The stunning final chapter in the Jade Crew series. Mysteries unravel as the invasion of Genesis Valley looms large.
Evan Mosier sits behind a row of metal bars, contemplating his life. He's used up more second chances than anyone should be entitled to. And yet he's about to be given one last chance to prove his worth to Genesis Valley. With things taking a dangerous, and deadly turn in Genesis Valley, the miners need every last friend they can get. Even one who used to work for the enemy. Now if only he can focus on helping to save the only people that will put up with him, and not being distracted by the fiery, hard-charging woman that was just thrown into the cell next to him.
Victoria Mackey is in need of a fresh start. All the people she's met in her travels have told her of a place called Genesis Valley. Well, she made it there, and was promptly thrown in jail. It isn't the first time she's been treated differently for being a female shifter, but it wasn't exactly the welcoming committee she expected. But when the man in the cell next to her insists that she be released alongside him to join his new crew, she can't help but wonder if it's a sign. It doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes.
Her newfound freedom isn't all it seems to be however, as Victoria finds herself caught in the midst of a looming conflict that threatens to destroy the Valley. Although she may be new to town, Victoria isn't about to let someone else destroy the place before she's gotten to know it. As things descend into turmoil, the new couple find themselves torn in different directions as the countdown to invasion expires. Can they overcome the evil machinations of one of the most powerful dragon shifters on the planet, or will their love be as brief as it is bright?
Amelia Jade loves to write the stories of tall, growly shifter men and the women who come to love them. Living out in the back-country near the mountains, she keeps her own alpha male close by, to keep the bears away and keep her warm. In her down time (which is rare), she loves to read science-fiction with a dash of fantasy. You can often find her curled up in front of the real wood-burning fireplace, her nose firmly buried in a book or her favorite ereader. The cold can't bother her there!

Whilst these stories are short and lack good depth, they do capture your attention. Didn’t like Evan and Victoria getting together as they do and having sex with no real connection. But it was nice that Victoria straight up told Evan he was at fault for Emily’s death. But then she seems to know way more than she possibly could know in such a short time frame. Glad the women had the chance to do their thing in the battle. Really loved the twist about Luther but what a complete ratbag doing what he did to his own child. Pity the fight between the dragons was not included. Surely not all those shifters who had been heading into Genesis Valley would have been completely on Luther’s side after being approached by them. Yes they could have been pressured but could have skipped out if fighting somehow. Just wish the errors had been picked up. Know instead of now changes a meaning completely. Read in the box set.

While the shifter war was prevalent in this story, how is it that Tristin was the first to get pregnant and then Emma got pregnant a month or so later but Emma got to 9 months pregnant and delivered her baby while Tristin never did? Big continuity issue added to the typos made this book drop down in stars for me.
I love seeing Evans story. Some that that so desperately needed a second chance got that here. In this whole series's when everything went down I had still a heart for Evan and seeing his story come to life was awesome.
I received this for a honest review. This book has so many surprises along the way. I truly loved this story and think the author did such a wonderful job concluding the Jade Crew Series. Though this is the last book of the Jade Crew series I am glad to see there will be other books brought out concerning Genesis Valley. This book works fine as a standalone, so don’t worry if you have not read any of the other books in the series.
When you are reading the story of Evan and Victoria you will see how they fit together wonderfully. Both need a second chance. If you have read any of this series you know that Evan has messed up time and time again. He is truly lucky to be alive. This story is of second chances, taking responsibility for your actions, and forgiveness.
Victoria had heard that Genesis Valley was the place to go when you were on your last chance. She was a bear shifter that needed a fresh start. She had to be surprised when Garett and Gabriel had thrown her in the pokey. I almost died laughing at the term Gee-Gees, to funny.
Victoria has a few lessons to learn and one of them is trust. She will need to learn to trust Evan and what she is feeling for him. She knows deep down he is her mate. Listen to Evan’s story had to help some. It showed her they had more in common than meets the eye.
In each book in this series I have found Ferro a very interesting character. Each book in the series has given us a little more into Ferro’s life. There is a lot of surprises in this book when it comes to Ferro. Hold on to your seat because it is a douse.
There is war coming and the shifters are wondering if the will make it out. I love they are willing to stand up and fight and protect what is theirs, plus they know it is the right thing to do. It seems that all the crews are coming together in unity and it is so awesome to see. They are learning the importance of needing each other. Trust me when I say this is a battle you do not want to miss.

