Their Love nearly destroyed both of them. Can they find their way back to each other?
Beth:
Can you love and hate the same person? I fell in love too fast, too young. I made decisions I thought would protect the ones I love. Now I’m hated for them. Skull is the love of my life. But our life was wrapped up in lies. We were captured by them, and left with nothing when they exploded. How much can a heart take before it breaks, and just doesn’t care anymore?
Skull:
Everything Beth and I had was a lie. I claimed her, but she left me broken. Letting her back in would be a mistake. Fool me once… but never again. Never. I won’t allow myself to be weak again. A man can only take so much. I’m done...or maybe not...
Conclusion of Devil's Blaze Trilogy. (Previously and tentatively titled Conquered) Breathe easy there's a HEA in there for Skull and Beth and you even catch up with Torch and Katie
I'm just a simple small town country girl, haunted by Alpha Men who talk in my head 24 hours a day.
I knew I wanted to write when it became clear I couldn't be happy with just viewing other people's stories. I always wanted to rewrite them.
Like why did Jack have to die? Why couldn't Rose move her butt over? Because that was a huge piece of wood she was on, people.
Happy Endings should be fought for, but they should always happen. Mine might take some curves and twists, but they eventually get there.
Having published over fifty stories, it always feels surreal that this is my life. Hitting USA Today had me crying for days, but nothing is more special than hearing from readers that they loved one of my books.
Ahhhhh this one was truly crap on a cracker. He blames her for everything and she takes his shit when she went thru hell!!! I mean actual hell at the hands of her sick twisted family. I was like "really asshole?" I was so mad the whole time with his bitch slut girlfriend and she tells him that for her he was "it" no one else would ever do!!! I was soooo mad and if it could get any worst he continues to keep this slut around for her to keep insulting her and almost kills her. Wow and they just gloss over the fact that he most extremely selfish asshole that ever was. I am done with this crap!!! This was a complete waste of my time. I can't understand how a man can do all this to the woman he loves?!? I am done with this author as well! She is not for me! Saying you always love her in the end DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR EVERYTHING! But what's more insulting was he said he loved the whole time he was treating her like this.

Decent read, nothing special. I liked the first one more then this but this one more then the second (if that makes sense lol)
Beth and Skull got their HEA and they definitely deserved it. Somethings just felt rushed. Beth and Skull basically go from “hating” each other to wanting to bone within a few pages. The first time they have sex again is after Beth shoots her stepbrother in the face (he dies obviously). I’ve read this sorta thing in a few books. What is it about killing someone that gets one horny? It’s a personal pet peeve of mine when things seemed to be resolved with good ol’ sex! Don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of some sexy times under the sheets but I also need more! More conversation, more feelings, more explanation … just MORE! Unfortunately, this book didn’t have enough. I still enjoyed it but I did skim.
The next book seems like it will be about Beast I was soooo looking forward to reading about him. However, seems like he will be matched up with a heroine that is pregnant with another man’s baby, unless I read that preview wrong. If that’s the case looks like his book will be a pass for me due to my personal preference of not wanting to read about a heroine who has a child with another man.
BEFORE BOOK RELEASE: Author states that "HEA of some kind is inside" that scares me!!! I hope Skull and Beth get the HEA they deserve!!
FINALLY... the conclusion to Beth and Skulls story.
I feel like I've been waiting to see how their story ends forever, the first book I really loved and it left a huge impression on me. That ending almost killed me so I'm happy to have some closure now!
What worked for me with this story was Skull, I have always liked his character. He is super cold, and bad-ass but when it comes to Beth he melts. He is possessive and his love for her is very apparent.
"I might be crazy as fuck, but I'm tying her to me again, and this time she's not getting the chance to get away...She won't have a fucking choice. Beth is going nowhere-unless I'm right beside her. She's mine. Nothing else matters."
I really felt for him and believed that he shouldn't have done all the grovelling in this book. In my opinion Beth had majority of the blame but I understand her perspective as well. She really irked me in this book.. I found her super annoying and although I sympathized sometimes I didn't like her at all.
I loathe h's that keep babies away from the father and it pissed me off how many assumptions she made about Skull. She constantly assumed he slept around on her for years and this is based on evidence from someone she doesn't like. Beth always complained about how he did sleep with Teena that one time but I don't think its justified to assume that after faking her own death and destroying him he is supposed to just be alone. He grieved for a year before he touched anyone and it was her fault for not going to him in the first place!
