Skylar is a good witch with poor relationship choices… Skylar is a city girl full of spunk, peppered with bad habits and a gift for picking the wrong man. Bek, her last guy, put her inside a cat’s body and dumped her 200 miles from home. Well, in Bek's defense, she did torch his vintage Mustang. Still... Revenge is on her mind—definitely not a man—when along comes Luke, a country boy, tanned skin, all muscles, sexy smile, and a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, he's carrying a bowl of warm milk and a catnip toy.

NEW YORK TIMES Bestselling Author Susan Stec loves her Cavalier Buddy, that first sip of AM coffee, the sound her keyboard makes when she's on a roll, 70's rock, chocolate (lots of chocolate), iced mocha, and getting lost in worlds where myth and legend are reality. Her characters are always humorous, usually crazy, and, well, snarky. Oh, and they swear a lot. But don't hold that against them. They mean well...most of the time.

Classic Susan Stec

Witchy is very true to form for Susan Stec, and bears the hallmarks of the Grateful Undead series, which I had previously read.
Skylar is a witch with a huge problem... She's gone from an average witch with an attitude, to a cat with an attitude, in the space of a single disagreement. And her troubles are only just starting...
When I say this is classic Stec, I'm not messing around. This story is very easy to read, and the plot is more than interesting enough to keep you wanting more. There are some very entertaining scenes and one-liners mixed in with some surprises that keep the story interesting.
The fact that we get to see this story unfold through the eyes of both parties in the inciting disagreement is refreshing. After all, there are always more than two sides to any argument... And trust me, Skylar is a character who is sassy, hot tempered, and single-minded enough to get herself into trouble without any problems.
I loved this book, and can't wait for book two in the series...

I picked up Witchy because I've previously read Susan Stec's vampire books and enjoyed them and I was looking for a book to entertain me that wouldn't disappoint. I'm pleased to sat that it didn't. Skylar is an engaging and entertaining mc. I love her Italian spunk and general bad attitude. This action-packed story begins in medias res with a great opening scene that rapidly explains all that came before. As the story develops, there are several great surprises for the reader, especially around the proposal scene. The relationship sub-plot works well and doesn't overshadow the great supernatural action plot. The ending includes a great twist, though it's not altogether unpredictable. The editing could be a bit better towards the end, where there are a few instances of word swapping, eg. is instead of his, to instead of too. However, this doesn't distract to much from the story since it's so engaging. The setting is excellent. I especially enjoyed the detailed warlock rituals and summonings as well as the background with the Witches' Council etc. If paranormal romantic suspense is your thing, I'd certainly recommend this book.

I must admit that the cover totally turned me off on this book at first but the book was interesting after I started it. Poor Skylar messes up and her ex ends up sticking her in a cats body and dumping her far away from her home. Her problem is that she doesn't know how to get back to normal. While she is trying to survive she is saved by Luke who is a very handsome man. Skylar doesn't want a man, shes wants revenge and her body back.

I found this to be hilarious. Luke is adorable and you find yourself laughing out loud as things happen in the book. Poor Skylar.

Susan Stec ROCKS!! She does it again with Witchy. Here we have Skylar who has been turned into a car by her pissed off Warlock "boyfriend" Bek because she said no to wanting to marry him and setting his Mustang on fire. Now as a Witch she needs help to get back to her human body before Bek finishes his revenge. With the help of sweet, handsome Luke and another Witch Crystal, will Skylar be able to become human again and finally straighten out her messed up life?? Susan Stec is now one of my favorite authors!!!

I did not finish this book. that's very rare for me. not only quirky and strange, but then it became disgusting. not clean, and lots of cussing. I have no idea why it's got juch high ratings, but I could not handle this book. it became obscene, and crude. the story had little depth, and characters were strange. didn't know if they were joking, happy, angry...etc. I got 40% through this book, which was 39% further than I should have.

Uhhmmmm yumeer, prrrrrr!

Great idea, lots of action, romance, revenge and sexy time. What else can you ask for! How about friendship, loyalty and the right amount of wrong that rights and balances all other things!p?

I loved this book

It was by turns silly, adventurous, chilling, and overall great. It ha a unique premise and an engaging plot and characters. I sped through it in a day. The cover is a good guide for what you are in for with a raunchy witchy adventure. I hope there is a sequel !

This was a good contemporary fun read. Plenty of humour with a sarcastically highlighted heroine and a dirty rotten ex.

Funny, Strange and Good

It took me a while to wrap my head around this book. But it was worth it. It's funny, lots of witchy goings on and well written.
I say give it a try.