FALLEN BEAR(Ridgeback Bears #7) by Amelia Jade
Evan Mosier has been contemplating his life whilst sitting behind bars, when he meets a beautiful and mysterious shifter whose thrown into the cell next to him. He doesn't understand why she's there, but when he gets a last chance to prove himself he accepts and takes his cell buddies and the new shifter with him. He has alot to prove to Genesis Valley and been offered the opportunity to redeem himself and be an alpha of his own crew, is a beginning. With the danger lurking, ready to come for all those in the Valley, everyone has to stand together and fight.
This is not what Victoria Mackey envisioned when she decided to go to Genesis Valley for a new start. Thrown in jail was definitely not part of the plan. Neither was meeting the interesting shifter in the cell next to hers, who insists on taking her with him when his released from jail.
But she gets more than she bargained for when she decides to take him up on his offer, of joining his crew. With a new threat hanging over all their heads as well as other complications, turns her life upside down. But even though she's new in town, she isn't going to let anyone destroy the place she's going to call home and the man she loves. Together, with their crew and the others, can Evan and Victoria help save their town and those they call friends and family?
Loved it, what a great conclusion to this series. I think this is my favourite of this series. It was a very entertaining read, and the characters were awesome. Can't wait to read the next series!
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I'm always a little sad and really nervous when it comes to the final book in a series. Sad to see it end, and even more nervous that something horrible will happen and ruin the series for me, like a character I loved through the series dying (which I can not describe how much I HATE). I'm very happy to say that I had nothing to worry about with this book, and I loved it as much as the rest of the series! There were some interesting surprises (no spoilers), and some questions that make me curious what the author has in store for her future books in the Stone Bear series. (hopefully we get to see more supporting characters get their own stories!)
I loved that we got to see characters from previous books, and that they were all fine at the end. I think one of my favorite things about the series is that even though there's a lot of fighting, the characters that are killed are 'unknown' for the most part, that makes it easier to read about in my opinion.
Evan and Victoria were perfect mates for each other, and it was a nice, refreshing twist that both of them were shifters. I haven't came across a lot of books with the female and male leads both being shifters, and I would definitely love to see more books like it. Victory was such a strong lead, and perfect for Evan. I enjoyed following their story, seeing them fall in love. and was very happy with how the book wrapped up.
Jade Crew: Fallen Bear deserves 5 stars and a WOW. This is a Top Pick all the way!
Bad boy Evan Mosier, bear shifter, from Genesis Valley has his own story to be told. He struggles with past anger issues and has trouble letting go of his tormented past. Will this reformed bad boy's angry soul be tempered by the love of a true mate? What changes will life bring him?
Female bear shifter Victoria Mackey is going to make changes in Evan's life. Their communication skills needs work. Where will this spicy hot attraction between true mates lead them? I see spicy fun in their future. Are you envious yet?
Beware! The final showdown is near. Will Luthor and his misled rogue shifters be on a rampage? Will the Jade Crew and allies be able to stop things before it's too late?
I adored Evan and Victoria. Both grew up with no family to help them adjust and understand being a bear shifter, and to deal with their emerging bears. Both had hurt people in the past, through no fault of their own, when their bears were newly awakened and uncontrollable. By moving to Genesis Valley, they have a second chance. As the conflict with the Genesis Valley shifters heats up against Luxor, an evil dragon trying to rule the world, Evan and Victoria finally get their chance at love and redemption. Once again we get to see the other characters from the series, and I can't wait to find out what happens with Ferro the dragon, and the search for his daughter. I was given this book for an honest review.
What a fantastic ending to a fantastic series! I have read every book in this series, and have enjoyed reading every one of them, but this one went even higher than my very high expectations. I was so glad that Evan was given another chance, and I really like how that was done in this book. I also like Victoria, a sassy female bear shifter. Then, all the female mates contributing to the battle, I loved. I like those strong female characters. Then, there is the ending, very meaningful. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review, and I highly recommend this whole series, but you need to start st the beginning and read them in the order that the author meant for them to be read in.
The Alphas knew they needed help to defeat Luthor, so they turned to The Fallen in jail. Evan is surprised when they put a woman in jail. He's even more surprising when the came to let them go and made him an Alpha again. He asked that Victoria be released with them. Victoria didn't know much about being wanted, but looking at Evan brought new feeling of bonding. But with all the conflicts they need them. If they want to save the valley everyone has to fight. I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Awesome ending
Jade Crew: Fallen Bear (Ridgeback Bears, #7) by Amelia Jade
No shifters have been let into Genesis Valley for several months now, so why is a female shifter able to just walk in?
Well, now Vicky is sitting in a cell, waiting to find out what they are going to do with her.
Evan is going to be given another chance to prove his loyalty and Vicky has decided to help him. But, will a bunch of bears be enough to stand up to a very powerful dragon?
I enjoyed the whole series..It isn't over but all of the jade crew did get mated...before I read this book I thought Evan was going to be mated to Ferro's granddaughter. But reading the end it seems as though it is Raph from the stone bears and I am really looking forward to his journey as well as Ajax and Ferro's. Great ending to this crew!
Evan, Victoria, and all of the valley shifters band together to stop Luthor from killing all of them to gain control. Of course, there is much more to this story full of amazing characters, complex plot, and lots of twists and turns. Sorry to see the series end. Enjoy!
This series has epical energy. So much is happening and there is never a dull moment. Lots of great sex, high energy bears and females. This last one was a total surprise. I loved it. Finally a female bear shifter with an attitude.
i loved this entire series and the finale with Evan and Victoria was the perfect end to an amazing story. The shocker for me was Ferro the bartender. plot twist extrordinaire! looking forward to reading everything else you write!
I was hoping Evan would get his own book even after all the things he got into and the pain he caused. I really enjoyed how this book was written and that his mate was a shifter too was fun. Going to read the next one now!!
So sad to see all the Jade crew bears mated. It's bittersweet to finally get to Evan and see him finally straightened out. Patiently waiting for the next book.