The couple doesn't really reconcile till a little after 50% which was fine, the story seemed to go by fairly fast. This was originaly going to be a 3 Star rating but it had a really nice epilogue and conclusion that suckered me into the extra star.
I'm looking forward to Beast's story. His story is pretty sad from what we've read so far, I want him to have a HEA!
H is a self righteous cheating man whore and the woman he cheated with was gross. Seriously. Couldn't he find a woman who was a teeny weeny bit palatable ? What a dumbass for a "hero". Couldn't he see that something was weird with the OW trying so hard to imitate the heroine's physical appearance? He was manipulated by the OW and couldn't even see it. Stupid. Just plain stupid. As for the heroine: she's living in a place called Martyr Central. And why did the author have to compound this heroine's suffering by having the villain cut and scar her all over her abdomen and thighs ? Seriously, I was not at all into this bullshit.
3.5 stars. Finally... the conclusion to Skull and Beth's story!! Definitely a roller coaster ride complete with layers of secrets, MC drama and action. Skull was a huge jerk for half of the book but I got over that when I was trying to make sense of everything going on. Great characters and writing , but the plot seemed a bit too crazy at times.
I spent a lot of this book annoyed with Beth, if only she'd handled things differently and yes I know she was only nineteen, I kept telling myself repeatedly that in an almost impossible situation she did what she had to do, I'm not arguing that but how difficult would it have been to leave a note explaining the situation, if not all of it then at least the fact that he had a traitor in his club and that she wasn't dead and would find her way back to him but he had to trust her. I assumed for a while she'd left a note folded in the locket and he just hadn't opened it. Despite all the above this read tied up a lot of loose ends and worked better for me than the previous one 'Burned' but it still, for me anyway never reached its full potential.
Jordan Hordan how do I love thee...let me count the ways. One. You named Skull's daughter Gabby which to me reads as Gbaby ;) same letters hey. Two. You gave me more of my husband aka Torch. Three. You gave me a happy ending with some revenge pie. Four. That epilogue made me giggle. Five. You are going to write me a May December story about *cough* Gbaby and Torch and how she mends his heart after Katie breaks it. Don't question this - let it happen hehe *tickles your toes and pets your hair* ARC for an honest review.
So finally I've reached this book! Released is the conclusion to Beth and Skull's story. Without going into all details- we know that Skull thought Beth was dead.. and moved on- only to realize a year later that she wasn't. He then goes to get her and his kid back, trying to keep his emotions locked up, but love intervenes. Now I read all the drama regarding him being a cheater and was about to give up on this series, until my friend asked me to give it a chance- and it was a good decision. I absolutely detest cheaters but I could tolerate Skull because.. - it only happened when he thought he killed her- that means after her death? - He doesn't touch anyone after he hears she's alive - He actually calls himself an adulterer and accepts his fault Did I get raging mad about him flirting and sleeping with someone else? Yes. But even the character feels he is cheating the minute he comes to know Beth is alive and stops. Anyways, the focus of the story is these two lovebirds discovering the new each other- including the scars, coming together as a family and falling again in love with loads of Spanish endearments. The thing that did annoy me was him saying he was falling in love with someone else.. and at that point I was like dude.. nah..(though he later says he only loved her I was still angry). After that we move back to our crazy in love couple- and it has a lot of love yous and breeding and confessions. It was a roller coaster ride with equal amount of feels and angst and OTT emotions.. but in the end all tied up in a neat bow. Overall, enjoyed it and looking forward to rest of the books. Half extra star for the wonderful epilogue. Can't wait for Beast and Hayden. Not safe 4/5

You would think, you learned everything there is to know in Claimed. But you would be wrong. So wrong. There is so much more secrets to reveal. More secrets needs to get out to make the club, but most importantly Skull and Beth to breath again.
I love how Beth grow. She matured. She find a backbone. It wasn't easy and it didn't happened in a moment. But the change was amazing to see.
And talking about Skull. He was still the biker I fell for in Captured. Even if at the beginning he was lost in pain, hate and grief. Making me wondering, will he be able to see past them.
