ending than the Benediction.

If you want a “Beth Moore” like study, but you don’t have the intense time to dedicate to it, Kelly Minter’s Bible studies are a wonderful alternative. Her studies are real and refreshing! Full of knowledge and help you to grow in your relationship w Christ along the way. I had the blessing of doing this study with two friends and God taught us much about ourselves, His Word, and Him!

I read this book with my Bible study group. It's a deep dive into 2 Corinthians. Kelly has a way of seeing the extraordinary in the Bible that speaks to the heart. She relates Biblical truth with present-day gritty reality. This study deepened my understanding of 2 Corinthians and was a real blessing to me. The precepts she teaches will remain with me the rest of my life.

A pretty good study on 2 Corinthians. As per usual, my study takes me off the author's topic and searches for more personal meaning to the scripture text. So, Kelly Minter's study was good to be sure, and the stuff I got from the scriptures she listed were fantastic. :)

Kelly is such a great writer. Nothing bent out of shape about her. She shows the scriptures gently and lets the Holy Spirit do the rest. A nice slow examination of 2 Corinthians. I learned alot, remembered a lot, and the study stirred a lot.

What a wonderful and timely study. I love how God's Word never grows old and is always relevant. Kelly does a terrific job unpacking the rich wisdom God imparted to Paul. If you like Beth Moore, you will enjoy this as well, though the sessions are not as lengthy.

Facilitated small group and was a great study! The leadership package for week 7 has some misprints and is a repeat of week 6 but I followed with the non leadership package just fine!
