Too many of us walk through life feeling as if we don't measure up. We always seem to thirst for more. We think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough. But the truth is, we will never be enough. And thankfully, we don't have to be.
In this 8-session study, Jennie Allen walks through key passages in the Book of John to demonstrate how only Jesus is enough. We don't have to prove anything because Jesus has already proven everything. Discover how our thirsty hearts can only be quenched by the living water.

This is a great study! It goes through stories in Jesus's life from John to talk about how all of our deepest needs are met in Jesus. Beautiful and insightful.
I enjoy Jennie Allen and her books. I found some of the ideas of things to do to embrace parts of this book unrealistic for a variety of reasons. I also found that it weighed a little heavy on the sin side than the forgiven side, which is disappointing. In my walk of faith, I have found that I am forgiven and free, and I felt parts of this led me to feel anything but.
This bible study was so good!! I highly recommended it espically if you need rest, reasurrence, and fulfillment! Jennie Allen takes you through the gospel of John and explains and asked questions that really make you think. Anyway, this was amazing and I really enjoyed it!!
4.5 stars. I wish it were more in depth, more teaching. Overall, it was a very good study. It asked great questions that made you do some soul-searching. Would be a good Bible study for someone new or fairly new to Bible study. Not enough depth for those already used to Beth Moore or Priscilla Shirer, but still has thought-provoking questions.
One of if not the best Bible study I've ever done. My striving, perfectionistic heart needed every word of this. Jennie Allen can join my all-star Heaven girls' band now. Haha! (See my reviews of Sarah Bessey, Shauna Niequist, and Annie Downs' books.) ;)
I did not like this study at all, nor the videos that went with it. The study could have been condensed into about 1/2 of the book, instead of all the white space that was used to make it look like a much longer study.
I found her end of chapter 5 experiences unrelatable - "go buy or make a firepit"? For real? I didn't do one of them.
The chapter readings would start out good for a page and then go into basically a fill in the blank work sheet style. Our bible study group did not like this book at all and most stopped reading it half way through.
Great message as always from Jennie, but the format wasn’t easy to follow throughout the week between our group studies. I found myself less engaged in this study than her others.