I loved the how Skull and Beth found their way back. I can't explain why theirs story is so special to me. It just they hold a special place in my heart. So, it was kind of a bittersweet read. Knowing we are at the end of theirs journey. At least for us. But for Beth and Skull it just the beginning of theirs. They finally has a life they'd deserve to live with a lot of joy.
The final book in this gripping series is outstanding, Jordan Marie kept me hooked throughout Released and answered all questions left open in the previous two books, of course she has thrown in a few bombs that you will never see coming.
Released takes you on an emotional journey : you will laugh, cry, scream and have a love/hate relationship with Skull. Beth has grown throughout the series and is so much stronger loved seeing a new feisty side to her.
Devil's Blaze series is a must read for lovers of a gripping MC story that contains drama, hot passion, feisty females and a whole bunch of sexy alpha bikers.
Pretty good book! the story was good and the characters were great when they weren't driving me crazy. Both the hero and the heroine refused to budge and set aside their hurt feelings far too long. So many bad things happened to split these two apart but thankfully they worked past it. The ending was great. This was the final book in this series and it was worth the wait. I highly suggest that you read the first two books first because you will get lost otherwise.
Released is the much anticipated conclusion to Captured and Burned. There is a fine line between love and hate, and the immensely talented Jordan Marie did a phenomenal job dancing right along that line in this book and the two leading up to it. Edgy, gritty and fraught with intense emotion, Released is precisely the kind of book that devout MC romance fans hope for when they pick up a book in this genre.
When I started reading this book, the depth of pain this couple was in and the anger they held for each other was just so all consuming. I'll admit to being concerned that this couple might not have been able to wade through it all to find their way back to each other. Like Skull and Beth, I was so mired in their pain, I lost sight of their love.
Their moment of truth was a collision of emotions -- pain, anger, heartbreak, devastation, longing, and then finally love, hope, desire, trust and ultimately forgiveness. Jordan Marie's abilities as an author shone through with spectacular results in this book as she guided us through the minefield of emotion that was this couple's reconciliation. On a completely gut-wrenching journey through Jordan's words, I felt everything right along with Beth and Skull. The final hurdle this couple needed to clear was trust and forgiveness and that moment was so poignant in it's brutal honesty that I was left almost emotionally spent, except for hope.
While the love story of Skull and Beth was front and center, there was still a serious threat to the club and to Beth and Katie lurking in the shadows. It was during one of these moments that Beth was able to show Skull that the innocent, naive girl he fell in love with had truly grown up. Throughout this portion of the plot, Jordan peeled back Beth's layers showing the reader the strong, brave, fierce woman she had become. And in witnessing her transformation firsthand, Skull was able to let go of his anger and heartbreak to instead latch on tightly to the love he felt for this woman. Together these two are far more strong then they were apart, and as a couple, they left no doubt in any of their enemies just how formidable they were.
I've been a fan of Jordan Marie's since the release of her debut novel, Breaking Dragon, and with each subsequent release, my admiration and adoration of this author's work and abilities has grown. Her stories are always richly developed, incredibly detailed and deeply moving. They stay with you long after you've finished reading them. But this book--this series--is something else entirely. Not simply just a book I read; no, this was an experience.
I've said in my reviews of Captured and Burned that this series is destined to become one of the greats in the MC romance genre, and I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically stand behind that bold statement. Equal parts heart-breaking and heart-pounding, I sobbed, I raged, I railed, and I rallied right along with Skull and Beth. As a lover of reading, intense emotion -- "the feels" -- is what I hope for when I one-click a book and tap the screen to open it on my Kindle. What Jordan Marie gave me within the pages of not just this book, but this whole series, was beyond what I had hoped for, more than I dared to dream for and a story I will not only have a hard time moving on from, but one that I will never forget. Well done, Jordan Marie, very well done!
I was a beta reader on this series. ARCs were provided during the creative process without caveats, and it was understood by the author that I would review honestly. I have purchased copies of all the books in this series for my digital collection.
Released: Devil's Blaze MC Book 3 by Jordan Maria is Gripping and Powerful, What a ride, Sweet <3
Skull and Beth's story comes full circle with more intensity than ever. and when he takes Beth and Gabby to the Devil's Blaze MC's clubhouse things will most definitely come to a head.
