This is a novel about two people falling in love while dealing with some shit along the way. It's a new adult romance with angst.
Triggers include murder, abusive situations, and a woman in an uncomfortable situation with a man (no rape scenes and no cheating between the main characters).

Wow !! Aven Jayce writes another 5*+ read unlike any other storyline you have read before, The Land of Rabbits is a very well written book that will keep you hooked throughout.

Quinn is a sexy alpha guy who has lived through a rough childhood and is trying to make a better life or at least survive each day the best way he can.

Adlyn (Addie) is a lost soul having also suffered in her past.

A chance meeting at an Adult weekend retreat draws these two together is more ways than one, the storylines, secrets and a face well known from Aven's previous books will leave you laughing, shocked and counting down for book 2.

This would not be an Aven Jayce's read without the hot sexy scenes, the twisted mind games and the what the hell moments ! Loved it

Aven Jayce has a great way of weaving a great story that has you turning the pages non stop. The Land of Rabbits is no exception!
Adlyn and Quinn sure do meet in an unusual place. One that is full of secrets, mysterious people and sex. But these two are in for a bumpy ride and one that is not working in their favor.
Filled with twists and turns and WTF moments, this book certainly geared us up for a more thrilling ride with the next book in this series. Can't wait for it's arrival on my kindle. Great job Aven Jayce, love how you bring characters from your other books into this one too!!!

WOW !
Aven is definitely the Mistress of Mysterious mind f**kery !!
In this we meet Adlyn, who is living, well living of sorts, with her uncle and aunt. They decided that their love life needs spicing up so along with their friend and Adlyn head to Afterglow, a retreat that promises to make your wildest fantasies come true.
Adlyn doesn't want to go but is soon glad she does when she meets Quinn, the masseuse,but little does she know that her life is about to make a dramatic turn.
I absolutely love all of Aven's books, and the way she writes always keeps you guessing, as soon as you think you've figured out what's about to happen she totally twists your mind, not taking the path you think it's going to take. This book is like a modern day "Alice In Wonderland", where Adlyn is Alice following Quinn down the rabbit hole into the unknown !!
Absolutely brilliant !!! Can't wait for the next in this series !!!

This book is soooo good!! It's unique and mysterious and the writing is incredible I was glued to this book, I read it in one sitting.
Addie is a one of the best written female characters I've ever read. She's feisty smart and witty. Quinn is just awesome!! I love him and Addie together.
There's so much dialog and it was fun witty and sometimes sexy. I was in dialog heaven!! ♡♡

Aven Jayce has done it again, a great well written book that hooks you in from the first page and doesn't let you go. She introduces us to two new characters, Quinn and Adlyn as well as incorporating characters from previous books. It's full of mystery, unexpected twists and turns and some kick a@@ steamy sex scenes. Can't wait to read book 2.

Refreshing, blow me off course story line.

This book has been waiting on my kindle to be read, and now that I have...
I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner!!
We have a cast and crew of delinquent characters.
First we have Addie, she may fool you into thinking she's a goodie-two-shoes. If it comes to you or her, you'll find out, she's no push over. She's kinky, rebellious, and lost. She's been trying to find herself and where she fits it. She's had her life mapped out for her since she's been a child by her mother. Now Auntie and Uncle are at the wheel of her life. They take her on an escape weekend to a sex retreat. Yes, you've read that right. They're some fun loving hippies and hope to steer Addie's future too.
But not anymore!
She meets some one who intrigues her. He's part of the staff. And a good bit of mystery surrounds him. Quinn wants Addie and will keep her in the dark until he gets a sample if not a taste of what he wants.
But not only is Addie fighting temptation, his boss Roxanne is shutting off his red-light.
This is just the beginning. Along the way more characters with more complex twist and turns.
This book went somewhere I wasn't even thinking for a story line. This isn't like any other coming of age story out there. That's one thing I've come to expect and really enjoy with this author. She thinks outside the box.
This one is no different. We're taken on so many different twists that I never seen coming. Not even when the one and only Jack Jameson makes himself known.
Now I don't want to tell you too much more because I want you to be surprised, and shocked, with a lot of intrigue like I was.
Plus I want to get to book two to see how things will end for the characters left standing.
I would recommend this book if you want something refreshingly different from the every day normal book.
I don't really think they're any triggers to this book. Everything that happens is something in someone's every day life. Thankfully though, not mine.

Great and very different romance. I love Aven's writing style. It's direct and heavy on dialogue, to the point, not full of fillers and not overly descriptive. I've read Jameson Hotel and this is very different. Better. It's not erotica like that book. It's more of a new adult book, which I also enjoy reading.

I think what was the most enjoyable is it didn't have any of the trends in it. Like a billionaire or a royal family. It was average young adults placed in unfortunate circumstances. A little fantasy in that it probably couldn't happen, but then again, if you think about it... it probably could.

