I really enjoyed this book. While it can be read as a stand alone I recommend reading in order. Book 1 was told from Leona's point of view. Book 2 tells the story from Carson's point of view.
If you have read Whispering Wind, you know a lot of the story. However, in this book it gives a better understanding of how Carson felt and what he went through. This book also gives the opportunity to better understand his relationship with Abbey.
The book is well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The author does a great job portraying the characters, their emotions and the experiences they go through. Books 1 and 2 I found to be very heartfelt and emotional. I shed many tears while reading this book.
I can't wait to read book 3.

Stone has two special ladies in his heart. One who is his best friend who he's loved his whole life. It took many years for him to realize that the love he had for her was not the romantic kind of love. He realized that when he met Abby. He fell head over heels in love with her the moment he met her. The problem is, she can't accept his relationship with Leona. Can he convince her that Leona is nothing more than a friend, or is he doomed to lose her forever?
This story is so beautiful. While it can be read as a stand alone, I fully recommend that you read Whispering Wind first. It will help you get a better and deeper understanding of the situation. Plus, it's just as beautiful of a story as this one was I will warn you though. You need major tissues around. It can be a tearjerker at times. Actually, both books can be in my opinion. Either way, I fully recommend it. It's beautiful and it's inspirational. It's imaginative and it's outside the box.
My only issues with it was the fact that I feel that some parts weren't as long as I would of liked them to be. I felt that they needed to be more drawn out and expanded on. That's just my opinion. I'm not sure if everybody will see it the same way. Other than that, everything else was great.

As I told the author after I read this book HOLY CRAP! In a good way! It's that great! This is Stone's story and the reader gets the story from him this time. You also find out more about things that were just touched on in the first book. Ever since he first saw her Stone was there for Leona and loved her but when he met Abby that's when he really knew love but Leona was part of his life and would always be. Will they be able to be together, will Abby accept that Leona, and Kamila, will always be there?
WOW! This book took me on a ride, a great ride. It rocked my emotions in a way that very few books have done. It had me smiling, laughing and oh boy crying (warning the tears for me kept coming after I was done). The first book I thought was great but the author raised the bar even higher with this one. I can't wait for the next book but am also preparing myself to be a pile of mush if it's anything like this one. A must read for both romance and paranormal readers!!

Never has writing a book ripped my heart out the way Stone did. I can honestly say with all that was going on inside of me finishing Carson's story was a challenge. I know some readers will likely want to scream at me and others will just silently cry. I can only hope that you feel I did Stone justice and are prepared for Wind Storm.

This book in the series is from Carson's point of view. More details about what happens with Abbey. The emotions pop off the page and are intense. This is a very different kind of paranormal love story. Kamila, Leona, Grace, Mya and ultimately Abbey help Carson continue to be a good dad. I highly recommend this story.