3 years ago Beth thought she was doing the right thing. She believed what her father had told her on that boat and the video he played for her, little did she know it was all a lie to get her to come back. She ended up being tortured both mentally and physically along with her sister Katie and fled when their chance came to escape. On the run and pregnant she never believed she would see Skull again or feel the love they had, but he does find her and that is where this story really begins.
Skull has turned bitter and angry over Beth's supposedly death he believes he caused and now that he's found out it was all an elaborate hoax by her father, he is furious. Not only is Beth alive but has had a child, a girl, Gabby, He has missed out on the first 2 years of her life.and is now keeping Beth under lock and key. Can his anger towards Beth be tamed or will his hate towards her be his downfall? And what happens when Beth tries to tell him her suspicions about the good doctor Tenna he won't listen. Will that one mistake cost him everything? Squeal..
Fast paced, tension filled and gripping tale about how things are not always what they seem to be. Loyalty and Trust will be tested but Love has a way of working things out, or does it? hmmm
Recommend for mature audiences due to strong language and sexual scenes. 5 stars

Have you ever read a book and couldn't figure out how the author was going to redeem the hero/heroine when one of them was devastated by the actions of the other. Well pick up this totally FANTABOLOUS book and see how a AWESOME writer does just that. This book picks up right where we left off with Beth and Skull in Burned. Skull's hurting from the actions of the woman he loves who was doing what she had to to protect the man she loved and the sister she thought was dead. Beth is now noticing that maybe if she had a little faith in her man that all would be okay and she and Skull would have been raising little Gabby together. Both them are now seeing what the other has been through and that just maybe once after the danger is gone they will come out STRONGER than ever. This story has action, drama, kick a** women, deliciously alpha men and a storyline that is unique as well as extraordinary. The chemistry between the pair is still just as DYNAMITE as always. Jordan Marie has another HIT on her hands and I'm glad that I was apart of this journey.
FINALLY!!! Ahhhh...I have been waiting for the conclusion to Beth and Skull's story and I finally got to read it and OMG what a crazy, emotional, violent and fulfilling thrill ride it was. At the end of book 2, Skull was so angry, betrayed and stubborn that I really didn't know how things would ever work out between him and Beth. Add in the sabotage from some disgusting sources which would be dealt with, the fact that Beth's sister Katie and Torch were an item and that their daughter was the glue that would hold them together...and I knew deep down in my heart it would all work out in the end...but NOT before some major headaches, near-deaths and a whole lot of drama. Released was a good finish to the trilogy and now I really really want Beast's book after reading the sneak peek (I just KNEW he'd be the one to go where he does)!! Thank you for an amazing love story! I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.
***** 5 ***** "all ends as it should...she is his world" stars
Jordan never fails to leave me with a major book hangover! I honestly read this book in one sitting. I have been waiting for the conclusion to Beth and Skull's story and I was left smiling. Of course that was after my heart was breaking and my pulse racing at parts. I knew it was going to be a complicated journey but I was on edge waiting for the outcome.
Skull loves Beth and she completes him and this scares him to death. He knows that he can't live without her but he is also afraid to trust again. Beth, oh geez, I love this woman. She is so strong for everything that she has lived through. She honestly puts everyone before herself, even if it is going to cost her pain.
The journey these two go through is heart wrenching but beautiful. They are perfect for each other. I loved seeing these two become a family with Gabby. The epilogue I LOVED! I am sad to see this come to an end but so happy I read this series! Great job Jordan Marie, again!
First, kudos to the Ms. Marie for giving us an explanation as to why this book was late. This is not owed to me, but it was pleasant to have an explanation, so... Thank you!!
Great conclusion to the series. I GOT Skull. I understand his insecurities, and his fears. And I saw the love that he had in the beginning for Beth. They were a great couple. Fighters to the end. Even when I wanted to club him over the head, he was so alpha and so endearing, it was hard to stay mad at his hard head.
Beth was just the kick-ass woman that Skull needed in his life and she didn't disappoint. She was real, and tough, and was there for her man.
I loved the glimpses of Katie and her family, and the epilogue for both Beth and Katie. Great fun, fast, sexy series. I will be reading more by this author.
I have been waiting for this conclusion like a dog waits for the postal carrier!
YOWZA! Jordan Marie delivers another homerun. This story is hot, scintillating, jaw-dropping, edge of your seat, AMAZING!