If you want a dark, funny, erotic book, like Jameson, this isn't it. If you want to read a love story, with people from a lower social class, caught in a bind and having no way out, but finding solace in each other. This is it. Such a unique one.

Great job again Aven. Looking forward to the next one. When is it?

I absolutely adore this book, it's loosely based on Alice in Wonderland and I have to say I love the way Aven's mind works; the twists, turns and revelations are always unexpected, dark humour always and the sense of there is always more to discover of her plot arcs.
This is so not what you are expecting when you start reading; Quinn and Addie are two people who you instantly warm to and want to follow them on this journey off the beaten track. They've had a rough start in life and have found their own ways of managing. I cannot say more without spoiling your experience and I'd never do that. But you must read this book.
Aven I need more now, I have so many theories, questions and only you can give me answers.

Twisty dark love story...

This was probably my favorite story so far. I love, love , Loved Addie and Quinn.. Oh Quinn. Ohhhh Quinn. I don't believe in spoilers, but this book had so many twists and turns. God, the character development alone is intense and I found myself falling down the rabbit hole. I don't know how in the hell I am supposed to wait for book two. Seriously though, Aven is such an incredible writer and what I wouldn't give to share a bottle of wine with her and listen to tales from her anything but average life. I'm gutted now. What happens next... (And p.s., how awesome was it that Jack tied in to the story?!?!?!)

Adlyn leaves for a resort in the mountains with her uncles, is still trying to recover from the death of her mother, killed a year ago. The resort is especial, it’s a sexual resort, you pay and your fantasies come true. That’s where she meets Quinn. She refuses to pay for sex but pays for Quinn to giver her a massage and they immediately feel an immense attraction to each other. They hide in the woods to be together but the resort manager catches them and throws them out. Later,Adlyn learns that Quinn is homeless and decides to leave the comfort of hr uncle’s house to live with him on the streets.
But a series of events will take them back to the doors of the resort where they will meet the owner, Jack Jameson, who at 22 years old has decided to follow the family steps( hotel owner like his father and the sex business like his grandfather). And it seems that his he Aldo inherited the love of knives, guns and singing while killing just like his father Mark Jameson.
The story has only just begun.

El resto es especial, es un resort sexual, tú pagas y tus fantasías se hacen realidad. Ahí es dónde conoce a Quinn. Ella se niega a pagar por sexo, pero paga para que Quinn le de un masaje e inmediatamente ellos sienten una inmensa atracción el uno por el otro. Ellos se esconden en el bosque para estar juntos pero la gerente del resort los pilla y los echa. Más tarde, Adlyn se entera de que Quinn es un sin techo y decide dejar el comfort de la casa de sus tíos para vivir con él en las calles.
Pero una serie de eventos les llevará de nuevo a las puertas del resort dónde conocerán al dueño, Jack Jameson, que a sus 22 años ha decidido seguir los pasos familiares ( dueño de un hotel como su padre y el negocio del sexo como su abuelo). Excellent story

It's my first book by this author but certainly not the last.

The author has the ability to create brilliant story, which this book is. The characters are very well described, the emotions are deep, their relationship develops beautifully and their fate is so close to reader's heart. They both won my heart, I liked the fact they were genuine.

The storyline was also well thought out at the right pace. The story was packed with events some unexpected some surprising. Although there is no official cliffhanger the story finishes somehow unfinished so therefore book two needs to follow to explain details. Hope it is as good as book one.

Great read

I really enjoyed this book. It's the first book I've read by this author but it won't be the last. The story was so different from the books I've been reading , and I found myself sucked into this at times disturbing plot and characters. I noticed after I already started that the Jameson series by this author sets the deep back story. It would be worth reading that first.

I thought this book would have Jack as a main character. So imagine my disappointment when he’s not even mentioned until many many chapters later. Addie and Quinn’s story had me like “What in the entire hell is going on?”. I just wasn’t a fan of their story.

The beginning...

Two people meet in a rather bizarre situation. Lots of drama ensues followed by alot of violence and sex . Ms. Jayce has a crazy imagination but wow , I sure enjoy reading the result of it. After all , she gave us the Jameson family . What else could we ask for ?

Twisty,Goosebumpy, and just wow

The twists and turns in this story is non stop. As things progressed with Addie and Quinn, I was worried about it being confusing. But it wasn't.Things stayed on track, we learned about their lives, a little about why(im sure there is so much more) I liked bringing in Jack from Jameson Hotel. I like series with connections, even if indirect.So surprised at the end of book 1, because you know, lives are only continuing, and so much more is coming.. I'd like more clarity when this timeframe is, because we know what happened to Paul at Jamesons Hotel, so I think I have an idea. Overall, great story, keeps you on edge.Thank you Aven, great book!!