I was a hardcore Skull hater after the first two books. Like, let's maim him and cause him lots of pain. And Beth, I am so glad she grew a set and stood her ground. I'm so proud of their growth. I loved their story.
This book does an outstanding job of keeping you hooked and begging on hands and knees for more.
I've said it before, but I will say it again. I will read anything Jordan Marie writes. She writes with such passion and conviction that you can't help but become completely immersed in the stories and the characters. You feel all of the love, hate, lust and sadness from each page all the way down to your soul.
The conclusion to the Devil's Blaze MC Trilogy could not have been more perfect! We all knew that Skull and Beth coming back together was going to be rough and extremely emotional on both sides. Jordan Marie did a beautiful job of expressing their journey and it was heartbreaking at times but also hot, sexy and suspenseful. Skull stole my heart in this book and won't give it back!! 5 HUGE Amazingly beautiful stars!! What a crazy ride it's been with this trilogy and I have loved every single minute of it!!!
Re-read: I forgot how many twists, turns and revelations happen in this book. Skull and Beth are definitely not the same people they were in the first book, but then again, they’ve been through hell and back, coming out stronger for it. Jordan Marie definitely takes you on a wild ride to wrap up their story and give them the HEA they deserve.
Holy smokes. What a ride. There are more twists and turns in Beth's family tree than anyone knew. Skull finally made me care for him (it did take all 3 stories before it happened) Excited to see that Beast is getting a story too.
Overall Rating :: 1 star Series :: Book three of the Devil's Blaze MC series. Hero/Heroine :: Skull/Beth POV :: Alternating. Cliffhanger :: Nope. HEA ::

Okay, my gripes.
1. I feel like I'm missing something. A novella, maybe? Is it just me, or does it feel like Torch is remarkably (and oddly) close to Beth and Gabby? Why does Gabby, in particular, like him so much? From book two to this one, did they have a lot of interaction that is just implied sorta off the page?
2. Christo is used by Skull as an exclamation twenty-five times. You need new phrases, man.
3. Again, I feel like I missed something, and this time, it's in regards to what happened to Beth and Katie when they were under the thumb of Colin and Matthew. I feel like a lot was implied, and Beth had a special sensitivity regarding her upper arms, but I don't know why exactly. She was tortured, sure? But how? And I mean, she was pregnant at this time! I feel like that would have, or certainly should have been a bigger deal. I mean, my husband didn't even want me to lift a freaking laundry basked when I was pregnant. And she was tortured. But, I don't know exactly know how.
The ending is what you would expect. Happily ever afters all around. But unfortunately, not my favorite by a mile.
Skull has Beth and his daughter back but he's so full of rage, hurt and betrayal that it's consuming him. He's hunting down Colin and Matthew, working out his anger on Pistol, trying to connect to his daughter and fight his feelings for Beth.
Beth never stopped loving Skull, she has her own demons from her time with her 'family' and believing Skull betrayed her.
I've been rooting for these two from the first book and I'm glad they finally get their HEA even if it's a rough and bumpy road.
There are parts I really enjoyed and parts that left me meh. There's some folks going nuts claiming Skull was a cheater but as soon as he found out Beth was alive he broke things off with the woman he was with so I have no idea why they are getting bent on this except she was a bitch and he allowed her to still hang around, which had Beth losing her mind every time she saw her.
This was a frustrating read, there were inconsistences that left me frustrated. For example, if he really scrapped off the doctor, why did he let the doctor touch him? There were also other moments that Skull seemed to act out of character from the first book. It just didn't seem like the same guy sometimes. Beth and Katie spent two years on the run learning to take care of themselves and fight yet Beth was often tucked in a back room stuck in her head playing martyr, which didn't match up with that training. I did love the moments that Beth kicked ass, it just seemed to waffle between victim to kick ass babe.
Amazing, heat-wrenching love story. Probably my favorite book in the Devil's Blaze MC series so far.
"My daughter stays here. She's not leaving this compound, Beth." "Bullshit. Living in a club with a bunch of horny bikers getting their rocks off is no place for a small child." "I can remember a time you didn't mind it." "I'm not that woman anymore, Skull." "A pity. I actually liked that woman." "Something about being lied to, held captive, almost dying and killing someone, changes you. Go figure."
Happy reading!
